Description
上記透明物品において、前記凹凸面は、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以上であることが好ましい。なお、フィルタリングなしに測定とは、ローパスフィルタやハイパスフィルタ等のフィルタを使用せずに測定することを意味する。
上記透明物品において、前記凹凸面は、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以下であり、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが50nm未満であることが好ましい。
図1に示すように、透明物品10は、板状をなす透光性の透明基材11を備えている。透明基材11の厚さは、例えば、0.1~5mmである。透明基材11の材質としては、例えば、ガラス、及び樹脂が挙げられる。透明基材11の材質は、ガラスであることが好ましく、ガラスとしては、例えば、無アルカリガラス、アルミノシリケートガラス、ソーダライム等の公知のガラスを用いることができる。また、化学強化ガラス等の強化ガラスやLAS系結晶化ガラス等の結晶化ガラスを用いることができる。これらのなかでも、アルミノシリケートガラスを用いること、特に、質量%で、SiO2:50~80%、Al2O3:5~25%、B2O3:0~15%、Na2O:1~20%、K2O:0~10%を含有する化学強化ガラスを用いることが好ましい。また、樹脂としては、例えば、ポリメタクリル酸メチル、ポリカーボネート、エポキシ樹脂が挙げられる。
(1)透明物品10は、透明基材11と、透明基材11の一方の面に設けられた粗面状の凹凸面12aとを備える。凹凸面12aは、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSq(Sq[≧20μm])が50nm以下である。
Sq[≧20μm]が50nm以下である凹凸面12aのなかでも、Sq[≧20μm]が26nm以下である凹凸面12aは、Sq[≧20μm]が26nmを超える凹凸面12aと比較してスパークルが顕著に抑えられる。したがって、凹凸面12aのスパークルが更に抑制された透明物品となる。
・透明物品10は、透明基材11及び凹凸層12に加えて、反射防止層や防汚層等のその他の層を有するものであってもよい。
次に、上記実施形態及び変更例から把握できる技術的思想について記載する。
(イ)前記凹凸面は、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以下である前記透明物品。
(C)前記凹凸面は、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以上であることを特徴とする前記(A)又は前記(B)に記載の透明物品。
(E)前記凹凸面は、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以下であり、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが50nm未満であることを特徴とする前記(A)~前記(D)のいずれか一項に記載の透明物品。
(試験例1~16)
表面粗さSqの異なる凹凸面を有する試験例1~16の透明物品を作製した。
ISO25178に準拠して、各試験例の透明物品における凹凸面の表面粗さSqを測定した。走査型白色干渉顕微鏡(株式会社菱化システム製:VertScan)を用いて透明物品の凹凸面の三次元データを測定した。測定条件は以下のとおりである。
フィルタ:530whiteフィルタ
対物レンズ:20倍の対物レンズ
測定領域:316.77μm×237.72μm
解像度:640ピクセル×480ピクセル
次に、測定した三次元データを解析ソフトVS-Viewerにて1次面補正し、粗さデータを得て、そこから表面粗さSqを算出した。その結果を表3及び表4に示す。表3及び表4の「All」欄に示す表面粗さSqは、得られた粗さデータからフィルタリングなしに算出した表面粗さSqである。「≧20μm」欄に示す表面粗さSqは、VS-ViewerのFFT2機能のローパスフィルタを使用し、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で算出した表面粗さSqである。「≧40μm」欄に示す表面粗さSqは、FFT2機能のローパスフィルタを使用し、40μm以上の横方向の空間周期で算出した表面粗さSqである。「≦20μm」欄に示す表面粗さSqは、VS-ViewerのFFT2機能のハイパスフィルタを使用し、20μm以下の横方向の空間周期で算出した表面粗さSqである。
各試験例の透明物品における凹凸面のスパークル値を測定した。その結果を表3及び表4の「スパークル値」欄に示す。
図2に示すように、面光源20の上に、パターンマスク21を配置するとともに、パターンマスク21の上に、凹凸面12aの反対側に位置する面がパターンマスク21側を向くようにして透明物品10を配置した。また、透明物品10の凹凸面12a側に、許容錯乱円径を53μmに設定した光検出器22を配置した。
(スパークルの官能評価)
518ppiの解像度の表示装置(ファーウェイ社製スマートフォン:H1512)の表示面に、凹凸面が形成されている側を上側にして各試験例の透明物品を配置した。10人のパネラーに、各試験例の透明物品を通した表示装置の映像を観察させて、ぎらつきを感じるか否かを評価させた。その結果を表3及び表4の「官能評価」欄に示す。なお、「官能評価」欄においては、ぎらつきを感じたと評価した人数が1人以下のものを「◎」、2人以上3人以下のものを「○」、4人以上8人以下のものを「△」、9人以上のものを「×」で示している。
JIS Z8741(1997)に準拠して、各試験例の透明物品における凹凸面の入射角60°におけるグロス値を測定した。なお、グロス値は、裏面(凹凸面と反対側の面)からの反射光も含めて測定した値である。その結果を表3及び表4の「グロス値」欄に示す。
Claims (6)
- 透明基材と、前記透明基材における少なくとも一方の面に設けられた粗面状の凹凸面とを備える透明物品であって、
前記凹凸面は、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以下であり、
40μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqと、20μm以下の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqとの比(Sq[≧40μm]/Sq[≦20μm])が0.40以下であることを特徴とする透明物品。 - 前記凹凸面は、20μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqが5nm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の透明物品。
- 前記凹凸面は、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが26nm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の透明物品。
- 前記凹凸面は、フィルタリングなしに測定された表面粗さSqが50nm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の透明物品。
- 40μm以上の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqと、20μm以下の横方向の空間周期で測定された表面粗さSqとの比(Sq[≧40μm]/Sq[≦20μm])が0.30以下であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の透明物品。
- 前記凹凸面は、SiO2、Al2O3、ZrO2、TiO2から選ばれる少なくとも一種を含有する凹凸層により構成されることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の透明物品。
