Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置と、蓄電装置が有する外装体について説明する。
以下に、本発明の一態様の外装体について説明する。
図8は、蓄電装置の具体的な構成について説明する図である。図8(A)には、蓄電装置500の一例として、薄型の蓄電池の形態を示す。
セパレータ507は袋状に加工し、正極503または負極506のいずれか一方を包むように配置することが好ましい。例えば、図11(A)に示すように、正極503を挟むようにセパレータ507を2つ折りにし、正極503と重なる領域よりも外側で封止部514により封止することで、正極503をセパレータ507内に確実に担持することができる。そして、図11(B)に示すように、セパレータ507に包まれた正極503と負極506とを交互に積層し、これらを外装体509内に配置することで薄型の蓄電池である蓄電装置500を形成するとよい。
図43および図44に蓄電装置500の外装体509が封止部にスリットを有する例を示す。なお、外装体509には凹凸が設けられている(エンボス加工ともいう)。
次に、正極、負極およびセパレータの積層の様々な例を示す。
ここで、外装体は凹凸を有してもよい。例えば、フィルムに凸部を設ければよい。フィルムに凸部を設ける例として、フィルムにエンボス加工を施す、フィルムを蛇腹状とする、等が挙げられる。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の電子機器について、図24乃至図28を用いて説明する。
図24(A)に、腕時計型の携帯情報端末(スマートウォッチとも呼ぶ)700の斜視図を示す。携帯情報端末700は、筐体701、表示パネル702、留め金703、バンド705A、705B、操作ボタン711、712を有する。
次に、可撓性を有する蓄電装置について、図25乃至図29を用いて説明する。本発明の一態様の蓄電装置は、湾曲した形状であってもよい。また、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置は、可撓性を有し、湾曲した状態と湾曲していない状態の双方の状態において使用できてもよい。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置が有する正極および負極について説明する。
負極活物質として、例えば炭素系材料や合金系材料等を用いることができる。
正極活物質として例えば、オリビン型の結晶構造、層状岩塩型の結晶構造、またはスピネル型の結晶構造を有する複合酸化物等を用いることができる。
結着剤としては、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、スチレン・イソプレン・スチレンゴム、アクリロニトリル・ブタジエンゴム、ブタジエンゴム、エチレン・プロピレン・ジエン共重合体などのジエン系のゴム材料を用いることが好ましい。また結着剤として、フッ素ゴムを用いることができる。
集電体には、ステンレス、金、白金、アルミニウム、チタン等の金属、及びこれらの合金など、導電性が高い材料をもちいることができる。また集電体を正極に用いる場合には、正極の電位で溶出しないことが好ましい。また集電体を負極に用いる場合には、リチウム等のキャリアイオンと合金化しないことが好ましい。また、シリコン、チタン、ネオジム、スカンジウム、モリブデンなどの耐熱性を向上させる元素が添加されたアルミニウム合金を用いることができる。また、シリコンと反応してシリサイドを形成する金属元素で形成してもよい。シリコンと反応してシリサイドを形成する金属元素としては、ジルコニウム、チタン、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、タンタル、クロム、モリブデン、タングステン、コバルト、ニッケル等がある。集電体は、箔状、板状(シート状)、網状、パンチングメタル状、エキスパンドメタル状等の形状を適宜用いることができる。集電体は、厚みが5μm以上30μm以下のものを用いるとよい。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様の蓄電装置の使用例について図31乃至図35を用いて説明する。
上記実施の形態で説明した材料を含む電池セルと組み合わせて用いることができる電池制御ユニット(Battery Management Unit:BMU)、及び該電池制御ユニットを構成する回路に適したトランジスタについて、図36乃至図42を参照して説明する。本実施の形態では、特に直列に接続された電池セルを有する蓄電装置の電池制御ユニットについて説明する。

Claims (19)
- 正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極を包む外装体と、を有し、
前記外装体は、前記外装体の外縁部に第1のスリットを有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記外装体は、樹脂層を有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2において、
前記外縁部において、前記外装体が封止される蓄電装置。 - 正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極を包む外装体と、を有し、
前記外装体は、第1のフィルム状領域と、第2のフィルム状領域と、を有し、
前記外装体の外縁部において、第1のフィルム状領域は第2のフィルム状領域と接し、
前記第1のフィルム状領域と第2のフィルム状領域はそれぞれ、樹脂層を有し、
前記外装体は、前記外縁部に第1のスリットを有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一において、
前記外装体は、前記外縁部に更に第2のスリットを有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項5において、
前記外縁部は、帯状の形状を有し、
前記第1のスリットと第2のスリットの長軸はそれぞれ、前記外縁部の長軸に概略垂直である蓄電装置。 - 請求項5において、
前記外縁部は、帯状の形状を有し、
前記第1のスリットと第2のスリットの長軸と、前記外縁部の長軸と、のなす角がそれぞれ、45°以上90°未満である蓄電装置。 - 請求項5乃至請求項7のいずれか一において、
第1のスリットと第2のスリットの間の距離は、2mm以上3cm以下である蓄電装置。 - 正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極を包む外装体と、を有し、
前記外装体は、樹脂層を有し、
前記外装体の外縁部は、第1のスリットと、前記第1のスリットよりも前記外装体の端部側の端が蓄電装置の中心部に近い第2のスリットと、を有し、
前記外縁部は、帯状の形状を有し、
前記第1のスリットの長軸と、前記外縁部の長軸と、のなす角はa°であり、
前記第2のスリットの長軸と、前記帯状の形状の長軸と、のなす角はb°であり、
aは、bよりも大きい蓄電装置。 - 正極と、負極と、前記正極と前記負極を包む外装体と、を有し、
前記外装体は、樹脂層を有し、
前記外装体は、前記外装体の外縁部に二以上の孔を有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項10において、
前記二以上の孔は、線状に並ぶ蓄電装置。 - 請求項10または請求項11において、
前記二以上の孔の長径はそれぞれ、0.1mm以上3mm以下である蓄電装置。 - 請求項9乃至請求項12のいずれか一において、
前記外装体は、第1のフィルム状領域と、第2のフィルム状領域と、を有し、
前記外装体の外縁部において、第1のフィルム状領域は第2のフィルム状領域と接する蓄電装置。 - 請求項9乃至請求項12のいずれか一において、
前記外装体は、更に金属層を有する蓄電装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項14のいずれか一において、
前記蓄電装置は繰り返し曲げることができる、蓄電装置。 - 請求項1乃至請求項15のいずれか一に記載の蓄電装置と、トランジスタと、を有する、電池制御ユニット。
- 請求項16において、前記トランジスタは酸化物半導体を有する電池制御ユニット。
- 請求項1乃至請求項15のいずれか一に記載の蓄電装置を有する、電子機器。
- 請求項1乃至請求項15のいずれか一に記載の蓄電装置と、表示部と、を有する、電子機器。
