Claims (8)
- セパレータ、ならびに前記セパレータの両面に配置された第1電極および第2電極を有する電極積層体を含む電池要素と、前記電池要素を覆う外装材とを含むリチウムイオン二次電池であって、
前記外装材が、前記電池要素の一方の側の第1外装材と前記電池要素の他方の側の第2外装材とからなり、前記第1外装材の線膨張係数(α1)が前記第2外装材の線膨張係数(α2)よりも大きく、α1とα2との差が、5×10 −6 〜50×10 −6 /℃であり、
前記第1外装材の平均厚みd1およびヤング率σ1、ならびに前記第2外装材の平均厚みd2およびヤング率σ2が、d1×σ1<d2×σ2の関係を満たすことを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記第1外装材および第2外装材が外周部で接合されてなる接合部を有し、第1外装材が自由膨張するように伸展する、電池の内部方向または外部方向に屈曲させた部位を前記接合部の内側の第2外装材に設ける、請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- セパレータ、ならびに前記セパレータの両面に配置された第1電極および第2電極を有する電極積層体を含む第1電池要素ならびに第2電池要素と、
前記第1電池要素および前記第2電池要素により挟持された第3部材と、
前記第1電池要素が前記第3部材と接する側と対向する側で前記第1電池要素を覆う第1外装材と、
前記第2電池要素が前記第3部材と接する側と対向する側で前記第2電池要素を覆う第2外装材と、
を含み、前記第3部材は、前記第1外装材および前記第2外装材の双方と外周部の少なくとも一部で接合され、
前記第1外装材の線膨張係数(α1)、前記第2外装材の線膨張係数(α2)および前記第3部材の線膨張係数(α3)が、α1>α3>α2の関係を満たし、α1およびα3、ならびにα2およびα3との差が、5×10 −6 〜50×10 −6 /℃であり、
前記第1外装材の平均厚みd1およびヤング率σ1、前記第2外装材の平均厚みd2およびヤング率σ2、ならびに前記第3部材の平均厚みd3およびヤング率σ3が、(d1×σ1+d3×σ3)<d2×σ2の関係を満たすリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記第2外装材および第3部材が外周部で接合されてなる接合部を有し、前記第1外装材および第3部材が自由膨張するように伸展する、電池の内部方向または外部方向に屈曲させた部位を前記接合部の内側の第2外装材に設ける、請求項3に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- セパレータ、ならびに前記セパレータの両面に配置された第1電極および第2電極を有する電極積層体を含む第1電池要素ならびに第2電池要素と、
前記第1電池要素および前記第2電池要素により挟持された第3部材と、
前記第1電池要素が前記第3部材と接する側と対向する側で前記第1電池要素を覆う第1外装材と、
前記第2電池要素が前記第3部材と接する側と対向する側で前記第2電池要素を覆う第2外装材と、
を含み、前記第3部材は、前記第1外装材および前記第2外装材の双方と外周部の少なくとも一部で接合され、前記第1外装材の線膨張係数(α1)、前記第2外装材の線膨張係数(α2)および前記第3部材の線膨張係数(α3)が、α1>α2>α3の関係を満たし、α1およびα2、ならびにα2およびα3との差が、5×10 −6 〜50×10 −6 /℃であり、前記第1外装材の平均厚みd1およびヤング率σ1、前記第2外装材の平均厚みd2およびヤング率σ2、ならびに前記第3部材の平均厚みd3およびヤング率σ3が、(d1×σ1+d2×σ2)<d3×σ3の関係を満たすことを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。 - 前記第1外装材および第3部材ならびに前記第2外装材および第3部材が外周部で接合されてなる接合部を有し、第1外装材および第2外装材が自由膨張するように伸展する、電池の内部方向または外部方向に屈曲させた部位を前記接合部の内側の第3部材に設ける、請求項5に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記第3部材が、前記第1外装材および前記第2外装材よりも外部に突出してなる、請求項3〜6のいずれか1項に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 前記第3部材が、フィン形状を有する、請求項7に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池。
