Claims (4)
- 中心電極と、
前記中心電極を外周から絶縁保持する主体金具と、
前記中心電極と自身の一端部との間に火花ギャップを形成する接地電極と、
前記主体金具に接続され、前記中心電極と前記接地電極の一端部とを先端側から覆うと共に、前記接地電極よりも先端側に貫通孔が形成されたキャップ部と、を備える点火プラグであって、
前記キャップ部の内面のうち前記貫通孔の内側開口端よりも先端側の第1領域に、少なくとも1つの段が形成され、
前記段の一つの大きさは、前記内面の周方向における長さが、前記内面の軸線方向における長さよりも長い点火プラグ。 - 中心電極と、
前記中心電極を外周から絶縁保持する主体金具と、
前記中心電極と自身の一端部との間に火花ギャップを形成する接地電極と、
前記主体金具に接続され、前記中心電極と前記接地電極の一端部とを先端側から覆うと共に、前記接地電極よりも先端側に貫通孔が形成されたキャップ部と、を備える点火プラグであって、
前記キャップ部の内面のうち前記貫通孔の内側開口端よりも先端側の第1領域に、少なくとも1つの段が形成され、
前記段は、前記内面の全周に亘って連続している点火プラグ。 - 前記段の一つの大きさは、前記内面の周方向における長さが、前記内面の軸線方向における長さよりも長い請求項2記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記段は、前記キャップ部の前記内面のうち、前記接地電極よりも先端側、且つ、前記内側開口端よりも後端側の第2領域にさらに形成される請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。
