Claims (4)
- 角形の電池ケースと、捲回電極体と、を備える電池の製造方法であって、
長尺な集電体と合材層とを備える電極であって、長尺方向に沿って交互に第1の面と、第2の面とを、前記第1の面に存在する合材層の平均厚みをA、前記第2の面に存在する合材層の平均厚みをBとしたときに、厚み比B/Aは0.1以下となるように有し、かつ巻き取ったときに第2の面同士が重なるように、前記第2の面の長尺方向の寸法が、巻き取り開始部から巻き取り終了部にかけて漸増している電極を準備する工程と、
前記電極を、セパレータと共に円筒状の軸に巻き取って、前記第1の面同士と前記第2の面同士が重なった円筒状の巻き取り体を形成する工程と、
前記巻き取り体の前記第1の面同士が重なった部分の、外周方向における中央部をプレスすることにより、扁平形状の捲回電極体を得る工程と、
前記捲回電極体を、前記角形の電池ケースに収容する工程と、
前記電池ケース内に非水電解質を注入する工程と、
を包含する、電池の製造方法。 - 前記第2の面に存在する合材層の平均厚みが、0である、請求項1に記載の電池の製造方法。
- 前記巻き取り体の内周側になる前記第2の面の少なくとも一部に、レーザによって合材層を除去する加工を施し、前記巻き取り体の外周側になる前記第2の面の少なくとも一部に、パターン塗工によって合材量を前記第1の面よりも減じる、請求項1または2に記載の電池の製造方法。
- 前記捲回電極体の積層数が、90以上である、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の電池の製造方法。
