前記第1ディスプレイの右に配置されている第2ディスプレイを含んでいる第2表示部であって、前記第1ディスプレイと前記第2ディスプレイとが形成する角度が変化するように、前後方向に延びる回転軸線を中心に前記第1表示部に対して回転することができる第2表示部と、
前記第1ディスプレイと前記第2ディスプレイとが形成する前記角度及び前記角度の角速度を取得する角度角速度取得部と、
ユーザが前記第2表示部を前記第1表示部に対して回転させたときに、前記角度角速度取得部が取得した前記角度及び前記角速度に基づいて、前記第1ディスプレイ及び前記第2ディスプレイに表示させる映像の水平方向を上下方向又は左右方向に一致させるのかを決定する制御部と、
を備える。
[電子機器の構成について]
以下に、本発明の一実施形態に係る電子機器の構成について図面を参照しながら説明する。図1は、電子機器10の斜視図である。図2は、電子機器10のブロック図である。
以下に、電子機器10の動作について図面を参照しながら説明する。図3は、従来の電子機器1010が全閉状態から全開状態へと切り替えられたときに表示される映像を示した図である。図4は、電子機器10が全閉状態から全開状態へと切り替えられるときに表示される映像を示した図である。図5は、電子機器10が全閉状態から中間状態へと切り替えられるときに表示される映像を示した図である。中間状態とは、電子機器10において角度θが所定範囲である状態である。すなわち、中間状態とは、電子機器10において、θ1≦θ≦θ2が満たされる状態である。なお、θ1は、例えば、100°である。θ2は、例えば、140°である。以下では、電子機器10が全閉状態から中間状態へと切り替えられる動作を中間動作と定義する。電子機器10が全閉状態から全開状態へと切り替えられる動作を全開動作と定義する。
以上のように構成された電子機器10によれば、折り畳み可能な第1ディスプレイ12a及び第2ディスプレイ14aを備える電子機器10において、使用シーンに適した向きを有する映像を表示できる。より詳細には、制御部18は、ユーザが第2表示部14を第1表示部12に対して回転させたときに、角度角速度取得部20が取得した角度θ及び角速度ωに基づいて、第1ディスプレイ12a及び第2ディスプレイ14aに表示させる映像の水平方向を上下方向又は左右方向に一致させるのかを決定する。これにより、制御部18は、中間動作と全開動作とを識別することができる。従って、制御部18は、中間動作に適した向きを有する映像を第1ディスプレイ12a及び第2ディスプレイ14aに表示させることができると共に、全開動作に適した向きを有する映像を第1ディスプレイ12a及び第2ディスプレイ14aに表示させることができる。以上より、電子機器10によれば、折り畳み可能な第1ディスプレイ12a及び第2ディスプレイ14aを備える電子機器10において、使用シーンに適した向きを有する映像を表示できる。
以下に、第1の変形例に係る電子機器10aについて図面を参照しながら説明する。図8は、第1の変形例に係る電子機器10aのブロック図である。
以下に、第2の変形例に係る電子機器10bについて図面を参照しながら説明する。図9は、第2の変形例に係る電子機器10bのブロック図である。
本発明に係る電子機器は、前記電子機器10,10a,10bに限らず、その要旨の範囲において変更可能である。なお、電子機器10,10a,10bの構成を組み合わせてもよい。

- 第1ディスプレイを含んでいる第1表示部と、
前記第1ディスプレイの右に配置されている第2ディスプレイを含んでいる第2表示部であって、前記第1ディスプレイと前記第2ディスプレイとが形成する角度が変化するように、前後方向に延びる回転軸線を中心に前記第1表示部に対して回転することができる第2表示部と、
前記第1ディスプレイと前記第2ディスプレイとが形成する前記角度及び前記角度の角速度を取得する角度角速度取得部と、
ユーザが前記第2表示部を前記第1表示部に対して回転させたときに、前記角度角速度取得部が取得した前記角度及び前記角速度に基づいて、前記第1ディスプレイ及び前記第2ディスプレイに表示させる映像の水平方向を上下方向又は左右方向に一致させるのかを決定する制御部と、
