Claims (7)
- 複数の加工歯が形成された成形面を有して鋼製の工具基材からなる転造ダイスにおいて、
前記工具基材内に窒素が拡散した窒化層が、前記成形面から深さ20~70μmの位置まで設けられ、
前記成形面の表面硬さが1100HV以上であり、
前記加工歯の山頂の前記深さに対する前記加工歯の谷底の前記深さの変化率が30%以内であり、
前記成形面の圧縮残留応力が-1500~-1000MPaであり、
前記窒化層のうち前記成形面からの深さ0.5~5μmの部位に、前記工具基材を酸化したFe3O4を主成分とする酸化被膜が形成されていることを特徴とする転造ダイス。 - (削除)

- 前記酸化被膜の酸化鉄は、Fe3O4のみからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の転造ダイス。
- 複数の加工歯が形成された成形面を有して鋼製の工具基材からなる転造ダイスの製造方法において、
前記成形面にガス窒化処理またはラジカル窒化処理を施し、前記成形面の表面硬さが1100HV以上になると共に、前記成形面からの深さが20~70μmとなるように窒化層を形成する窒化工程と、
前記窒化工程後の前記成形面にショットピーニング処理を施して前記成形面に圧縮残留応力を付与するショットピーニング工程と、を備え、
前記ショットピーニング工程の後、130~160℃のアルカリ性水溶液に前記工具基材を浸漬させて酸化するアルカリ黒色処理によって、前記成形面にFe3O4を主成分とする酸化被膜を形成する酸化工程を備えていることを特徴とする転造ダイスの製造方法。 - (削除)
- 前記ショットピーニング工程および前記酸化工程は、前記酸化工程後の前記成形面の圧縮残留応力が-1500~-1000MPaとなる条件で行われることを特徴とする請求項5記載の転造ダイスの製造方法。
