Claims (8)
- 先端側から後端側へ向かって軸線に沿って延びる筒状の主体金具と、
前記主体金具の内側に絶縁保持された中心電極と、
前記主体金具に電気的に接続され、前記中心電極と自身の端部との間に火花ギャップを形成する接地電極と、
前記主体金具の先端側において、前記中心電極と前記接地電極の端部とを先端側から覆うと共に、貫通孔が形成されたキャップ部と、を備える点火プラグであって、
前記接地電極の端部の後端よりも先端側の前記キャップ部の内面および前記貫通孔の内面の算術平均粗さは6.3μm以下である点火プラグ。 - 前記キャップ部の前記内面および前記貫通孔の前記内面の算術平均粗さは1.6μm以下である請求項1記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記キャップ部の前記内面および前記貫通孔の前記内面の算術平均粗さは0.8μm以下である請求項1記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記主体金具は、自身の外面の先端側におねじが形成され、前記おねじよりも先端側で前記キャップ部の後端部と溶接されており、
前記主体金具との溶接部を除く前記キャップ部の外面の算術平均粗さは6.3μm以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。 - 前記キャップ部の外面の後端側におねじが形成され、
前記おねじの先端よりも先端側の前記キャップ部の前記外面の算術平均粗さは6.3μm以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。 - 前記キャップ部の前記外面の算術平均粗さは1.6μm以下である請求項4又は5に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記キャップ部の前記外面の算術平均粗さは0.8μm以下である請求項4又は5に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記算術平均粗さは、前記軸線に平行な平面と前記キャップ部の表面との交線上で測定される請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。
