Description
本実施の形態では、図1を用いて、本発明の一態様に係る電極の構成について、説明する。
本実施の形態では、図2を用いて、本発明の一態様に係る二次電池の構成について説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る蓄電装置について、図3乃至図12を用いて二次電池を例に挙げて説明する。
図3に、積層体118の構造の一例を示す。図3(A)に、積層体118の斜視図を、図3(B)、図4、図5、図6及び図7に、構成例1の積層体118の側面図を示す。
図8、図9及び図10を用いて、構成例2として、蛇腹型に折り畳んだ構造を有する積層体118について説明する。
図11(A)及び(B)に、正極111、負極115及びセパレータ108を重ねて捲回した構造を有する積層体118の側面図を示す。捲回型とすることにより、積層体118を小さくすることができるため、二次電池を小型化することができる。
次に、図12を用いて、異なる構造を有する積層体118について説明する。
本実施の形態では、図13を用いて、本発明の一態様に係る蓄電装置の構造について、積層型の二次電池を例に挙げて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る蓄電装置の作製方法について、二次電池100の作製方法を例に挙げて、図14乃至図19を用いて説明する。
まず、セパレータ108上に正極111を配置する(図14(A)参照。)。正極111は、実施の形態1に記載の電極であり、正極集電体101の一方の面に正極活物質層102を有し、他方の面に正極摩擦層103を有す。そのため正極111は、図14(A)に示す面には正極活物質層102を有さず、もう一方の面に正極活物質層102を有する。次いで、セパレータ108を図14(A)の点線で示した部分で折り(図14(B)参照。)、セパレータ108で正極111を挟む(図14(C)参照。)。
次に、外装体に用いるフィルムを点線で示した部分で折り曲げ(図15(A))、重なり合った一辺を熱圧着により接合する。図15(B)に外装体110の一辺を熱圧着により接合した部位を、接合部110aとして示す。
次に、1つのユニットを構成する正極111と負極115を重ねあわせて、外装体110で覆う(図15(C))。このとき1つのユニット内では、正極活物質層102と負極活物質層106がセパレータ108を介して対向するように配置する。またユニットの最も外側には、正極111の正極摩擦層103、または負極115の負極摩擦層107の面がくるように配置する。本実施の形態では、1つのユニットが、正極111、セパレータ108、負極115をそれぞれ1枚ずつ有する例について示す。
次に、外装体110を切断して開封し、ユニットを取り出す(図16(B))。ユニットの中の、正極活物質層102および負極活物質層106が対向している領域のゲル電解液109aにより、正極集電体101と負極集電体105は貼りあわされている。そこで正極集電体101と負極集電体105を貼りあわせているゲル電解液109aを保持したまま、ユニットの外側の面に付着した、ゲル電解液109aを取り除く。ユニットの外側の面に付着したゲル電解液109aを取り除くことで、正極111の正極摩擦層103側の面同士、または負極115の負極摩擦層107側の面同士の摩擦を小さくすることができる。
次に、上記のように作製したユニットを積み重ねる(図17(A))。本実施の形態ではユニットを3つ用いる例を示す。このとき負極集電体105の他方の面同士が対向するように配置すると好ましい。また、正極集電体を包むセパレータの面同士が対向するように配置すると好ましい。
次に、電気的に接続された複数のユニットを、新しく用意した外装体110で覆う(図18(A))。そして正極リード141が有する封止層140および負極リード145を有する封止層140と重畳する外装体110の一辺を、最初の封止と同様に熱溶着する(図18(B))。その後、必要ならば溶媒または電解質を追加してもよい。そして最初の封止と同様に、真空引き、加熱および加圧を行いながら、外装体110を封止し、二次電池100を得る(図18(C))。
二次電池100の変形例として、図19(A)に二次電池100を示す。図19(A)に示す二次電池100は、図18の二次電池100と比べて正極リード141と負極リード145の配置が異なる。具体的には、図18の二次電池100では正極リード141および負極リード145が外装体110の同じ辺に配置されているが、図19の二次電池100では正極リード141および負極リード145をそれぞれ外装体110の異なる辺に配置している。このように、本発明の一態様の二次電池は、リード電極を自由に配置することができるため、設計自由度が高い。よって、本発明の一態様の二次電池を用いた製品の設計自由度を高めることができる。また、本発明の一態様の二次電池を用いた製品の生産性を高めることができる。
本実施の形態では、図20を用いて、本発明の一態様に係る二次電池100を搭載することのできる電子デバイスについて説明する。
さらに、電気機器の一例である移動体の例について、図21を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、二次電池100を搭載した無線センサについて、図22及び図23を用いて説明を行う。
図22(A)および図22(B)は、無線センサ800の構成例を示す外観図である。無線センサ800は、回路基板801と、バッテリ802と、センサ803と、を有する。バッテリ802には、ラベル804が貼られている。さらに、図22(B)に示すように、無線センサ800は、端子806と、端子807と、アンテナ808と、アンテナ809と、を有する。バッテリ802として、二次電池100を用いることができる。
図23は、無線センサ880の構成例を示す外観図である。無線センサ880は、支持体850と、アンテナ851と、集積回路852と、回路基板853と、センサ855と、バッテリ854と、を有する。バッテリ854として、二次電池100を用いることができる。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態8で説明した無線センサの応用例について、図24乃至図26を用いて説明する。図24乃至図26に示す無線センサ900は、実施の形態8に示した無線センサ800または無線センサ880を適用することが可能である。

Claims (3)
- 正極集電体と、正極活物質層と、正極摩擦層と、負極集電体と、負極活物質層と、負極摩擦層と、セパレータと、を有し、
前記正極摩擦層及び前記負極摩擦層は、有機膜、フッ素樹脂、または無機膜を有する、蓄電装置であって、
前記正極集電体の第1の面に、前記正極活物質層が配置され、
前記負極集電体の第1の面に、前記負極活物質層が配置され、
前記正極活物質層と、前記負極活物質層とは、前記セパレータを介して重なるように配置され、
前記正極集電体の第2の面の第1の領域に、前記正極摩擦層が配置され、
前記正極集電体の第2の面の第2の領域には、前記正極摩擦層は配置されず、
第1の軸に沿って、前記正極集電体と、前記正極活物質層と、前記負極集電体と、前記負極活物質層と、前記セパレータとが、折り曲げられることにより、前記第1の領域と前記第2の領域は、前記正極摩擦層を介して重なるように配置されており、
前記負極集電体の第2の面の第3の領域に、前記負極摩擦層が配置され、
前記負極集電体の第2の面の第4の領域には、前記負極摩擦層は配置されず、
第2の軸に沿って、前記正極集電体と、前記正極活物質層と、前記負極集電体と、前記負極活物質層と、前記セパレータとが、折り曲げられることにより、前記第3の領域と前記第4の領域は、前記負極摩擦層を介して重なるように配置され、
前記第1の軸は、前記正極摩擦層と重ならず、
前記第2の軸は、前記負極摩擦層と重ならない、蓄電装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記正極摩擦層及び前記負極摩擦層は、自己組織化単分子膜である、蓄電装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記正極摩擦層及び前記負極摩擦層は、劈開性を有する材料でなる、蓄電装置。
