Description
本発明の他の形態に係る偏光板用粘着フィルムは、非カルボン酸系(メタ)アクリル系共重合体、イソシアネート系硬化剤およびエポキシ系硬化剤を含む偏光板用粘着剤組成物から形成され、85℃における貯蔵弾性率G’(85℃)が0.1〜0.8MPaであり、下記式2で表される抵抗変化率が10%未満である:
本発明に係る偏光板は、前記偏光板用粘着フィルムを含みうる。
本明細書において、“イソシアネート系硬化剤の当量”とは、(粘着剤組成物中のイソシアネート系硬化剤の含量/イソシアネート系硬化剤の分子量)×(イソシアネート系硬化剤1分子当たりのイソシアネート基の個数)を意味する。
偏光板用粘着フィルムは、光学的に透明で光学表示装置に使用できる。具体的に、粘着フィルムは、波長380〜780nmの光に対する光透過度が85%以上であることが好ましく、より具体的に、さらに好ましくは85〜95%である。
また、前記ヒドロキシアミン化合物(II)がさらに水酸基を提供することによって粘着フィルムの耐久性も高めることができる。また、残留するイソシアネート系硬化剤を消尽させ、イソシアネート系硬化剤の副反応による粘着フィルムの経時的な変化を減少させることができる。
(A1)下記製造例1の(メタ)アクリル系共重合体
(A2)下記製造例2の(メタ)アクリル系共重合体
(B)イソシアネート系硬化剤:L−45(TDI(トルエンジイソシアネート)系硬化剤、Soken社)
(C)エポキシ系硬化剤:E−5XM(Soken社)
(D)シランカップリング剤:A−50(Soken社)。
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易なように冷却装置が設けられた1Lの反応器にn−ブチルアクリレート(BA)70重量%、メチルアクリレート(MA)29重量%、および2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(2−HEA)1重量%を含む単量体混合物100重量部を投入した。単量体混合物から酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを1時間導入して反応器の内部を窒素で置換した後、温度を65℃で維持した。単量体混合物を均一に攪拌した後、開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.07重量部を投入して8時間反応させて、重量平均分子量が100万で、酸価が3mgKOH/gのアクリル系共重合体を製造した。
窒素ガスが還流され、温度調節が容易なように冷却装置が設けられた1Lの反応器にn−ブチルアクリレート(BA)70重量%、メチルアクリレート(MA)28重量%、および2−ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート(2−HEA)1重量%、グリシジルメタアクリレート(GMA)1重量%を含む単量体混合物100重量部を投入した。単量体混合物から酸素を除去するために窒素ガスを1時間導入して反応器の内部を窒素で置換した後、温度を65℃で維持した。単量体混合物を均一に攪拌した後、開始剤としてアゾビスイソブチロニトリル(AIBN)0.07重量部を投入して8時間反応させて、重量平均分子量が100万で、酸価が3mgKOH/gのアクリル系共重合体を製造した。
(A1)製造例1のアクリル系共重合体100重量部、
(B)イソシアネート系硬化剤5重量部、
(C)エポキシ系硬化剤0.2重量部、
(D)シランカップリング剤0.1重量部
を混合した。メチルエチルケトン(MEK)を添加して希釈し、30分間攪拌して、粘着剤組成物を製造した。
実施例1において、イソシアネート系硬化剤、エポキシ系硬化剤の含量を下記表1(単位:重量部)のように変更したことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法により粘着フィルムを含む偏光板を製造した。
実施例1において、エポキシ系硬化剤を用いなかったことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法により粘着フィルムを含む偏光板を製造した。
実施例1において、イソシアネート系硬化剤10重量部を用い、エポキシ系硬化剤を用いなかったことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法により粘着フィルムを含む偏光板を製造した。
実施例3において、エポキシ系硬化剤を用いず、かつ、(A)(メタ)アクリル系共重合体として(A2)製造例2の(メタ)アクリル系共重合体を用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同一の方法により粘着フィルムを含む偏光板を製造した。
(4)熟成時間:実施例および比較例の粘着剤組成物に対して、35℃および45%相対湿度の条件下で熟成させながら、押された距離を24時間ごとに測定した。そして、下記式3で表される押された距離の変化率が10%以下となる最初の時間を熟成時間として示した。
*押された距離(creep)(単位:μm):実施例および比較例の粘着シートが貼付された偏光板を35℃および45%相対湿度の恒温恒湿条件下で日付別に熟成させ、横×縦(15mm×120mm)の大きさにサンプルをカットする。そして、無アルカリガラス板に前記サンプルのうち横×縦(15mm×15mm)部分を無アルカリガラス板と粘着フィルムとが合紙されるように付着させ、無アルカリガラス板は固定し、付着していないサンプル部分を2250gfの力で180°方向に1000秒間引っ張ったときの偏光板が押された距離を意味する。
Claims (13)
- 非カルボン酸系(メタ)アクリル系共重合体、イソシアネート系硬化剤およびエポキシ系硬化剤を含む偏光板用粘着剤組成物から形成され、
前記偏光板用粘着剤組成物は、前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体100重量部、前記イソシアネート系硬化剤5重量部以上、前記エポキシ系硬化剤0.1〜2重量部を含み、
85℃における貯蔵弾性率G’(85℃)が、0.1〜0.8MPaであり、下記式1で表される貯蔵弾性率比が3以下であり、
前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体は水酸基を有し、前記粘着剤組成物における前記イソシアネート系硬化剤の当量:(前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体を構成する水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル系単量体の当量+前記エポキシ系硬化剤の当量)の値は、1:0.1〜1:1である、偏光板用粘着フィルム:
(前記式1において、G’(25℃)は、25℃における粘着フィルムの貯蔵弾性率(単位:MPa)であり、G’(85℃)は、85℃における粘着フィルムの弾性率(単位:MPa)である。) - 非カルボン酸系(メタ)アクリル系共重合体、イソシアネート系硬化剤およびエポキシ系硬化剤を含む偏光板用粘着剤組成物から形成され、
前記偏光板用粘着剤組成物は、前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体100重量部、前記イソシアネート系硬化剤5重量部以上、前記エポキシ系硬化剤0.1〜2重量部を含み、
85℃における貯蔵弾性率G’(85℃)が、0.1〜0.8MPaであり、
下記式2で表される抵抗変化率が10%未満であり、
前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体は水酸基を有し、前記粘着剤組成物における前記イソシアネート系硬化剤の当量:(前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体を構成する水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル系単量体の当量+前記エポキシ系硬化剤の当量)の値は、1:0.1〜1:1である、偏光板用粘着フィルム:
(前記式2において、P1は、粘着フィルムの両末端に電極が形成されたサンプルに対して測定した初期抵抗値(単位:Ω)であり、P2は、前記サンプルを60℃および95%相対湿度の環境下に250時間放置した後に測定した抵抗値(単位:Ω)である。) - 前記粘着フィルムは、25℃における貯蔵弾性率G’(25℃)が、0.3MPa以上である、請求項1または2に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- トリアセチルセルロースフィルムからなる2枚の保護フィルムによって偏光子が挟持されてなる偏光板を構成する一方の前記保護フィルムの露出面に前記偏光板用粘着フィルムが付着されてなる耐久性評価用偏光板を、85℃(高温条件)、60℃および95%相対湿度(高温・高湿条件)でそれぞれ500時間放置したときの、下記式4で表される不良発生率がそれぞれ5%以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム:
(前記式4において、Tは、耐久性評価用偏光板の最大対角線長さであり、AおよびBは、それぞれ前記耐久性評価用偏光板の最大対角線の両端起算点から前記対角線中の不良が発生した領域までの長さである。) - 前記(メタ)アクリル系共重合体は、非反応性(メタ)アクリル系単量体95〜99.9重量%、水酸基を有する(メタ)アクリル系単量体0.1〜5重量%を含む単量体混合物の共重合体を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- 前記非反応性(メタ)アクリル系単量体は、置換または非置換のC1〜C20のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル系単量体を含む、請求項5に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- 前記エポキシ系硬化剤は、ビスフェノールAエピクロロヒドリン型エポキシ樹脂、エチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコールジグリシジルエーテル、グリセリンジグリシジルエーテル、グリセリントリグリシジルエーテル、1,6−ヘキサンジオールジグリシジルエーテル、トリメチロールプロパントリグリシジルエーテル、ソルビトールポリグリシジルエーテル、ポリグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル、ペンタエリトリトールポリグリシジルエーテル、ジグリセロールポリグリシジルエーテル、1,3−ビス(N,N−ジグリシジルアミノメチル)ベンゼンおよびN,N,N’,N’−テトラグリシジル−m−キシレンジアミンからなる群から選択される一つ以上を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- 前記偏光板用粘着剤組成物において、前記エポキシ系硬化剤:前記イソシアネート系硬化剤は、1:2〜1:100の重量比で含まれる、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- 前記偏光板用粘着剤組成物は、シランカップリング剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルム。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルムを含む偏光板。
- 光学フィルム、接着層、偏光子および粘着フィルムがこの順に積層されてなり、
前記粘着フィルムは、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の偏光板用粘着フィルムを含む、偏光板。 - 請求項10または11に記載の偏光板を含む光学表示装置。
- 前記光学表示装置は、TN(twisted nematic)モードの液晶を含む液晶表示装置である、請求項12に記載の光学表示装置。
