Description
本特許協力条約特許出願は、2016年3月31日に出願された、「Force Sensor in an Input Device」と題する米国非仮特許出願第15/087,306号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その内容はその全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (20)
- 電子デバイスであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに取り付けられ且つ前記電子デバイスの前面の少なくとも一部を形成するカバー層と、
前記ハウジングにより少なくとも部分的に取り囲まれ且つ前記カバー層の下方に配置されたディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイにより表示される画像を含む入力要素と、
前記カバー層の下方及び前記ディスプレイの下方に配置され且つ前記入力要素に適用された力入力を検出するように構成された1以上の力センサの組と、
前記入力要素のために前記カバー層の下方に配置された指紋センサであって、指が前記入力要素上の前記カバー層を押すとき、指の指紋を捕捉するように構成された前記指紋センサと、
を備えた、電子デバイス。 - デバイススタックを更に含み、
前記1以上の力センサの組は前記デバイススタックに少なくとも1つの力センサを含み、前記デバイススタックは前記ディスプレイを含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - フレキシブル回路と、
前記フレキシブル回路と電気的に接合されたコネクタと、
を更に含み、
前記指紋センサは、前記フレキシブル回路と電気的に接合され且つ前記フレキシブル回路を介して前記コネクタと電気的に接合される、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記1以上の力センサの組は、前記指紋センサの下方に配置された少なくとも1つの力センサを含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記1以上の力センサの組は、1以上の静電容量式力センサの組を含む、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記指紋センサは、静電容量式指紋センサを含む、請求項5に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングにより少なくとも部分的に取り囲まれたディスプレイ、及び1以上の力センサの組を含むデバイススタックと、
前記ディスプレイにより表示される画像、及び生体認証センサを含む入力デバイスと、
前記ディスプレイ及び前記生体認証センサの上をおおって配置されたカバー層と、
を備え、
前記1以上の力センサの組において前記ディスプレイの下方に配置された少なくとも1つの力センサは、前記入力デバイスに適用された力の量を測定するように構成され、
前記カバー層の下方に配置された前記生体認証センサは、前記電子デバイスのユーザに関連する生体データを捕捉するように構成されている、電子デバイス。 - 少なくとも1つの前記力センサは、前記入力デバイスの部分を形成する、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記生体認証センサは、前記デバイススタックに配置される、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記生体認証センサは、指紋センサを含む、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記指紋センサは、指が前記入力デバイス上の前記カバー層を押すとき、指の指紋を捕捉するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記1以上の力センサの組は、前記入力デバイスの中心の周りに配置された複数の力センサを含む、請求項7に記載の電子デバイス。
- 少なくとも1つの前記力センサは、前記指紋センサの下方に配置される、請求項10に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイスであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングにより少なくとも部分的に取り囲まれたディスプレイと、
タッチ及び前記ディスプレイに適用された力入力を受信するように構成されたカバー層と、
入力デバイスであって、
前記ディスプレイにより表示される画像と、
前記ディスプレイの下方に配置された1以上の力センサの組と、
前記ディスプレイの下方及び前記1以上の力センサの組の上方に配置された指紋センサであって、指が前記指紋センサ上の前記カバー層を押すとき、指の指紋を捕捉するように構成された、前記指紋センサと、
を含む、入力デバイスと、
を備えた、電子デバイス。 - デバイススタックを更に含み、
前記1以上の力センサの組は前記デバイススタックに少なくとも1つの力センサを含み、前記デバイススタックは前記ディスプレイを含む、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記1以上の力センサの組は、前記指紋センサの下方に配置された少なくとも1つの力センサを含む、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。
- 支持素子を更に含み、
前記1以上の力センサの組における少なくとも1つの力センサは、前記指紋センサと前記支持素子との間に配置される、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記指紋センサは、静電容量式指紋センサを含む、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。
- センター開口を有する適合層を更に含み、
前記指紋センサが、前記センター開口に配置されている、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。 - フレキシブル回路と、
前記フレキシブル回路と電気的に接合されたコネクタと、
を更に含み、
前記指紋センサは、前記フレキシブル回路と電気的に接合され且つ前記フレキシブル回路を介して前記コネクタと電気的に接合される、請求項14に記載の電子デバイス。
