Description
このようなハイブリット車両のエンジンルーム内には、モータやエンジン、該エンジンが稼働することによって発生する駆動力を電気エネルギに変換するジェネレータ及び交流、直流の変換をするインバータ等、複数の装置が配設されている。
このようなレイアウトの課題を解決するべく、モータの車両左右方向側面に設けられた端子台に高電圧ケーブルを接続することが考えられる(特許文献1)。
本発明はこのような課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、車両の衝突時にモータ及びインバータの端子台(第1端子台、第2端子台)が破損することを抑制することができる車両の駆動ユニットを提供することにある。
図1を参照すると、車両1の概略斜視図が示されている。
車両1は、駆動輪3、バッテリパック(走行用バッテリ)5及び駆動ユニット7を備えた所謂ハイブリット車両である。この車両は、車体2の車両前後方向中央下側に配設されたバッテリパック5から電力を供給された駆動ユニット7が駆動力を発生させることで駆動輪3を駆動して走行することが可能に構成されている。
図2及び図3を参照すると、エンジンルーム10の上面図が示されており、図4を参照すると、エンジンルーム10の前面図が示されている。
駆動ユニット7は、エンジン(内燃機関)21、トランスアクスル(電動ユニット)23、減速機(変速機)24、ドライブシャフト25、インバータ27及び電動ブースタ(制動力付加装置)29を備えている。この駆動ユニット7のうち、エンジン21及びトランスアクスル23は、例えばエンジン21の上端右側に設けられた第1マウント7a、トランスアクスル23の上端左側に設けられた第2マウント7b及びエンジン21の下端後側に設けられた第3マウント7cを介して車体2に揺動可能に取り付けられている。エンジン21は、図示しない燃料タンクに貯留される燃料を燃焼して稼働する内燃機関である。このエンジン21は、稼働することでアウトプットシャフト21a(後述する図5参照)を駆動させることが可能である。トランスアクスル23は、エンジン21の左側の接合面(接合部)23aに固定された電動ユニットであり、ジェネレータ(第1電動機)31及びモータ(第2電動機)33を有している。
直流用回路53は、インバータ27の上部における段差部51より後側に内設される回路である。
交流端子台55は、インバータ27の上部右側の段差部51の左側面に配設される端子台である。この交流端子台55には、第1ハーネス41の一端41a及び第2ハーネス42の一端42aが交流端子台55から右方に延びるように接続される。
図7を参照すると、トランスアクスル23、減速機24及びインバータ27の左側面図が示されている。また、図8を参照すると、トランスアクスル23及び減速機24の前面図が示されている。ジェネレータ31の上端31aには第1端子台61が、モータ33の前端33aには第2端子台62が、それぞれ設けられている。第1端子台61は、第1ハーネス41の他端41bが電気的に接続される端子台であり、ジェネレータ31とインバータ27とで第1ハーネス41を介して通電可能に構成されている。第2端子台62は、第2ハーネス42の他端42bが電気的に接続される端子台であり、モータ33とインバータ27とで第2ハーネス42を介して通電可能に構成されている。
第3ハーネス43及び第4ハーネス44は、直流電流を通電させるハーネスである。したがって、ジェネレータ31やモータ33によって発電された交流電流を直流に変換してから第3ハーネス43及び第4ハーネス44に供給する必要がある。ゆえに、インバータ27における直流端子台57の後側に直流用回路53を配設することで段差部51を形成し、インバータ27、各ハーネス等を総合的に鑑みて小型化することや、車両衝突時における第3ハーネス43の変形や破損を抑制することができ、車両保護性を向上させることができる。
そして、エンジン21とトランスアクスル23との間に配設される減速機24を備え、第1ハーネス41は、インバータ27から車両左右方向のエンジン21側に向かって延びつつ下方に延びてジェネレータ31の第1端子台61に接続され、第2ハーネス42は、インバータ27から車両左右方向のエンジン21側に向かって延びつつ下方に延びてモータ33の第2端子台62に接続され、第1ハーネス41及び第2ハーネス42は、減速機24とエンジン21との接合面23aより車両左右方向で視てトランスアクスル23側に位置する。
そして、車両1を制動させる制動装置3aと、制動装置3aの作動に要する力を付加する電動ブースタ29と、を備え、電動ブースタ29は、トランスアクスル23の車両前後方向後側及び上下方向上側に位置し、インバータ27は、車両前後方向で視て後端の上下方向下部が、電動ブースタ29の車両上下方向中央より上側及び前後方向前側に位置するよう前傾されるので、車両1が前突した際にインバータ27と電動ブースタ29とが接触することを抑制することや、インバータ27と電動ブースタ29とが接触したとしても電動ブースタ29に加わる衝撃を軽減することができる。
特に、ラジエータ21cは、上端21dがインバータ27の前方に位置するとともに、下端21eが左右一対のサスクロスメンバ17の前端に固定されるので、例えば車両1の前突によりラジエータ21cが後方に移動する際、ラジエータ21cの上端21dがインバータ27に支持され、下端21eが左右一対のサスクロスメンバ17に支持されるので、所定の空間Aにラジエータ21cが入り込むことを良好に抑制することができる。
例えば、本実施形態では、モータ33をジェネレータ31の後側かつ上側に位置させるようにしたが、ジェネレータ31とモータ33との位置を逆にする、換言すると、ジェネレータ31をモータ33の後側かつ上側に位置させるようにしてもよい。
また、本実施形態では、第1ハーネス41及び第2ハーネス42を車両前後方向後方に撓ませるようにしたが、前方に撓ませるようにしてもよく、各装置等の位置関係から適宜変更するようにしてもよい。
本発明の第9実施態様においては、液体を貯留する容器をインバータ27の後方に配置しておくことで、該容器をクッションのように作用させ、インバータの破損を防止することができる。

- 車両のエンジンルーム内に配設される内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関の駆動により発電する第1電動機及び前記車両の走行用バッテリから供給される電力により駆動する第2電動機を有し、前記内燃機関の車両左右方向一方に配設される電動ユニットと、
前記電動ユニットの上方に配設されるインバータと、
前記インバータと前記第1電動機の第1端子台とを電気的に接続する第1ハーネスと、
前記インバータと前記第2電動機の第2端子台とを電気的に接続する第2ハーネスと、
を備え、
前記第1電動機及び前記第2電動機は、車両前後方向に配設されるとともに、前記第1電動機及び前記第2電動機のうち前後方向前側に配設される一方の電動機に対して前後方向後側に配設される他方の電動機が上下方向上側にオフセットして配設され、
前記電動ユニットは、前記一方の電動機の上方かつ前端より後方の領域、及び前記他方の電動機の前方かつ上端より下方の領域で形成された所定の空間を有し、
