Description
しかしながら、ひまし油由来のポリオールの配合量と、制振性の指標であるタンデルタ(Tanδ)との関連性や、実使用温度領域での制振性との関係については何ら報告されていない。また、特許文献3には制振特性に優れた制振材が開示されているが、その材料は塩素を含有する高分子材料や、有機錫系安定剤であることから、環境面への配慮の観点からの使用制限がある。このような技術状況下、実使用温度領域での制振性に優れ、使用時の利便性の高いポリウレタン樹脂材料が依然として求められている。
(1)ポリオール含有成分(A)とポリイソシアネート(B)とを含んでなる制振材用樹脂組成物であって、
上記ポリオール含有成分(A)はひまし油(A1)を含み、
上記組成物を硬化させたとき、そのTanδのピークトップが0.7以上であり、かつ該ピークトップ時の温度が-10℃以上100℃以下の範囲にある、組成物。
(2)上記ポリオール含有成分(A)100質量部中のひまし油(A1)配合量が50質量部以上である、(1)に記載の組成物。
(3)上記組成物を硬化させたとき、そのピークトップ時の温度が40℃以上95℃以下の範囲にある、(1)または(2)に記載の組成物。
(4)上記ポリイソシアネート(B)が、芳香族ポリイソシアネート、脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、脂環式ポリイソシアネート、およびそれらの変性体からなる群から選択される少なくとも一つのものである、(1)~(3)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(5)上記ポリイソシアネート(B)が、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートまたはそのウレタン変性体もしくはカルボジイミド変性体である、(4)に記載の組成物。
(6)上記ポリオール含有成分(A)が、ひまし油に由来しないポリオール(A2)をさらに含み、該ポリオール(A2)の平均官能基数が2~4でありかつ平均水酸基価が400~600mgKOH/gである、(1)~(5)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(7)上記ポリオール(A2)がポリエーテルポリオールである、(1)~(6)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(8)触媒(C)をさらに含んでなる、(1)~(7)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(9)上記触媒(C)が、アミン触媒および金属触媒から選択される少なくとも一つのものである、(8)に記載の組成物。
(10)架橋剤(D)をさらに含んでなる、(1)~(9)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(11)上記架橋剤(D)が、アミノ基および水酸基から選択される2つ以上の官能基を有する多官能性架橋剤である、(10)に記載の組成物。
(12)上記架橋剤(D)の配合量が、ポリオール含有成分(A)100質量部に対して1~15重量部である、(10)または(11)に記載の組成物。
(13)上記架橋剤(D)が、非アミン系架橋剤とアミン系架橋剤とを含み、非アミン系架橋剤/アミン系架橋剤(質量比)が5~15である、(10)~(12)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(14)塗装材として使用するための、(1)~(13)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(15)車両に使用するための、(1)~(14)のいずれかに記載の組成物。
(16)(1)~(15)のいずれかに記載の組成物を硬化させてなる、制振材。
また、本発明の組成物は、硬化温度が比較的低く常温硬化も可能であることから、制振材の製造の際のエネルギーを大幅に抑制することができる。さらに、本発明の組成物は、自然界由来の再生可能材料であるひまし油を原料として用いることから、環境面からの制限が少なく、工業生産上有利である。
本発明のような特性を有する組成物が、実使用温度領域において顕著な制振性を発揮することは意外な事実である。かかる制振性は、後述する実施例に記載の手法により、Tanδのピークトップを指標として決定することができる。
以下、本発明の組成物を構成する各成分について説明する。
本発明の組成物の構成するポリオール含有成分(A)は、上述の通り、ひまし油を少なくとも含んでなる。
本発明のひまし油(A1)は、非変性のひまし油であることが好ましい。ここで、非変性のひまし油とは、精製以外の処理工程を受けていないひまし油を指す。ひまし油は、12-ヒドロキシオクタデカ-9-エノン酸(リシノール酸)を脂肪酸成分として含有するトリグリセリドを主成分としている。したがって、本発明の好ましい態様によれば、ひまし油は、12-ヒドロキシオクタデカ-9-エノン酸(リシノール酸)のトリグリセリド含有油脂である。

本発明のポリオール含有成分(A)は、ひまし油に由来しないポリオール(A2)をさらに含んでいてもよい。
本発明の組成物の構成するポリイソシアネート(B)は、ポリウレタン樹脂の製造に通常使用されているものが用いられる。このようなポリイソシアネート(B)としては、芳香族ポリイソシアネート、脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、脂環式ポリイソシアネート、これらの変性物(例えば、ウレタン基、カルボジイミド基、アロファネート基、ウレア基、ビューレット基、イソシヌアレート基、またはオキサゾリドン基等含有変性物)およびこれらの2種以上の混合物が挙げられる。
本発明の組成物は、ポリエーテル(A)とポリイソシアネート(B)に加えて、さらに触媒(C)が配合していることが好ましい。かかる触媒(C)を組成物中に配合することは、組成物を塗布した所望の場所でそのまま効率的に制振性ポリウレタン樹脂を生成させる上で有利である。
アミン触媒としては、アミノ基を含み、上記触媒活性を示す任意の1種類以上の化合物を挙げることができる。かかるアミン触媒は、本質的に線状または分岐或いは環式の非芳香族または芳香族であってよい。また、アミン触媒は、第1級アミン、第2級アミンまたは第3級アミンであってもよいが、好ましくは第3級アミンとされる。より具体的には、アミン触媒としては、脂肪族アミン、環状アミン、エーテルジアミン、水酸基含有アミン等が挙げられる。
有機金属触媒の好適な例としては、アルキル置換有機錫触媒(オクチル酸錫、ジブチル錫ジラウレート、ジメチル錫ジラウレート、ジメチル錫ジメルカプチド等)、オクチル酸鉛、ナフテン酸鉛、オクチル酸ビスマス、ネオデカン酸ビスマス、ナフテン酸コバルト、オクチル酸コバルト、アセチルアセトン鉄等が挙げられるが、より好ましくはジメチル錫ジメルカプチドとされる。
本発明の組成物は、制振性ポリウレタン樹脂への良好な物性付与の観点から、架橋剤(D)を含有していてもよい。架橋剤(D)の配合量は、本発明の効果を妨げない限り特に限定されないが、例えば、本発明のポリオール含有成分(A)100質量部に対して、例えば、0~20質量部であり、好ましくは0~15質量部であり、より好ましくは0.1~15質量部であり、さらに好ましくは1~15質量部である。
本発明の組成物には、上記(A)~(D)の他、用途、適用場所等を勘案して、所望により他の成分(E)として、着色剤、難燃剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、導電付与剤、補強材、充填剤等をはじめとする当該技術分野において公知の添加剤をさらに添加してもよい。充填剤としては、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、タルク、クレー、シリカ、ケイ酸カルシウム等の無機充填剤等が挙げられる。
本発明の制振性ポリウレタン樹脂形成用組成物は、上記(A)~(E)を公知手法により混合することにより簡易に製造することができる。上記(A)~(E)の混合順序は特に限定されないが、制振性ポリウレタン樹脂の効率的な製造の観点から、上記ポリオール含有成分(A)、触媒(C)および架橋剤(D)を混合してポリオール混合物(以下、「ポリオール混合物(X)」ともいう)を得、ポリオール混合物(X)とポリイソシアネート(B)とを混合することが好ましい。追加(E)の混合順序は、本発明の効果を妨げない限り特に限定されず、ポリオール混合物(X)((A)(C)(D)の混合物)、ポリイソシアネート(B)または(A)~(D)の混合物に添加することができる。
また、上記反応射出成形を実施する際のモールドの温度は、好ましくは50~80℃である。
本発明の組成物は、硬化させてポリウレタン樹脂化することにより、優れた制振材とすることができる。したがって、本発明の別の態様によれば、本発明の組成物を硬化させてなる、制振材が提供される。
例えば、本発明の硬化した組成物の密度(他の成分(E)を除く樹脂のみの密度として)は、JIS K7222(1999準拠)に従い測定する場合、好ましくは0.9g/cm3~1.3g/cm3であり、より好ましくは0.95g/cm3~1.2g/cm3である。
2液型高圧または低圧スプレー装置を使用する方法も挙げられる。2液型高圧スプレー装置として、米国ガスマー社製H-2000型(ノズルは2液衝突混合型)や、ユニプレ社製ユニプレグ41-2D型(ノズルはスタティックミキサー型)が挙げられる。また、撹拌混合機の先端に魚尾型のアタッチメントを取り付ける場合には、組成物を点ではなく線状で塗布することができる。
ポリオール含有成分(A)として、ひまし油(ポリオール(A1))(工業用一号ヒマシ油、豊国製油製;平均官能基数約2.7、平均水酸基価約160mgKOH/gのポリエステル系ポリオール)を用意した。
次に、ポリオール含有成分(A)100部に対して、架橋剤としてエチレングリコール6.67部とモノエタノールアミン1.11部、アミン触媒としてDabco 2040(Air Products製;1,2-ジメチルイミダゾール)0.22部、錫触媒としてUL-22(モメンティブ製;ジメチル錫ジメルカプチド)0.06部を加え、均一に混合してポリオール混合物(X)を得た。
実施例1の処方のポリオール(A1)の50%をポリエーテルポリオール(ポリオールA2)(住化コベストロウレタン社製;官能価約3および約445~495のOH価を有する、グリセリンおよびプロピレンオキシドを構成単位として含むプロポキシル化トリオール)に置き換え、金属触媒量を0.03重量部に変更する以外、実施例1と同様にして実施例2を得た。
実施例1の処方のエチレングリコール量を13.33重量部に置き換える以外、実施例1と同様にして実施例3を得た。
実施例2の処方のポリオールA2の全量をポリエーテルポリオール(ポリオール(A2))(住化コベストロウレタン社製;官能価約3および約445~495のOH価を有する、グリセリンおよびプロピレンオキシドを構成単位として含むプロポキシル化トリオール)に置き換え、モノエタノールアミン量を0部、エチレングリコール量を7.78部に変更する以外、実施例2と同様にして比較例1を得た。
実施例1、実施例2、実施例3および比較例1について、以下の方法により初期物性を測定した。
アスカー硬度:JIS K6253準拠のタイプA/Dデュロメータを用い、JIS K6253-3に準拠する方法に従い測定を行った。
(株)UBM製Rheogel-E4000を用い、周波数10Hzで-20℃~150℃の温度範囲で毎分5℃の昇温速度で粘弾性を測定し、ピークトップの温度およびピークトップ時のタンデルタ(Tanδ)を測定した。
一方で、比較例1では、Tanδについて0.7以上のピークトップとなる温度は124℃であり、100℃を大きく越えていた。
Claims (2)
- ポリオール含有成分(A)(ただし、多官能リシノレート系ポリオールとポリジエンポリオールとを除く)及び触媒(C)を含み、さらに架橋剤(D)を含んでいてもよいポリオール混合物とポリイソシアネート(B)とを含んでなる、制振材用樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリオール含有成分(A)は、ひまし油(A1)を含み、
(前記ポリイソシアネート(B)のイソシアネート基の当量と、前記ポリオール含有成分(A)、触媒(C)及び架橋剤(D)の合計中の活性水素の当量との比)×100で表わされるイソシアネートインデックスが、70~110であり、
前記組成物を硬化させたとき、そのTanδのピークトップが、0.7以上であり、かつ該ピークトップ時の温度が、-10℃以上100℃以下の範囲にある、組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の組成物を硬化させてなる、制振材。
