Description
ラベル基材11は、例えば熱収縮性を有するシュリンク基材であって、好ましくは無色透明なシュリンクフィルムで構成される。但し、ラベル基材11は、シュリンク基材に限定されず、実質的に熱収縮性を有さない無延伸基材、ストレッチ性、非収縮性基材を有するストレッチ基材等であってもよい。例えば、ラベル10が巻き付けラベルである場合は、ラベル基材11に無延伸フィルムや非収縮性フィルムが適用され、ラベル10がストレッチラベルである場合は、ラベル基材11にストレッチ性を有するストレッチフィルムが適用される。
油性インキ層12は、商品名や絵柄、製造者名、ロゴマーク、商品説明等を表示するための印刷層であって、任意の印刷パターンで形成される。印刷パターンとは、文字や絵柄等のデザイン、及びデザインの配置を意味する。油性インキ層12は、グラビア印刷法、フレキソ印刷法、凸版輪転印刷法、スクリーン印刷法などの従来公知の印刷法により形成できる。有版印刷法は、印刷層の文字や絵柄等に応じて作製された版を用いる印刷法である。例えば、グラビア印刷法には凹版が、フレキソ印刷法、凸版輪転印刷法には凸版が、スクリーン印刷法には孔版がそれぞれ用いられる。
水性インキ層13は、油性インキ層12と同様に、商品名や絵柄、製造者名、ロゴマーク、商品説明等を表示するための印刷層であって、任意の印刷パターンで形成される。また、水性インキ層13は、グラビア印刷法などの従来公知の印刷法により形成できる(下地油性インキ層14及び押え油性インキ層15も同様)。水性インキ層13は、例えば色材及びバインダ樹脂を含み、また各種添加剤を含んでいてもよい。
図6に示すように、下地油性インキ層14は、水性インキ層13を構成する複数の網点20を覆うと共に、各網点20の間を埋めるように形成される。図9に示すように、下地油性インキ層14を設けない場合は、網点20の隙間に押え油性インキ層15が形成され、網点20の一部が押え油性インキ層15によって覆われない状態となるが、下地油性インキ層14を設けることで全ての網点20が押え油性インキ層15に覆われた状態となる。網点20の一部が押え油性インキ層15で覆われない場合、当該一部が透けて領域Z13の見栄えが悪くなるが、下地油性インキ層14を設けることで、このような不具合を防止でき、ラベル上の文字や絵柄や背景色等を綺麗に表現できる。
図6に示すように、押え油性インキ層15は、下地油性インキ層14上に形成されると共に、一部が水性インキ層13上に直接形成されるオーバーコート層である。押え油性インキ層15は、全ての網点20の裏側を覆うように形成されることが好ましい。押え油性インキ層15は、不透明な印刷層であって、当該インキ層が全ての網点20の裏側に重なることで、水性インキ層13が形成された領域の色抜けを防止でき、ラベル上の文字や絵柄や背景色等を綺麗に表現できる。押え油性インキ層15は、例えば色材及びバインダ樹脂を含み、また各種添加剤を含んでいてもよい。
Claims (13)
- ダイン数が40mN/m以下のラベル基材と、
前記ラベル基材上に直接形成され、網点再現率が50~95%である水性インキ層と、
前記水性インキ層を覆って前記ラベル基材上に形成された第1油性インキ層と、
前記水性インキ層及び前記第1油性インキ層を覆って前記ラベル基材上に形成される第2油性インキ層と、
を備えた、ラベル。 - 前記ラベル基材上に直接形成された第3油性インキ層をさらに備え、
前記水性インキ層の一部が前記第3油性インキ層上に形成されている、請求項1に記載のラベル。 - 前記ラベル基材上には、前記第3油性インキ層によって周りが囲まれた窓領域が形成され、
前記水性インキ層は、前記窓領域に形成されると共に、前記窓領域の周囲に位置する前記第3油性インキ層の裏側に重なって形成されている、請求項2に記載のラベル。 - 前記水性インキ層が形成された領域の全ての端縁は、前記第3油性インキ層の裏側に位置している、請求項3に記載のラベル。
- 前記水性インキ層は、マイクロカプセルを含有する、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のラベル。
- 前記水性インキ層は、前記マイクロカプセルとして、示温カプセルを含有する示温印刷層である、請求項5に記載のラベル。
- 前記示温カプセルの平均粒径は、0.1~5μmである、請求項6に記載のラベル。
- 前記第1油性インキ層は、不透明な印刷層又は無色透明な印刷層であり、
前記第2油性インキ層は、不透明な印刷層である、請求項6又は7に記載のラベル。 - 前記第1油性インキ層には、前記第2油性インキ層と同じ色材が含有されている、請求項8に記載のラベル。
- 前記水性インキ層は、当該層の温度が所定温度以下では無色で当該温度を超えると発色するか、又は所定温度以上では無色で当該温度よりも下がると発色し、
前記水性インキ層が発色していない状態では、少なくとも前記第2油性インキ層によってデザインが表現され、
前記水性インキ層が発色した状態では、少なくとも前記第2油性インキ層によって前記水性インキ層の背景色が表現される、請求項8又は9に記載のラベル。 - 前記第1油性インキ層及び前記第2油性インキ層の少なくとも一方は、硬化剤成分を含有する、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のラベル。
- 前記ラベル基材は、熱収縮性フィルムである、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のラベル。
- ダイン数が40mN/m以下のラベル基材を準備する工程と、
溶媒における水分量が90%~100%である水性インキを用いて、網点再現率が50~95%である水性インキ層を前記ラベル基材上に直接形成する工程と、
前記ラベル基材上に前記水性インキ層を覆う第1油性インキ層を形成する工程と、
前記ラベル基材上に前記水性インキ層及び前記第1油性インキ層を覆う第2油性インキ層を形成する工程と、
を含む、ラベルの製造方法。
