Description
SXM)を用い、特定のエネルギーを有したX線(hν)を測定面に照射する。そして、耐食性部材の表面から数μmの深さまでの領域の元素を調べるために、Arイオンを照射し、表面をエッチングで除去する工程と、エッチングにより新しく形成された面をXPS装置で測定する工程とを交互に繰り返す。ここで、測定面から放出された光電子の運動エネルギー(EKIN)を測定し、この光電子が原子に束縛されていた結合エネルギー(EB)を求める(EB=hν−EKIN−φ)。そして、結合エネルギー値は原子固有であることから、結合エネルギー値の同定により、測定面を構成する元素を知ることができる。また、放出された光電子の強度は元素の濃度と比例しているため、XPSで測定することにより、元素の濃度を求めることができる。
Quantera SXM)を用い、特定のエネルギーを有したX線(hν)を測定面に照射した。そして、各試料の表面から2μmの深さまでの領域の元素を調べるために、Arイオンを照射し、表面をエッチングで除去する工程と、エッチングにより新しく形成された面をXPS装置で測定する工程とを交互に繰り返した。そして、測定面から放出された光電子の運動エネルギー(EKIN)を測定し、この光電子が原子に束縛されていた結合エネルギー(EB)を求めた(EB=hν−EKIN−φ)。その結果、試料No.1には、酸素およびアルミニウムのみが確認され、O−Al−C層からなる被覆層を有しないことが分かった。一方、試料No.2〜14には、酸素、アルミニウムおよび炭素が同時に確認され、O−Al−C層からなる被覆層を有することが分かった。
Claims (2)
- 酸化アルミニウム質セラミックスからなる基体を有しており、
該基体は、炭素を含む表面を有し、
該表面における炭素の元素濃度が、25原子%以上55原子%以下であって、
前記表面における炭素の元素濃度をA、前記表面から前記基体側へ6nmの深さにおける炭素の元素濃度をBとしたときの比A/Bが、5以上である、
耐食性部材。 - 前記表面から前記基体側へ6nmの深さにおける炭素の元素濃度をB、前記表面から前記基体側へ10nmの深さにおける炭素の元素濃度をCとしたときの比B/Cが、2以下である請求項1に記載の耐食性部材。
