Description
本出願は、2015年4月20日に出願された米国特許出願第62/150,022号に対する優先権を主張するものであって、その開示内容は、全体が参照により本明細書に援用される。

式中、R1、R2、及びR3は独立して、水素、アルキル、アリール、ヘテロシクロであるか、または、R1及びR2は、それらが結合する炭素と共に互いに結合して、5員または6員の縮合したシクロ、アリール、ヘテロシクロ、または、ヘテロアリール環を形成し、式中、R1、R2、及びR3のうちの少なくとも2つは、水素以外である。

式中、R1、R2、及びR3は独立して、水素、アルキル、アリール、ヘテロシクロであるか、または、R1及びR2は、それらが結合する炭素と共に互いに結合して、5員または6員の縮合したシクロ、アリール、ヘテロシクロ、または、ヘテロアリール環を形成し、式中、R1、R2、及びR3のうちの少なくとも2つは、水素以外である。

式中、X1、X2、及びX3は独立して、−O−、−S−、−N(R4)−、または、−C(H)(R4)−であり、Z1、Z2、Z3、及びZ4は独立して、−O−、−S−、−N(R4)−、または、−C(H)(R4)−であり、R3は、水素、アルキル、アリール、または、ヘテロシクロであり、及び、R4は独立して、水素、アルキル、アリール、または、ヘテロシクロである。
阻害剤を含まないスチレンに0.31mMの抗重合剤溶液を調製して、静的方法を用いてTMHQの抗重合性能を測定した。市販のスチレンに含まれる安定剤、4−tert−ブチルカテコール(TBC)を、アルミナカラムを用いて除去した。0.31mMのTMHQを含む溶液を、新たに脱阻害されたスチレン350gの溶液に、0.0179gを溶解することによって調製した。PTFEスクリューキャップとフルオロエラストマー(FETFE)O−リングとを備えた24個のエースガラス#15ねじ式圧力チューブの各々に、9mlの溶液を充填した。窒素を2分間拡散することによって、溶解した酸素を、溶液から除去した。一旦拡散をしたら、各チューブを直ちに密閉し、そして、当該溶液を窒素ヘッドスペース下に保った。これらの試験管を、120℃に予熱されていた加熱ブロックに入れた。30分後、及び、その後15分毎に、当該ブロックから4本の管を回収し、氷浴内で冷却することによって、重合反応を停止させた。当該冷却したポリマー溶液を、直ちに、トルエンで希釈した。
TMHQ(0.0090g)及びHTEMPO(0.0100g)を脱阻害スチレンに溶解して、0.16mMのTMHQ及び0.16mMのHTEMPO溶液を得た。実施例1の手順を用いて、TMHQとHTEMPOとの組合せでの抗重合活性を測定した。
HTEMPO(0.0199g)を脱阻害スチレンに溶解して、0.33mMの溶液を得た。実施例1の手順を用いて、HTEMPOの抗重合活性を測定した。
スチレンからTBCを除去した直後に、スチレンの9gのアリコートを、上記した圧力チューブの各々に充填した。溶存酸素を除去した後に、実施例1の手順に従って、重合反応及び、ポリマー分析を行った。
Claims (12)
- 不飽和炭素−炭素結合を有する炭化水素を含有する炭化水素生成物の精製、輸送、または、貯蔵の間の重合を阻害する方法であって、前記炭化水素生成物を、有効量の式2または3のヒドロキノン化合物と接触させることを含み、
X1、X2、及びX3は独立して、−O−、−S−、−N(R4)−、または−C(H)(R4)−であり、X1、X2、及びX3の少なくとも1つは−C(H)(R4)−であり、
Z1、Z2、Z3、及びZ4は独立して、−O−、−S−、−N(R4)−、または−C(H)(R4)−であり、Z1、Z2、Z3、及びZ4の少なくとも2つは−C(H)(R4)−であり、
R3は、水素、アルキル、アリール、またはヘテロシクロであり、
R4は独立して、水素、アルキル、アリール、または、ヘテロシクロであり、
前記ヒドロキノン化合物は、不飽和炭素−炭素結合を有する炭化水素の重合を阻害し、前記不飽和炭素−炭素結合を有する炭化水素は、エチレン、プロピレン、アセチレン、スチレン、ブタジエン、またはこれらの組み合わせを含む、方法。 - 前記ヒドロキノン化合物は、前記式(2)の構造を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキノン化合物は、前記式(3)の構造を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- R3が、アルキルである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記不飽和炭素−炭素結合を有する炭化水素が、エチレン、プロピレン、アセチレン、ブタジエン、またはそれらの組合せを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 精製、もしくは貯蔵プロセスの間の前記不飽和炭素−炭素結合を有する炭化水素の重合を阻害する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 一次分画プロセス、プロセスガス圧縮、ブタジエン抽出、プロパン脱水素、ディーゼル及び石油燃料安定化、オレフィンメタセシス、スチレン精製、ヒドロキシ炭化水素精製において、前記不飽和炭素−炭素二重結合を有する炭化水素の重合を阻害するか、もしくは、エチレン性不飽和種を含む樹脂及び組成物の重合を遅延させる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセスが、ブタジエン抽出、または、スチレン精製である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化水素生成物を、式2または3のヒドロキノン化合物と組合せたニトロキシド化合物と接触させることをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ニトロキシド化合物が、2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−メトキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−エトキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−プロポキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−ブトキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、もしくはそれらの組合せである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ニトロキシド化合物が、2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、4−ブトキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシド、もしくはそれらの組合せである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ニトロキシド化合物が、4−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジン−1−オキシドを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
