・下記の表1に示した組成C1の、ケイ素−ナトリウム−カルシウムタイプの内側ガラスシート(通常の透明クリアガラス)、
・PVBで作製した厚みが0.76mmの標準的なポリマーインサート、
・下記の表1に示した組成C2〜C5の外側ガラスシート、
からなるものであった。
厚み0.55mmの組成C1の内側ガラスシートと、厚み0.76mmの標準的なPVBインサートと、厚み1.1mmの組成C1、C2、C4及びC5の外側ガラスシートとからなる積層ガラスを、圧子押し込み試験(「サルバカン」試験)にかける。結果を図1に示し、この図には、先に説明した圧子押し込み試験により星型の亀裂が最初に出現するビッカース圧子の落下高さを示している。試験した積層グレージングを、外側ガラスシートの組成/ポリマーシートの種類/内側ガラスシートの組成、というようにして記している。よって、積層グレージングC2/PVB/C1は、組成C2のホウケイ酸塩タイプのガラス製の外側シート、PVBインサート、そして組成C1のケイ素−ナトリウム−カルシウムガラス製の内側シート、に相当している。
厚み0.7mmの組成C1の内側ガラスシートと、厚み0.76mmの標準的PVBインサートと、厚み0.7mmの組成C1、C3、C4のガラスシートとからなる積層ガラスを、圧子押し込み試験にかける。試験結果を図2に示す。
本発明の態様としては、以下を挙げることができる:
《態様1》
少なくとも一枚の外側ガラスシートとポリマーシートとを含む、飛散した石に対する耐性のある積層グレージングであって、前記外側ガラスシートが2mm以下の厚みと70×10 −7 K −1 未満の熱膨脹係数とを有することを特徴とする積層グレージング。
《態様2》
前記外側ガラスシートが1.6mm以下の厚みを有することを特徴とする、態様1に記載のグレージング。
《態様3》
前記外側ガラスシートが50×10 −7 K −1 未満の熱膨脹係数を有することを特徴とする、態様1又は2に記載のグレージング。
《態様4》
前記外側ガラスシートがホウケイ酸塩タイプの化学組成を有することを特徴とする、態様1〜3のうちの1つに記載のグレージング。
《態様5》
前記外側ガラスシートが、
SiO 2 75〜85%
Al 2 O 3 2〜3%
B 2 O 3 10〜15%
Na 2 O+K 2 O 3〜7%
を含むことを特徴とする、態様4に記載のグレージング。
《態様6》
前記外側ガラスシートが、

前記ポリマーシートが、ポリウレタン、ポリカーボネート、ポリビニルブチラール(PVB)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)及びエチレン酢酸ビニル(EVA)から選択される熱可塑性材料、又はアイオノマー樹脂の、一層又は複数層を含むことを特徴とする、態様1〜7のうちの1つに記載のグレージング。
《態様9》
少なくとも一枚の内側ガラスシートを更に含み、前記ポリマーシートが二枚のガラスシートの間に位置し、前記内側ガラスシートが1.5mm以下の厚みを有することを特徴とする、態様1〜8のうちの1つに記載のグレージング。
《態様10》
前記内側シートが1.1mm以下、好ましくは1mm未満の厚みを有することを特徴とする、態様9に記載のグレージング。
《態様11》
前記ポリマーシートがPVBの少なくとも一層を含むことを特徴とする、態様10に記載のグレージング。
《態様12》
前記ガラスシートが化学的に又は熱的に強化されていないシートであることを特徴とする、態様1〜11のうちの1つに記載のグレージング。
《態様13》
自動車グレージング、特に自動車のフロントガラス又はサンルーフを構成することを特徴とする、態様1〜12のうちの1つに記載のグレージング。
《態様14》
ヘリコプター用のグレージングを構成することを特徴とする、態様1〜12のいずれか1つに記載のグレージング。
Claims (11)
- 少なくとも一枚の外側ガラスシートと、内側ガラスシートと、これら二枚のガラスシートの間に位置しているポリマーシートとを含む、飛散した石に対する耐性のある積層グレージングであって、
前記外側ガラスシートが2mm以下の厚みと70×10−7K−1未満の熱膨脹係数とを有しており、前記内側ガラスシートが1.1mm以下の厚みを有し、かつ前記外側ガラスシートより薄いこと、
当該グレージングが自動車のフロントガラス又はサンルーフであること、及び
前記外側ガラスシートの熱膨張係数と、前記内側ガラスシートの熱膨張係数との差が、18×10 −7 K −1 超であること
を特徴とする積層グレージング。 - 前記外側ガラスシートが1.6mm以下の厚みを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のグレージング。
- 前記外側ガラスシートが50×10−7K−1未満の熱膨脹係数を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のグレージング。
- 前記外側ガラスシートがホウケイ酸塩タイプの化学組成を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のうちの一項に記載のグレージング。
- 前記外側ガラスシートが、

- 前記ガラスシートが化学的に又は熱的に強化されていないシートであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のうちの一項に記載のグレージング。
- 前記外側ガラスシートの熱膨張係数と、前記内側ガラスシートの熱膨張係数との差が、48×10 −7 K −1 超であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のうちの一項に記載のグレージング。
