Description
含水率(%)=(カールフィッシャー測定水分量/測定前の試料全重量)×100
ベースポリマーに湿気硬化性成分と反応する官能基を有さないポリマーを用いることで、粘着シートを被着体に貼付する前の各段階における、ベースポリマーと湿気硬化性成分との反応を防止して、保存安定性に優れた粘着剤組成物、粘着剤層または粘着シートとすることができる。その結果、かかる粘着シートは被着体の湿潤面に対して良好に貼付でき、また良好な接着力を発現できる。
また、ゴム改質剤のためのポリマーとしては、例えば、1,3-ペンタジエン系ポリマーやポリブテンといった脂肪族系炭化水素樹脂やジシクロペンタジエン系の脂環族系炭化水素樹脂、石油系軟化剤(パラフィン系油、ナフテン系油、芳香族系油)などの低極性のポリマーを用いてもよい。
また、ベースポリマー全体(100重量%)に対する、湿気硬化性成分と反応する官能基を有さないポリマーの含有量は、100重量%であってもよいが、他のポリマーを含有させる場合には、80重量%以下であることが好ましく、60重量%以下であることがより好ましい。また、湿気硬化性成分と反応する官能基を有さないポリマーの含有量は、上述した効果を良好に発揮するためには、30重量%以上であることが好ましく、40重量%以上であることがより好ましい。
ただし、本発明の効果が著しく阻害されない範囲、例えば、ベースポリマー全体100重量%に対する含有割合が1重量%以下であれば、湿気硬化性成分と反応可能な官能基を有するポリマーの含有が許容されうる。
吸水性ポリマーとしては、例えば、ポリアクリル酸類、水溶性セルロース類、ポリビニルアルコール類、ポリエチレンオキサイド類、デンプン類、アルギン酸類、キチン類、ポリスルホン酸類、ポリヒドロキシメタクリレート類、ポリビニルピロリドン類、ポリアクリルアミド類、ポリエチレンイミン類、ポリアリルアミン類、ポリビニルアミン類、無水マレイン酸類、これらの共重合体等が挙げられる。なお、吸水性ポリマーは、1種のみを単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
充填剤としては、例えば、タルク、酸化チタン、酸化カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化チタン、炭酸カルシウム、カーボン、シリカ、クレー、マイカ、硫酸バリウム、ウィスカー、水酸化マグネシウム等の無機充填剤が挙げられる。
充填剤の含有量は、粗面接着性の観点からは、粘着剤組成物の溶媒を除く成分全体に対して、80重量%以下であることが好ましく、70重量%以下であることがより好ましい。
まず、作製直後の粘着シート(粘着剤層)の赤外分光測定から得られるイソシアネート基由来の2275cm-1における吸光度とベースポリマーのメチレン基由来の2250-2255cm-1における吸光度の比を算出する。ここで、吸光度比とは、上記メチレン基由来の吸光度に対する上記イソシアネート基由来の吸光度の比(イソシアネート基由来の吸光度/メチレン基由来の吸光度)である。また、25℃、50%RHの環境下で24時間保存した後の粘着シート(粘着剤層)の赤外分光測定から得られる吸光度比を同様にして算出し、これらの変化率から、湿気硬化性成分(イソシアネート化合物)の維持率を算出する。具体的には、以下の関係式から算出される。

(実施例1)
ベースポリマーとしてのスチレン-イソプレン-スチレンブロック共重合体(SIS)(日本ゼオン株式会社製のクインタックQTC3520)及びイソプレンゴム(クラレ株式会社製のLIR-30)を溶媒としてのトルエンに溶解させた後、この溶液に、湿気硬化性成分としてのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)(BASF社製のバソナットHA2000)、吸水性材料としてのイソブチレン・無水マレイン酸共重合物(クラレトレーディング株式会社製のKIゲル)、粘着付与剤としての液状完全水添ロジンメチルエステル樹脂(丸善石油化学株式会社製のM-HDR)を、粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表1に記載された割合になるように配合して、実施例1の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
湿気硬化性成分を三井化学株式会社製のタケネートD-101E(トリレンジイソシアネート、TDI)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
湿気硬化性成分を三井化学株式会社製のタケネートD-120N(水素添加キシレンジイソシアネート、H6XDI)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例3の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
湿気硬化性成分を三井化学株式会社製のタケネートD-140N(イソホロンジイソシアネート、IPDI)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例4の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
ベースポリマーとしての高分子量のポリイソブチレン重合体(BASF社製のオパノールN80)と低分子量のポリイソブチレン重合体(JXTGエネルギー株式会社製テトラックス5T)、液状ポリブテン(JXTGエネルギー株式会社製HV-300)を溶媒としてのトルエンに溶解させた後、この溶液に、湿気硬化性成分としてのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)(BASF社製のバソナットHA2000)、吸水性材料としてのイソブチレン・無水マレイン酸共重合体(クラレトレーディング株式会社製KIゲル)、粘着付与剤としての石油樹脂(EMGマーケティング合同会社、エスコレッツ1202U)、充填剤としての重質炭酸カルシウム(丸尾カルシウム株式会社製)を粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表2に記載された割合になるように配合して、実施例5の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
実施例5において、吸水性材料として変性アクリル系重合体(株式会社日本触媒社製のアクアリックCS-6S)、湿気硬化性成分としてアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(株式会社カネカ社製のサイリルSAX510)、別のアルコキシシリル基含有ポリマー(株式会社カネカ社製のサイリルSAT145)、及びヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)(BASF社製のバソナットHI2000)を用いるように変更し、また、粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表2に記載された割合になるように配合して、実施例6の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
攪拌機、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、還流冷却器および滴下ロートを備えた反応容器に、モノマー成分としてのアクリル酸ブチル(BA):100重量部と、重合溶媒としてのトルエン:190重量部とを仕込み、窒素ガスを導入しながら2時間撹拌した。このようにして重合系内の酸素を除去した後、重合開始剤として0.3重量部の2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロニトリルを加え、60℃で6時間溶液重合してアクリル酸ブチル(BA)の重合体(アクリル系ポリマー1)の溶液を得た。この溶液に、湿気硬化性成分としてのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)(BASF社製のバソナットHA2000)、吸水性材料としてのクラレトレーディング株式会社製KIゲル、粘着付与剤としての液状完全水添ロジンメチルエステル樹脂(丸善石油化学株式会社製M-HDR)を、粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表2に記載された割合になるように配合して、実施例7の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
攪拌機、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、還流冷却器および滴下ロートを備えた反応容器に、モノマー成分としてのアクリル酸ブチル(BA):100重量部及びアクリル酸(AA):10重量部と、重合溶媒としてのトルエン:190重量部とを仕込み、窒素ガスを導入しながら2時間撹拌した。このようにして重合系内の酸素を除去した後、重合開始剤として0.3重量部の2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロニトリルを加え、60℃で6時間溶液重合して、アクリル酸ブチル(BA):100重量部とアクリル酸(AA):10重量部の共重合体(アクリル系ポリマー溶液2)の溶液を得た。この溶液に、湿気硬化性成分としてのトリレンジイソシアネート(TDI)(東ソー株式会社製のコロネートL)、吸水性材料としてのクラレトレーディング株式会社製KIゲル、粘着付与剤としての液状完全水添ロジンメチルエステル樹脂(丸善石油化学株式会社製M-HDR)を粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表2に記載された割合になるように配合して、比較例1の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
攪拌機、温度計、窒素ガス導入管、還流冷却器および滴下ロートを備えた反応容器に、モノマー成分としてのアクリル酸ブチル(BA):100重量部及びアクリル酸(AA):5重量部と、重合溶媒としてのトルエン:190重量部とを仕込み、窒素ガスを導入しながら2時間撹拌した。このようにして重合系内の酸素を除去した後、重合開始剤として0.3重量部の2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロニトリルを加え、60℃で6時間溶液重合して、アクリル酸ブチル(BA):100重量部とアクリル酸(AA):5重量部の共重合体(アクリル系ポリマー3)を含むアクリル系ポリマー溶液を得た。この溶液に、湿気硬化性成分としてのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)(東ソー株式会社製のコロネートHL)、吸水性材料としてのクラレトレーディング株式会社製KIゲル、粘着付与剤としての液状完全水添ロジンメチルエステル樹脂(丸善石油化学株式会社製M-HDR)を粘着剤組成物中の溶媒を除く成分全量に対する各成分割合が表2に記載された割合になるように配合して、比較例2の粘着剤組成物を作製した。
ベースポリマーの25℃、50%RH保管後の含水率を、以下のようにして測定した。その結果を表1~2に示す。
剥離ライナーとして、片面が剥離処理された剥離面となっているポリエステル製剥離フィルム(商品名「ダイアホイルMRF」、厚さ38μm、三菱ポリエステル株式会社製)を用意した。剥離ライナーの剥離面に、各例に係るベースポリマーの溶液を塗布し、130℃で5分間乾燥させ、厚さ20μmのポリマーシート(ポリマー層)を形成した。上記の剥離ライナー上に形成されたポリマー層の他面を、既に貼り合わせた剥離ライナーと同じ剥離ライナーの剥離面に貼り合わせて、両面が剥離ライナーにより保護されたポリマーシートを作製した。
このようにして作製したポリマーシートの両面から剥離ライナーを剥離した後、25℃、50%RH環境下に24時間保管し、カールフィッシャー水分気化―電量滴定法(JIS K 0113:2005)により測定した。具体的には平沼産業株式会社製の平沼微量水分測定装置AQ-2100を用い、200℃、30分間の加熱気化により生じた水分量を測定し、加熱前の試料重量に対する割合を含水率とした。

厚み100μmのポリマーシート(ポリマー層)の40℃、90%RHにおける透湿度を、以下のようにして測定した。その結果を表1~2に示す。
剥離ライナーとして、片面が剥離処理された剥離面となっているポリエステル製剥離フィルム(商品名「ダイアホイルMRF」、厚さ38μm、三菱ポリエステル株式会社製)を用意した。剥離ライナーの剥離面に、各例に係るベースポリマーの溶液を塗布し、130℃で5分間乾燥させ、厚さ100μmのポリマーシート(ポリマー層)を形成した。上記の剥離ライナー上に形成されたポリマーシートの他面を、厚み25μmのPETフィルム(東レ株式会社製のルミラーS-10、透湿度:24g/m2・24hr)に貼り合わせて、ポリマーシートの片面が剥離ライナーにより保護された、PETフィルム上にポリマーシートが形成された積層フィルムを作製した。
作製した積層フィルムから剥離ライナーを剥離した。つづいて、積層フィルムの透湿度Tについて、株式会社日立ハイテクサイエンス社製のMOCON水蒸気透過率測定装置を用いて、25℃、50%RHの一室から40℃、90%RHの2室への水蒸気透過量を測定することで算出した後、下記の計算式によりポリマーシートのみの透湿度R(g/m2・24hr)を算出した。

各実施例及び比較例の粘着剤組成物について、ベースポリマーの溶液(固形分34%のトルエン溶液)に湿気硬化性成分(イソシアネート)を添加してから1時間後の液粘度上昇を確認することにより、粘着剤組成物の液寿命を以下の評価基準により評価した。これらの結果を表3に示す。

各例について、ベースポリマー100重量部に対し、湿気硬化性成分(イソシアネート)を5部添加して作製したポリマーシート(厚み20μm)を用いて、イソシアネートの反応性を赤外吸収スペクトルで追跡することで、ポリマーシートの開放保存後の湿気硬化性成分の維持率を算出した。その結果を表3に示す。

剥離ライナーとして、片面が剥離処理された剥離面となっているポリエステル製剥離フィルム(商品名「ダイアホイルMRF」、厚さ38μm、三菱ポリエステル株式会社製)を用意した。この剥離ライナーの剥離面に、各例に係る粘着剤組成物を塗布し、80℃で5分間乾燥させたのち、130℃でさらに30分乾燥させ、厚さ300μmの粘着剤層を形成した。上記の剥離ライナー上に形成された粘着剤層の他面を、紙製剥離フィルム(王子エフテックス株式会社製)の剥離面に貼り合わせて、両面が剥離ライナーにより保護された粘着シートを作製した。この粘着シート(粘着剤層)について、以下のようにして、開放保存後の湿気硬化性成分の維持率を算出した。その結果を表3に示す。

上記と同様にして作製された、厚さ300μmの粘着剤層の両面が2枚の剥離ライナーにより保護されている粘着シートを用意した。
この粘着シートを、アルミニウム製の防湿袋に乾燥剤(シリカゲル)とともに7日間保管した後、これを開封した直後の粘着シート(粘着剤層)中の湿気硬化性成分の維持率を、上記同様の手法により算出した。その結果を表3に示す。
剥離ライナーとして、片面が剥離処理された剥離面となっているポリエステル製剥離フィルム(商品名「ダイアホイルMRF」、厚さ38μm、三菱ポリエステル株式会社製)を用意した。この剥離ライナーの剥離面に、各例に係る粘着剤組成物の溶解液を塗布し、80℃で10分間乾燥させたのち、130℃でさらに30分乾燥させ、厚さ300μmの粘着剤層を形成した。上記の剥離ライナー上に形成された粘着剤層の他面を、厚さ25μmの基材フィルムに貼り合わせて、片面粘着シートを作製した。基材フィルムとしては、東レ株式会社製のPETフィルム(樹脂フィルム)、商品名「ルミラーS-10」を使用した。このようにして作製した粘着シートを幅20mm、長さ10cmになるように切断し、後述する接着力測定を行った。なお、作製した粘着シートは、湿気硬化性成分の未反応状態を維持するために、接着力測定の前まで、乾燥剤(シリカゲル)とともにアルミニウム製の防湿袋に封入しておいた。
つづいて、用意したスレート板を水中に浸漬させた状態で、超音波脱気装置(ヤマト科学株式会社製のBRANSON3510)で1時間脱気し、1晩静置して、水中から取り出した。この時点でのスレート板の重量を測定し、「水中に浸漬、脱気後のスレート板の重量」と規定した。
測定した「水中に浸漬前のスレート板の重量」及び「水中に浸漬、脱気後のスレート板の重量」に基づき、以下の式よりスレート板の含水率を算出したところ、25%(重量%)であった。
スレート板の含水率(重量%)=〔{(水中に浸漬、脱気後のスレート板の重量)-(水中に浸漬前のスレート板の重量)}/(水中に浸漬前のスレート板の重量)〕×100
一方、含水率が本発明規定の範囲を超え、かつ、ベースポリマーが湿気硬化性成分と反応する官能基を有するポリマーからなる比較例1~2の粘着剤組成物及び粘着シートは、保存安定性が低く、また、湿潤面に対する接着力も低いものであった。
含水率が高い材料ほどポリマー内に水が保持されるため拡散しにくく、ポリマー外へ放出されにくいため、ポリマー内での湿気硬化性成分の水との反応が促進されうると考えられる。また、湿気硬化性成分と反応しうる極性官能基は親水性が高いことから、それ自身が湿気硬化性成分と反応するだけでなく、水との反応を促進させる一面もあるため、保存安定性の観点から不適切であると考えられる。
Claims (7)
- ベースポリマーと、湿気硬化性成分とを含有する粘着剤組成物であって、
前記ベースポリマーは前記湿気硬化性成分と反応する官能基を有さないポリマーを含み、かつ、前記ベースポリマーの25℃、50%RHで24時間保管後の含水率が0.1重量%以下であり、
前記ベースポリマーは、ポリイソブチレンを含み、
前記粘着剤組成物は吸水性材料をさらに含有し、前記吸水性材料は、吸水性ポリマーである、
前記湿気硬化性成分が未反応状態で含有されている粘着剤組成物。 - 前記ベースポリマーは、厚み100μmの層を形成した際の40℃、90%RHにおける透湿度が25g/m2・24hr以下である請求項1に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記湿気硬化性成分は、被着体と化学結合可能である請求項1又は2に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 前記湿気硬化性成分は、脂肪族イソシアネート又は脂環族イソシアネートである請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の粘着剤組成物。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の粘着剤組成物からなる粘着剤層。
- 請求項5に記載の粘着剤層を備える粘着シート。
- 前記粘着剤層が基材上に形成されている請求項6に記載の粘着シート。
