Description
(1)使用時にエアロゾル生成基材を燃焼せずに加熱するよう配置された少なくとも一つの熱源を有するエアロゾル生成装置を用いてエアロゾル生成基材からエアロゾルを生成する方法であって、
エアロゾル生成基材が、実質的に同じ組成物を有する第1の部分と第2の部分とを含み、及び/又は、エアロゾル生成基材が、間が物理的に分離されていない第1の部分と第2の部分とを含み、
当該方法が、エアロゾル生成装置内のエアロゾル生成基材を加熱し、加熱中にエアロゾル生成基材の第1の部分の温度プロファイルが、エアロゾル生成基材の第2の部分の温度プロファイルとは相違するようにするステップを含む、方法
が提供される。
使用時にエアロゾル生成基材の第1の部分を燃焼せずに加熱するように配置された第1の熱源と、
使用時にエアロゾル生成基材の第2の部分を燃焼せずに加熱するように配置された第2の熱源と
を備える。
前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分にそれぞれ対応する第1の電気抵抗式の加熱要素及び第2の電気抵抗式の加熱要素と、
電源と、複数のRTDと、
第1の電気抵抗式の加熱要素及び第2の電気抵抗式の加熱要素に供給される電力を制御するコントローラと
を備えるエアロゾル生成装置において、
コントローラは以下を実行するようにプログラムされた。
・装置がオンに切り換えられたとき、第1の電気抵抗式の加熱要素に電力を供給して、この加熱要素を迅速に240℃の温度に加熱する。そして、この加熱要素が240℃に達したならば、この加熱要素をその温度に保つ。
・装置がオンにされてから75秒後、第2の電気抵抗式の加熱要素に電力を供給して、この加熱要素を160℃の温度に加熱する。そして、この加熱要素が160℃に達したならば、この加熱要素をその温度に保つ。
・装置がオンにされてから135秒後、第2の電気抵抗式の加熱要素に電力を供給して、この加熱要素を240℃の温度に加熱する。そして、この加熱要素が240℃に達したならば、この加熱要素をその温度に保つ。
・装置がオンにされてから145秒後、第1の電気抵抗式の加熱要素を135℃の温度に下げる。
・装置がオンにされてから280秒後、電源を閉じる。
Claims (16)
- エアロゾル生成装置を用いて一つの使用セッションにわたってエアロゾル生成基材からエアロゾルを生成する方法であって、
前記エアロゾル生成装置が、
使用時に前記エアロゾル生成基材の第1の部分を燃焼させずに加熱するように配置された第1の熱源と、
使用時に前記エアロゾル生成基材の第2の部分を燃焼させずに加熱するように配置された第2の熱源と、
を備え、
前記エアロゾル生成基材が、実質的に同じ組成物を有する前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを含み、及び/又は、前記エアロゾル生成基材が、間が物理的に分離されていない前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを含み、
当該方法が、前記エアロゾル生成装置内の前記エアロゾル生成基材を加熱し、加熱中に前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分の温度プロファイルが、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第2の部分の温度プロファイルとは相違するようにするステップを含み、
前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分の各々は、前記使用セッション中に150℃より高い温度に達すると、該使用セッションの残りの間、150℃より高い温度に維持され、
前記使用セッションが開始すると、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分が動作温度に達し、ある継続期間において該動作温度に維持される一方で、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第2の部分の温度が、前記第1の部分の温度よりも低い第1の温度まで上昇し、
前記使用セッションの後続部では、前記第2の部分の温度が所定の第2の温度に上昇し、ある継続期間において該第2の温度に維持され、
前記使用セッションの更なる後続部では、前記第2の部分の温度がある継続期間において所定の第3の温度に上昇し、該第3の温度は動作温度である、方法。 - 前記加熱が少なくとも2分の期間であり、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分及び前記第2の部分のそれぞれの温度が、前記加熱の前記期間の少なくとも半分にわたって100℃を上回る、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の熱源と前記第2の熱源とが独立して制御可能である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の熱源が、前記第2の熱源の前に、前記エアロゾル生成基材を加熱し始める、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成装置が口側端部と遠位端部とを有し、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分が、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第2の部分よりも前記エアロゾル生成装置の前記口側端部の近傍に配置される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の熱源及び前記第2の熱源の各々が前記エアロゾル生成基材を加熱し始めたならば、該熱源が、単一の使用セッションに対応する期間の終わりまで、前記エアロゾル生成基材の加熱を続ける、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成装置が、使用時に前記第1の熱源及び前記第2の熱源の各々と前記エアロゾル生成基材との間に配置された断熱要素又は断熱材を備え、前記断熱要素又は前記断熱材の構成が前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とについて相違する、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成基材がタバコ成分を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成装置がタバコ加熱製品である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成基材が、前記エアロゾル生成基材の60〜90重量%の量のタバコ成分と、前記エアロゾル生成基材の0〜20重量%の量の充填剤と、前記エアロゾル生成基材の10〜20重量%の量のエアロゾル生成剤とを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の熱源及び前記第2の熱源の少なくとも一つの温度が240℃以下である、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成装置が、前記第1の熱源及び前記第2の熱源の少なくとも一つに電力を供給するための電源を備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の熱源及び前記第2の熱源の少なくとも一つが薄膜ヒータである、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル生成装置が、前記エアロゾル生成基材から実質的に一定のパフプロファイルを提供する、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 使用時にエアロゾル生成基材を燃焼させずに加熱するよう配置された第1の加熱ゾーン及び第2の加熱ゾーンを有する加熱チャンバを備えるエアロゾル生成装置であって、
使用時に、
前記第1の加熱ゾーンの加熱プロファイルが前記第2の加熱ゾーンの加熱プロファイルとは相違し、
前記第1の加熱ゾーン及び前記第2の加熱ゾーンの各々が、一つの使用セッション中に150℃より高い温度に達すると、該使用セッションの残りの間、150℃より高い温度に維持され、
前記使用セッションが開始すると、前記第1の加熱ゾーンが、前記エアロゾル生成基材の第1の部分を、該第1の部分が動作温度に達し、ある継続期間において該動作温度に維持される一方で、前記エアロゾル生成基材の第2の部分が、前記第1の部分の温度よりも低い第1の温度に達するように加熱し、
前記使用セッションの後続部では、前記第2の加熱ゾーンが、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第2の部分を、該第2の部分の温度が所定の温度に上昇し、ある継続期間において該所定の温度に維持されるように加熱し、
前記使用セッションの更なる後続部では、前記第2の加熱ゾーンが、前記第2の部分を、前記第2の部分の温度がある継続期間において所定のより高い温度に上昇するように加熱し、該所定のより高い温度は動作温度である、
ように構成されている、エアロゾル生成装置。 - 前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを含むエアロゾル生成基材が、当該エアロゾル生成装置の前記加熱チャンバ内に配置されており、前記第1の加熱ゾーンと前記第2の加熱ゾーンとがそれぞれ、前記エアロゾル生成基材の前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを燃焼させずに加熱するよう配置されている、請求項15に記載のエアロゾル生成装置。
