Description
Claims (10)
- 複数の発光部が2次元配列されている面発光レーザであって、
前記2次元配列は、複数の発光部が第1の方向に配列された複数の発光部列を有し、
前記複数の発光部列は4列以上の発光部列を含み、該複数の発光部列のうち、相対的に端の近くに位置する任意の発光部列と該任意の発光部列に隣接する発光部列との間隔は、前記相対的に端の近くに位置する任意の発光部列よりも中心に位置する2つの発光部列の間隔よりも小さく、かつ、前記第1の方向と垂直な方向で、前記2次元配列(複数の発光部列)のうち両端に位置する発光部列から中心に向かって等しい距離の対称線から対称となる間隔である面発光レーザ。 - 前記複数の発光部列のうち、最も端に位置する発光部列とその隣の発光部列との間隔は、前記複数の発光部列の任意の2つの発光部列の間隔の中で最も小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 前記複数の発光部列のうち、中央に位置し互いに隣接する2つの発光部列の間隔が、最も大きいことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 前記複数の発光部列のうち、互いに隣接する2つの発光部列の間隔は、前記複数の発光部列の中央から前記端へいくに従って小さくなることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 前記複数の発光部列のそれぞれが有する複数の発光部の間隔は、少なくとも一部において互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 前記2次元配列を、前記第1の方向に延びる仮想線上に正射影したとき、両端に位置する発光部は、前記複数の発光部列のうち端を除く場所に位置する発光部列に含まれることを特徴とする請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 前記2次元配列を、前記第1の方向に延びる仮想線上に正射影したとき、前記複数の発光部は互いに異なる位置にあることを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザ。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザと、
前記面発光レーザからの光の光路上に配置されたレンズと、を備える面発光レーザ装置。 - 請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の面発光レーザと、
前記面発光レーザからの光を偏向させる偏向器と、を備え、
被走査対象を走査する光走査装置。 - 像担持体と、
前記像担持体に対して画像情報が含まれる光を走査する請求項9に記載の光走査装置と、を備える画像形成装置。
