Description
ポリビニルアルコール系フィルム(クラレ(KURARAY)社)を用意して、25℃の純水溶液で膨潤工程を15秒間経た後、0.2wt%の濃度および25℃のヨウ素溶液で60秒間染着工程を進行させた。以後、ホウ酸1wt%、45℃の溶液で30秒間洗浄工程を経た後、ホウ酸2.5wt%、52℃の溶液で6倍延伸工程を進行させた。延伸後、5wt%のヨウ化カリウム(KI)溶液で補色工程を経た後、60℃のオーブンで5
秒間乾燥させて、12μmの偏光子を製造した。

中和処理するステップを行わないことを除いては、実施例1と同様に偏光部材を製造した。

Claims (14)
- ヨウ素および二色性染料のうちの少なくとも一つ以上が一定の方向に配向されたポリビニルアルコール系偏光子を含む偏光部材を提供するステップと、
前記ポリビニルアルコール系偏光子の一面に印刷法により脱色溶液を接触させて、ポリビニルアルコール系偏光子を部分脱色させるステップと、
前記部分脱色した偏光部材の外観矯正ステップとを含み、
前記部分脱色させるステップは、インクジェットマーキング法またはグラビア印刷法により行われ、
前記部分脱色した偏光部材の外観矯正ステップは、偏光部材を中和溶液に浸漬させる方法で行われ、
前記中和溶液はクエン酸を含み、
前記脱色溶液は、pH11〜14の強塩基溶液であることを特徴とする、局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。 - 前記脱色溶液は、水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)、硫化水素ナトリウム(NaSH)、アジド化ナトリウム(NaN3)、水酸化カリウム(KOH)、硫化水素カリウム(KSH)、およびチオ硫酸カリウム(KS2O3)からなる群より選択された一種以上の脱色剤を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記脱色溶液内の脱色剤の濃度が1重量%〜30重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記脱色溶液は、粘度が1cps〜2000cpsであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記外観矯正ステップの後に、前記偏光部材を洗浄および乾燥するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記洗浄および乾燥するステップにおいて、前記乾燥は、直径が100Φ〜500Φの加熱ロールを用いて行われることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記加熱ロールの温度は、30℃〜150℃であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記洗浄および乾燥するステップにおいて、前記乾燥は、前記偏光部材を乾燥オーブンに通過させる方法を利用することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記外観矯正ステップの後に、前記偏光部材の少なくとも一面に光学層を形成するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記光学層は、保護フィルム、位相差フィルム、輝度向上フィルム、ハードコーティング層、反射防止層、粘着層、接着層、またはこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材の製造方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法により形成された局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材を巻取るステップを含むことを特徴とする、局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材ロールの製造方法。
- 請求項11に記載の製造方法により製造された局地的脱色領域を含む偏光部材のロールから偏光部材を提供するステップと、
前記偏光部材を枚葉型に切断するステップとを含むことを特徴とする、局地的脱色領域を含む枚葉型偏光部材の製造方法。 - 前記切断するステップは、レーザを用いて行われることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む枚葉型偏光部材の製造方法。
- 前記切断するステップは、
偏光部材の脱色領域の位置を認識するステップと、
前記脱色領域の位置に基づいて切断位置を設定するステップと、
レーザを用いて前記切断位置で切断を行うステップとを含むことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の局地的脱色領域を含む枚葉型偏光部材の製造方法。
