前記反応式(1)によって水酸化リチウム水溶液を製造する場合、炭酸リチウム投入量による炭酸リチウムの水酸化リチウム転換率を確認するために、炭酸リチウムと水酸化カルシウムを表1に示されたように水1Lに投入した後、常温(21℃)で5時間の間撹拌した。
高濃度水酸化リチウム溶液を製造するために、炭酸リチウム54gと水酸化カルシウム57gを蒸留水1Lに投入した後、常温(21℃)で5時間の間撹拌した。
水酸化リチウム一水和物(LiOHH2O)粉末を製造するために、前記高濃度の水酸化リチウム溶液を35mbarに減圧したフラスコに入れた後、フラスコを50℃に加熱した水に浸漬し、回転させながら水分を蒸発させて、リチウムを濃縮した。
前記実施例3の水酸化リチウムろ液と水酸化リチウム洗浄ろ液のリチウム濃度を分析し、その結果を表3に示した。
下記表5は、水酸化リチウムろ液と水酸化リチウム洗浄ろ液の混合液のリチウム濃度と、混合液に含まれているリチウムを回収するために、混合液1Lにリン酸ナトリウム351gを投入し、常温で4時間撹拌して、リン酸リチウムを析出させた後のリチウム濃度を示す。
前記実施例4の水酸化リチウムろ液および水酸化リチウム洗浄ろ液に炭酸ナトリウムを投入し、製造された炭酸リチウムスラリーをろ過して、炭酸リチウム析出物とろ液に分離した。

- 炭酸リチウムおよび水酸化カルシウムを用意する段階と、
前記炭酸リチウムおよび水酸化カルシウムを溶媒中で反応させて水酸化リチウム水溶液を収得する段階と、
前記炭酸リチウムおよび水酸化カルシウムを溶媒中で反応させて水酸化リチウム水溶液を収得する段階後に、
前記水酸化リチウム水溶液を濃縮させて固体状の水酸化リチウムと第1ろ液に分離する段階と、
前記第1ろ液中のリチウムを回収する段階と、を含み、
前記炭酸リチウムおよび水酸化カルシウムを溶媒中で反応させて水酸化リチウム水溶液を収得する段階で、
前記溶媒中の炭酸リチウムの濃度が、53.77g/L~80.65g/Lであることを特徴とする水酸化リチウムの製造方法。 - 前記溶媒中の水酸化カルシウムの濃度が、27g/L~115g/Lであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水酸化リチウムの製造方法。

固体状の炭酸リチウムおよび第2ろ液を分離する段階と、前記固体状の炭酸リチウムを洗浄する段階と、
前記第2ろ液または前記固体状の炭酸リチウムを洗浄した洗浄ろ液中のリチウムを回収する段階と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の水酸化リチウムの製造方法。 - 前記第2ろ液または前記固体状の炭酸リチウムを洗浄した洗浄ろ液中のリチウムを回収する段階は、
前記第2ろ液または前記固体状の炭酸リチウムを洗浄した洗浄ろ液にリン供給物質を投入し、リン酸リチウムの形態でリチウムを回収する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の水酸化リチウムの製造方法。 - 前記第1ろ液中のリチウムを回収する段階または前記水酸化リチウムを洗浄した洗浄ろ液中のリチウムを回収する段階は、
前記第1ろ液または前記洗浄ろ液にリン供給物質を投入し、リン酸リチウムの形態でリチウムを回収する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載の水酸化リチウムの製造方法。
