Claims (19)
- ドリルビット(450)を作動させるための外科用ドリル(50、50a)であって、
ハウジング(52、582)と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されたモータ(60、60a)と、
前記ハウジング内に回転自在に配置され、また、前記モータの前記作動によりロータの回転がもたらされるように前記モータの一部とされるかまたは前記モータに接続される、ロータ(110)であって、向かい合った近位端部および遠位端部を有する、ロータ(110)と、
前記ハウジング内に配置された継手組立体(174、184、186、218)であって、前記ロータの回転に応じてドリルビットが回転するように、生体組織にボアを形成するように構成された前記ドリルビット(450)を前記ロータ(110)に解放可能に結合するように構成された、継手組立体(174、184、186、218)と、
前記ハウジングから前方に延在するように前記ハウジングに摺動可能に取り付けられているプローブ(380)であって、組織に接触して配置されるように適合された遠位端部を有するプローブ(380)と、
前記ドリルビット(450)が組織内に進められるときに、前記ハウジング(52、582)が前記プローブ(380)の前記遠位端部に対して移動した距離を表す信号を生成するために、前記ハウジングに取り付けられた、トランスデューサ組立体(260)と、
を含み、
前記ロータ(110)が、前記ドリルビット(450)の近位セクションおよび前記プローブ(380)の近位セクションを受け入れる寸法となされたボア(117)を有して形成され、
前記継手組立体(174、184、186、218)が、前記ドリルビット(450)が前記モータロータ(110)に結合されるときに、前記ドリルビットの近位セクションが前記ロータの前記近位端部に結合され、また、前記ドリルビットが前記ロータボア(117)を貫通し、また、前記ドリルビットが前記ロータの前記遠位端部から出て前記ドリルビットが当てられる前記組織に向かって前方に延在するように、前記ロータ(110)の前記近位端部に隣接して前記ハウジング内に配置され、
前記プローブが、前記ロータ(110)の前記ボア(117)内で長手方向に移動することができる近位セクションと、前記ドリルビット(450)の遠位端部に隣接して配置されるように前記ロータの前方に延在する遠位セクションと、を有するように前記ハウジング(52、582)に取り付けられる、
外科用ドリル(50、50a)。 - 前記継手組立体が、
前記ハウジング(52、582)内に回転自在に配置されるスピンドル(174)であって、前記ドリルビットが前記スピンドルと一致して回転するように前記ドリルビット(450)を受け入れるように構成された特徴を有し、また、前記ロータの前記作動に応じて回転するように前記ロータに接続される、スピンドル(174)と、
前記ドリルビットを前記スピンドル(174)に解放可能に結合する保持機構(184)と
を含む、請求項1に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。 - 前記ロータ(110)および前記スピンドル(174)が、互いに分かれており、
伝動装置(142)が、前記ロータ(110)と前記スピンドル(174)との間に接続されて、前記ロータの前記回転に応じて前記スピンドルが回転するように、前記ロータの前記回転運動を前記スピンドルに伝達する、
請求項2に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。 - 前記伝動装置(142)が、前記ロータ(110)と前記スピンドル(174)との間に配置され、かつ、前記伝動装置が、前記ドリルビット(450)が貫通する貫通ボア(150、162)を有して形成される、請求項3に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記伝動装置(142)は、前記スピンドルが前記ロータ(110)の回転速度に満たない速度で回転するように、前記スピンドル(174)の回転速度を減じるように構成される、請求項3または4に記載の外科用ドリル。
- 前記プローブが、前記ドリルビット(450)を円周方向に包囲するカニューレ(380)である、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記トランスデューサ組立体(260)が、
前記ハウジング(52、582)に移動可能に取り付けられる可動部材(36)であって、前記プローブ(380)に係合しかつ前記プローブに対する前記ハウジングの運動に応じて移動するように構成された、可動部材(36)と、
前記可動部材の運動に応じて可変信号を生成するように構成された、前記可動部材に接続されたトランスデューサ(360)と
を含む、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。 - 前記可動部材(326)が、前記プローブに対する前記ハウジングの運動に応じて回転するように、前記ハウジングに回転自在に取り付けられる、請求項7に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記プローブ(380)が、歯(386)を有して形成され、
前記可動部材(326)が、前記プローブの前記歯に係合する歯車である、
請求項8に記載の外科用ドリル。 - 前記トランスデューサ(360)が、電位差計である、請求項7、8、または9のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記ハウジング(52、582)に取り付けられるプロセッサ(408)およびディスプレイ(410)をさらに含み、前記プロセッサが、前記トランスデューサ組立体(260)からの前記信号を受信し、かつ、前記信号に基づいて、前記ドリルビット(450)によって形成された前記ボアの前記深さの指標を前記ディスプレイ(410)上に提示させるように構成される、請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記ハウジング(52、582)と前記プローブ(380)との間に延在して、前記プローブの前記遠位端部を前記ハウジングから離すように前方に付勢する力を前記プローブに与える付勢部材(364)をさらに含む、請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記モータ(60、60a)が、巻線(85)を含む電気モータであり、前記ボア(117)を有する前記ロータ(110)が、前記モータ巻線内に配置され、磁石(118)が、前記ロータ(110)に取り付けられ、それにより、前記ロータが前記モータ(60、60a)の前記ロータとして機能する、請求項1から12のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- ドリルビット(450)を作動させるための外科用ドリル(50、50a)であって、
遠位に向けられた面を有して形成されたハウジング(52、582)と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されたモータ(60、60a)と、
前記モータの作動に応じてドリルビットが回転するように、生体組織にボアを形成するように構成された前記ドリルビット(450)を前記モータ(60、60a)に解放可能に接続するように構成された、前記ハウジング内に配置された継手組立体(184、186、218)と、
前記ハウジングから前方に延在するように前記ハウジングに摺動可能に取り付けられているプローブ(380)であって、遠位端部を有し、前記ハウジング(52、582)の内部にブッシュ(316)が存在し、前記ブッシュが、前記プローブが摺動することを可能にすると同時に少なくとも1cmの長さにわたって前記プローブの横方向運動を抑制するように構成された、プローブ(380)と、
前記ドリルビット(450)が組織内に進められるときに、前記ハウジング(52、582)が前記プローブ(380)の前記遠位端部に対して移動した距離を表す信号を生成するために、前記ハウジングに取り付けられた、トランスデューサ組立体(260)と、
を含み、
前記ハウジングが、前記ハウジングの前記遠位に向けられた面に開口部(321)が存在するように形成され、
前記継手組立体(184、186、218)が、ドリルビットが前記ハウジングの前記遠位に向けられた面の前記開口部から前方に延在するように、前記ドリルビットを前記ハウジングに対して保持するように位置決めされ、
前記プローブ(380)が、それを通って前記ドリルビットが前記ハウジングから前方に延在する前記ハウジングの前記遠位に向けられた面の前記開口部(321)から外へ延在するように、前記ハウジングに摺動可能に取り付けられること
を特徴とする、外科用ドリル(50、50a)。 - 前記ブッシュ(316)が、足部(318)および頭部(324)を含み、前記足部(318)および前記頭部(324)が、互いに離間し、かつ、前記プローブの前記横方向運動を抑制するために前記プローブ(380)に接触する、請求項14に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記ドリルビット(450)および前記プローブ(380)が貫通する前記ハウジングの前記開口部が、前記ブッシュ(316)に形成された開口部(321)である、請求項14または15に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記プローブ(380)が、前記ドリルビット(450)から外方に最大で5mm突出する、請求項14から16のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記ドリルビット(450)および前記プローブ(380)が貫通する前記開口部(321)が、前記トランスデューサ組立体(260)に形成された開口部である、請求項14から17のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
- 前記ハウジングが、近位端部を有するバレルを備え、前記継手組立体が、前記バレルの前記近位端部内に前記ドリルビットを保持するように位置決めされる、請求項14から17のいずれか1項に記載の外科用ドリル(50、50a)。
