Claims (20)
- 製造物品の塗装面(18)の上に、層流化した高分子のリボン(16、17)の膜を液圧で押出すためのダイ(10)であって、

前記第1ダイ本体(23)の部品と前記第2ダイ本体(28)の部品との間に配置され、前記第1ダイ本体(23)の部品及び前記第2ダイ本体(28)の部品の前記結合可能面の過半と概ね一致する、薄いシート材料のスペーサ(26)であって、およそ前記リボン(16、17)の所望の幅である幅を持つ下部エッジを取り除いた切欠き部(44)を有するスペーサ(26)とを含み、
前記第1ダイ本体及び前記第2ダイ本体が、前記第1ダイ本体及び前記第2ダイ本体の下部エッジ及びギャラリの溝が整合するように接続され、前記スペーサが前記結合可能面の間で接触して配置され、
前記スペーサの切欠き部が、材料入口から膜形成材料を受け取るための整合した前記ギャラリの溝の間で、開口容積を作るように前記ギャラリの溝(50)に対して設置され、前記スペーサの切欠き部が、所定の速度で、膜形成材料の非分離のリボン(16、17)を液圧で排出することができる、前記ダイ本体の前記下部エッジに沿ったスロット状の材料排出出口(58)を画定し、
前記スペーサの切欠き部(44)及び前記ギャラリの溝(50)によって形成された前記開口容積に、エマルジョン形態で膜形成高分子材料を収容するための材料入口(22)を含み、
前記スペーサの切欠き部(44)が、前記スペーサの切欠き部(44)の両端内側に、押出された前記膜を放出中にわずかに外側に広げさせるように、広がったエッジ(46、48)及び円形角(すみ)部(51)を有し、
前記第1ダイ本体(23)の細長いギャラリの溝が、前記材料入口(22)から分岐脚(34、36)を通じて材料が供給される横脚部で作られており、前記横脚部及び前記分岐脚(34、36)が、全て同一の深さで、前記第1ダイ本体において機械加工されている、ダイ(10)。 - 前記材料入口から前記スペーサの切欠き部(44)及び前記ギャラリの溝(50)によって形成された前記開口容積までの前記材料の流れを急停止及び急開始するための、前記ダイ(10)に支持された遮断弁(30)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のダイ。
- 前記スペーサ(26)が、前記分岐脚(34、36)の大半を覆っている、請求項1に記載のダイ。
- ポリ酢酸ビニル(PVA)のエマルジョンを前記材料入口に供給するための源(60、62)をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のダイ。
- ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)のエマルジョンを前記材料入口に供給するための源をさらに含む、請求項2に記載のダイ。
- 自動車車体部品の仕上げ面に、層流化した剥離可能な高分子の保護膜を液圧で適用するための、請求項1に記載のダイ(10)を含むロボットのシステムであって、前記ダイを運んで、前記ダイを自動車車体部品の塗装面の上で平行移動させるように適合されたプログラム可能なロボット(14)をさらに含む、システム。
- 前記ロボット(14)が、重複ストロークで、かつ、前記高分子の材料が前記ダイから放出される速度と等しい速度で、前記自動車車体部品の塗装面に対して前記ダイ(10)を動かすようにプログラミングされた、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 排出スロットの幅が、約80mm幅のリボン(16、17)を作り出す、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 約12000センチポアズの粘度を持つポリ酢酸ビニルのエマルジョンを、前記材料入口に液圧で提供するための源(60、62)をさらに含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記材料入口から前記ダイ(10)の前記ギャラリ(34、36)までの材料の流れを急開始及び急停止するための、前記ダイに支持された遮断弁(30)をさらに含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダイが温度制御部材をさらに含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダイと、膜の層流化層が堆積した前記自動車車体部品の表面との間の間隔が約15mmである、請求項6に記載のロボットのシステム。
- 自動車の表面を、非噴霧化のエマルジョン化した高分子材料の1つ又は複数のリボンを前記表面の上に液圧押出することによって保護するための方法であって、
a.請求項1に記載のダイ(10)に、空気を含まない非噴霧化形態の高分子系のエマルジョン化した材料を供給する工程、
b.前記高分子のエマルジョンの非噴霧化かつ非分離のリボンが前記ダイから放射して、所定の距離については全幅に発散して、次いで、より狭い幅に収束し始める工程、
c.ロボット(14)を使用して、前記表面からおよそ前記所定の距離で、前記ダイを設置して、放射した前記リボンを、およそ最大幅の点で前記表面に接触させる工程、及び
d.前記ダイ(10)を移動させ、前記表面の上で前記リボンを分布させる工程
を含む方法。 - 前記ダイ(10)が、前記エマルジョン化した高分子材料が前記出口のスロットから放射される速度と等しい速度で、前記表面に対して移動する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- a.赤外線の適用によって又は対流加熱によって、前記表面に適用された前記材料を硬化させる工程、及び、その後、
b.剥離することで硬化した前記材料を除去する工程
をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記材料が、約12000センチポアズの粘度を持つポリ酢酸ビニルの水性エマルジョンである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 複数の重複リボンを、反対方向に交互に前記表面の上で分布させる、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 自動車車体部品のプライマー被覆表面に耐チップコーティングを適用する方法であって、
a.請求項1に記載のダイ(10)に、空気を含まない非噴霧化エマルジョン形態の高分子系の材料を供給して、特定の距離で発散するのが終わり収束し始めたわずかに発散した幅で、前記スロットから前記材料のリボン(16、17)を放射させる工程、
b.ロボット(14)を使用して、前記リボンを発散するのが終わった点で前記表面と接触させる前記表面からの距離に、前記ダイを設置する工程、
c.ロボットを使用して、前記表面に沿ってダイ(10)を移動させて、前記表面に沿って前記リボンを分布させる工程、
を含む方法。 - 少なくとも部分的に湿っている間に、適用された前記リボンの高分子のエマルジョンの上に追加の車体色塗料を適用する工程をさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記材料が、有機溶媒中のポリ塩化ビニルのエマルジョンである、請求項18に記載の方法。
