Claims (7)
- 回路基板の部品搭載面に固定された相手方コネクタ装置が備える相手方絶縁ハウジングとの嵌合状態をとる絶縁ハウジングと、各々がケーブルに接続されるとともに上記相手方コネクタ装置が備える相手方コンタクトに接触接続されるものとされて上記絶縁ハウジングに配列配置される複数のコンタクトと、上記絶縁ハウジングに取り付けられて該絶縁ハウジングを部分的に覆うアウターシェル部材と、を備えて構成され、
上記絶縁ハウジングが、上記複数のコンタクトに夫々接続された複数のケーブルを支持するケーブル支持部が設けられ、該ケーブル支持部に金属板材により形成されたインナーシェル部材が配されたものとされ、
上記アウターシェル部材が、上記絶縁ハウジングにおける上記複数のコンタクトが配列配置された部分を覆うカバー部及び該カバー部に連なるものとされたもとで上記絶縁ハウジングの周囲に沿って伸びて上記相手方コネクタ装置に弾性係合する帯状部と、上記帯状部の端部から屈曲して伸びて自由端部を有した延伸帯状部とを含んで形成され、上記カバー部が該カバー部から伸びて上記インナーシェル部材に接続される連結部を有したものとされ、上記連結部が、上記延伸帯状部に対する位置規制を行う部位に配されることを特徴とするケーブルコネクタ装置。 - 上記アウターシェル部材における延伸帯状部が、上記絶縁ハウジングに設けられた上記ケーブル支持部を挟んで相互対向するものとして一対設けられており、上記カバー部から上記一対の延伸帯状部に夫々対応する一対の連結部が伸びていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
- 上記連結部が、上記カバー部から上記延伸帯状部の外面部に沿って伸びる規制部分と、該規制部分から屈曲可能に伸びて上記延伸帯状部を覆う覆い部分とを有していて、上記覆い部分が上記規制部分から屈曲せしめられて上記インナーシェル部材に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
- 上記絶縁ハウジングに設けられた上記ケーブル支持部が、上記インナーシェル部材が部分的に埋め込まれた第1の部分と、上記インナーシェル部材が部分的に露出する第2の部分とを有しており、上記第1の部分に上記複数のコンタクトにおける上記複数のケーブルが夫々接続される複数の接続部が配され、上記第2の部分が、上記複数のコンタクトの接続部に夫々接続された複数のケーブルを、上記インナーシェル部材における露出した部分によって絶縁部材を介在させることなく支持することを特徴とする請求項1記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
- 上記ケーブル支持部の第1の部分に配された上記複数のコンタクトの接続部が、上記複数のケーブルの中心導体が夫々接続されるものとされ、上記ケーブル支持部の第2の部分が、上記複数のケーブルの外側導体を連結するグラウンドバー部材を介して、上記複数のケーブルを支持することを特徴とする請求項4記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
- 上記ケーブル支持部の第2の部分において露出する上記インナーシェル部材の部分が、上記グラウンドバー部材に固着されることを特徴とする請求項5記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
- 上記複数のケーブルの外側導体を連結するグラウンドバー部材が、上記複数のケーブルの外側導体を挟持して相互対向する一対の部材を成すものとされ、該一対のグラウンドバー部材のうちの一方に上記ケーブル支持部の第2の部分において露出する上記インナーシェル部材の部分が固着され、上記一対のグラウンドバー部材のうちの他方に上記アウターシェル部材における上記カバー部が固着されることを特徴とする請求項6記載のケーブルコネクタ装置。
