Description
本実施形態の導電性組成物には、主成分としてアクリル樹脂が含まれる。ここで言うアクリル樹脂とは、アクリロイル基又はメタクリロイル基を1つ以上有する化合物を重合反応させて得られる高分子化合物を指す。本実施形態において、前記アクリル樹脂はバインダーとしての役割を果たし、組成物の硬化物に伸張性を付与する。本実施形態において「伸張性がある」とは、破断するまでの伸長率が5.0%以上であり、好ましくは10%以上、より好ましくは25%以上、さらに好ましくは50%、最も好ましくは100%以上であることをさす。また、25℃室温における引張弾性率が0.5MPa~0.5GPa、好ましくは1MPa~300MPa、より好ましくは5MPa~100MPaである。一方、基材の伸縮性について、特に上限を設ける必要はないが、必要以上に伸張した場合、もとの形状を損なうという観点から、500%を超えないことが好ましい。本実施形態における伸長率は、実施例において破断伸び率[%]で示される。
本実施形態において、前記アクリル樹脂は、エポキシ基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合単位(A)を含有する。この重合単位(A)は本実施形態のアクリル樹脂に架橋点を付与し、硬化可能とする。また、アクリル樹脂がエポキシ基を有することによって、加熱硬化後の硬化物における耐熱性が向上する。
本実施形態において、前記アクリル樹脂は、さらにイソボルニル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合単位(B)を含有する。イソボニル基を持つこの重合単位(B)成分を含んでいることにより、上述したように、導電性および伸張性に優れ、かつ、繰り返し伸縮を行ったとしても抵抗値が大きく変動することがないため、電気抵抗の安定性に優れた導電性組成物が得られる。より具体的には、上述の組成物に含まれるアクリル樹脂がイソボニル基を持つことで、その構造から立体障害の効果を付与し、伸縮時の残留歪みを軽減することができると考えられる。その結果、繰り返し伸縮を行ったとしても抵抗値が大きく変動することがないため、電気抵抗の安定性に優れた導電性組成物となる。
本実施形態において、前記アクリル樹脂はニトリル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合成分(C)をさらに含んでいてもよい。このようにニトリル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートをさらに含むことによって、ニトリル基同士が水素結合するため、組成物が柔らかくなりすぎることを防ぐことができ、また、耐熱性もより向上すると考えられる。
本実施形態の導電性組成物は、導電性粉末を含むことによって、導電性を備え、十分に低抵抗の配線材料等としても使用できる。(以下、導電性粉末を導電性フィラーと示す場合もある。)
本実施形態で使用できる硬化剤としては、エポキシの硬化剤として働くものであれば、特に制限はない。具体的には、例えば、フェノール樹脂、アミン系化合物、酸無水物、イミダゾール系化合物、スルフィド樹脂、ジシアンジアミド、メルカプト系化合物、オニウム塩、過酸化物などが例として挙げられる。また、光・紫外線硬化剤、熱カチオン硬化剤なども使用できる。これらは、状況に応じて、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。なお、硬化剤(D)の添加量はエポキシ当量に合わせて適宜設定する。
本実施形態で使用可能な硬化促進剤としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、イミダゾール類及びその誘導体、有機リン系化合物、オクタン酸亜鉛等の金属石鹸類、第二級アミン類、第三級アミン類、第四級アンモニウム塩等を用いることができる。これらは、状況に応じて、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本実施形態の導電性組成物には、導電性粉末と樹脂の分散安定性を向上させる目的で(F)分散剤をさらに添加することが好ましい。分散剤として効果が認められればどのような分散剤でも特に限定はされないが、例えば、酸基を含む共重合物、顔料親和性ブロック共重合物、リン酸エステル系化合物、ポリエーテルリン酸エステル系化合物、脂肪酸エステル系化合物、アルキレンオキサイド共重合物、変性ポリエーテル重合物、脂肪酸誘導体、ウレタンポリマー等が挙げられる。市販の分散剤としては、ビックケミー社製DISPERBYKシリーズ;日本ルーブリゾール社製SOLSPERSEシリーズ;BASF社製ソカラン、タモール、Efkaシリーズ;エレメンティス社製Nuosperseシリーズ;楠本化成社製ディスパロンシリーズ;共栄社化学社製フローレンシリーズ;味の素ファインテクノ社製アジスパーシリーズ等が挙げられる。これらは、状況に応じて、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。その含有量は、前記導電性組成物に含まれる前記導電性粉末対し、0.01~10質量%となるように使用することが好ましい。
本実施形態の組成物には、導電性粉末の分散安定性と適正な印刷を行うためのチキソ性を付与するために非導電性粉末を添加してもよい。それにより、本実施形態においてバラつきの少ない高い印刷品質を有する導電パターンを得ることができる。また、組成物に適度な硬度を付与し、伸張させた後の復元性(戻り)をより良好とすることができる。本実施形態で使用可能な非導電性粉末としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、シリカ、アルミナ、酸化チタン、チタン酸バリウム、チタン酸マグネシウム、チタン酸カルシウム、チタン酸ストロンチウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化スズ、ケイ砂、クレー、雲母、ケイ灰石、ケイソウ土、酸化クロム、酸化セリウム、ペンガラ、三酸化アンチモン、酸化マグネシウム、酸化ジルコニウム、硫酸バリウム、炭酸バリウム、炭酸カルシウム、炭化ケイ素、窒化ケイ素等が挙げられる。これらは、状況に応じて、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。非導電性粉末(G)を添加する場合、その含有量は、前記導電性組成物に含まれる前記アクリル樹脂に対し、0.1~10質量%となるように使用することが好ましい。
本組成物は、希釈溶剤を加えてペースト状又はワニス状にして使用できる。即ち本実施形態において印刷時の作業性やポットライフを制御する目的で希釈溶剤を更に用いることが好ましい。希釈用剤としては、例えば、炭化水素系、ケトン系、エステル系、エーテル系、グリコール系、グリコールエステル系、グリコールエーテル系、グライム系などの有機溶剤を用いても良くこれらは1種類でも2種類以上を併用しても良い。
本実施形態の導電性組成物の調製方法については特に限定はなく、例えば、上述した樹脂成分と導電性粉末と、必要に応じて硬化剤や分散剤等と、溶媒とを均一になるように混合・撹拌させて本実施形態の導電性組成物を得ることができる。混合・攪拌の方法については特に限定はなく、自転―公転式ミキサーや3本ロールミル等の高せん断分散装置が好ましく用いられる。さらに真空脱泡を行ってもよい。
本実施形態の導電性組成物は、硬化物にして繰り返し伸縮させても導電性が失われないだけではなく、変形による抵抗変化が小さいため、本実施形態の導電性組成物の硬化物である成形体は、エレクトロニクス用途に用いたり、様々な用途において各種電子部品の材料として用いることができる。具体的には、例えば、ストレッチャブルな電極、配線回路としてディスプレイ、折り曲げ可能な電子ペーパー、タッチパネル、タッチセンサ、太陽電池等に好適に用いることができる。
本実施形態の導電性樹脂組成物を、例えば、フィルムや織物といった基材上に塗布または印刷することによって、導電性樹脂組成物の塗膜を形成し、所望の導電パターンまたは導電膜などを形成することができる。本発明には、そのような導電パターンまたは導電膜を有する電子回路部材も包含される。
(アクリル樹脂)
イソボルニルアクリレート、アクリロニトリル、グリシジルメタクリレートおよび下記式(1)で表されるアクリルモノマーからなるアクリル樹脂をエチルカルビトールで溶解・希釈したもの(ナガセケムテックス社製「PMS-14-56」、固形分比率30.0質量%)を用いた。
(導電性粉末)
・銀粉(福田金属箔粉工業株式会社製「Ag-XF-301K」)
・カーボンブラック(ライオン・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製「ECP200L」)
(硬化促進剤)
・イミダゾール系硬化促進剤(四国化成製「2E4MZ」、2エチル4メチルイミダゾール)
(分散剤)
・湿潤分散剤(ビックケミージャパン株式会社製「DISPERBYK-2155」)
・カーボンブラック分散剤(ビックケミージャパン株式会社製「BYK-9076」)
(非導電性粉末)
・微粉末シリカ(日本アエロジル社製、「RX200」)
実施例および比較例で使用する樹脂は、表1に示す配合組成(質量部)で、樹脂1~14とした。なお、グリシジルメタクリレートについては、アクリレート全量におけるエポキシ当量が表に示す値となるように添加した(いずれも0.1質量%未満)。
表2に示す配合組成(質量部)を、組成物の固形分がおよそ70質量%になるように溶剤(ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテルアセテート)に添加して、自転-公転式ミキサー(THINKY社「ARV-310」、2000rpm-3分)で撹拌することによって各成分を均一に混合し、次いで2.6kPaになるように設定し、1分間攪拌することで脱泡を行い、実施例1~16および比較例1~4の導電性組成物を調製した。
(体積抵抗値)
上記で得られた各実施例および比較例の導電性樹脂組成物を、PET基材(PET-O2-BU、三井化学東セロ社製)上に、アプリケータ(標準膜厚200μm、TP技研社製)で塗布し、電気オーブンにて100℃10分、及び170℃で60分加熱した。

上記で得られた各実施例および比較例の導電性樹脂組成物をウレタンフィルム(ST-604、BEMIS社製)にスクリーン版を用いて幅1mm、長さ13mmの細線を印刷し、電気オーブンにて100℃10分、及び170℃で60分加熱した。

上記で得られた各実施例および比較例の導電性樹脂組成物をポリイミドフィルム(ユーピレックスS、宇部興産社製)にスクリーン版を用いて幅1mm、長さ13mmの細線を印刷し、電気オーブンにて100℃10分、及び170℃で60分加熱した。

以上の評価試験結果を表3にまとめる。
以上の結果より、本発明に係る導電性組成物は、弾性率に優れ、大きく伸張させても破断することがなく、伸張時破断耐性に優れることが示された。そして、伸縮を繰り返した後でも抵抗値が安定していることが確認できた。
Claims (8)
- 少なくともアクリル樹脂と導電性粉末とを含み、
前記アクリル樹脂は、エポキシ基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合単位(A)と、イソボルニル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合単位(B)と、ニトリル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートの重合単位(C)とを含み、
前記重合単位(B)の量は、前記アクリル樹脂100質量部に対して、5.0質量部以上50.0質量部以下であり、
前記重合単位(C)の量は、前記アクリル樹脂100質量部に対して、5.0質量部以上30.0質量部以下である、導電性組成物。 - 前記重合単位(A)の前記アクリル樹脂全量に対するエポキシ当量が400~10000g/eqの範囲である、請求項1に記載の導電性組成物。
- さらに硬化剤(D)を含有する、請求項1又は2に記載の導電性組成物。
- さらに硬化促進剤(E)を含有する、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の導電性組成物。
- さらに分散剤(F)を含有する、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の導電性組成物。
- さらに非導電性粉末(G)を含有する、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の導電性組成物。
- 前記アクリル樹脂と前記導電性粉末の質量比率が30:70~5:95の範囲である、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の導電性組成物。
- 請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の導電性組成物を用いて構成される電子回路部材。
