Description
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関のターボチャージャに設けられたウェストゲートバルブの開度を電動アクチュエータによって制御する制御方法であって、
内燃機関の冷機始動時は始動が完了するまでウェストゲートバルブの開度を全開とする一方、
内燃機関の冷機アイドル時に、点火時期リタードを実行している間、ウェストゲートバルブの開度を、内燃機関の暖機後のアイドル時のウェストゲートバルブの開度よりも小さな中間開度に制御し、
ここで、冷機始動後、始動完了と判定したときに、ウェストゲートバルブの開度を中間開度にするとともに上記点火時期リタードを開始する、ウェストゲートバルブの制御方法。 - 内燃機関の暖機後のアイドル時にウェストゲートバルブを全開に制御する、請求項1に記載のウェストゲートバルブの制御方法。
- アイドル状態において冷却水温が所定の閾値に達したときに、点火時期リタードを終了すると同時に、ウェストゲートバルブの開度を中間開度から全開へと変化させる、請求項1または2に記載のウェストゲートバルブの制御方法。
- 内燃機関と、
ウェストゲートバルブを備えたターボチャージャと、
上記ウェストゲートバルブの開度を制御する電動アクチュエータと、
過給圧を検出する過給圧センサと、
上記内燃機関の温度状態を検出する温度センサと、
上記内燃機関の非アイドル時には上記過給圧センサが検出した過給圧に基づいて上記ウェストゲートバルブの目標開度を出力する一方、アイドル時にはウェストゲートバルブの目標開度を全開とし、かつ内燃機関の冷機始動時は始動が完了するまでウェストゲートバルブの開度を全開とする一方、内燃機関の冷機アイドル時に、点火時期リタードを実行している間、ウェストゲートバルブの目標開度を、内燃機関の暖機後のアイドル時のウェストゲートバルブの開度よりも小さな中間開度として出力する制御部と、
を備え、
上記制御部は、冷機始動後、始動完了と判定したときに、ウェストゲートバルブの開度を中間開度にするとともに上記点火時期リタードを開始する、ウェストゲートバルブの制御装置。
