Description
図1は、本実施形態のタイヤ1の正規状態におけるタイヤ回転軸(図示省略)を含むタイヤ子午線断面図である。本発明は、例えば、乗用車用、自動二輪車用、重荷重用等の空気入りタイヤの他、空気が充填されない非空気式タイヤなど、様々なカテゴリーのタイヤ1に用いることができる。図1には、自動二輪車用の空気入りタイヤが示される。
帯状プライ:幅4.0mm、厚さ1.0mm
トレッド補強層の幅(Wt/TW):80%
螺旋状部の幅(Wa/TW):10%
各試供タイヤが、下記の条件で、排気量1300ccの自動二輪車の全輪に装着された。テストライダーは、上記車両を乾燥アスファルト路面のテストコースを走行させた。このときの各試供タイヤの直進走行や旋回走行でのブレーキング時の安定特性がテストライダーの官能により評価された。結果は、比較例1を100とする評点で表示されている。数値が大きいほど良好である。

Claims (5)
- タイヤであって、
トロイド状のカーカスと、前記カーカスのタイヤ半径方向外側かつトレッド部の内部に配されたトレッド補強層とを含み、
前記トレッド補強層は、少なくとも1本の補強コードがトッピングゴムにより被覆された長尺の帯状プライが巻き付けられているプライ補強部を含み、
前記プライ補強部は、前記帯状プライがタイヤ周方向に螺旋状に延びている螺旋状部を有し、
前記螺旋状部は、第1端部分と、それに続く第2部分とを含み、
前記第2部分では、前記帯状プライが前記トレッド部を螺旋状に1周よりも長く延びており、
前記第1端部分では、前記帯状プライが前記第2部分の前記帯状プライのタイヤ周方向に対する角度よりも小さい角度でタイヤ周方向に延び、かつ、前記第2部分の前記帯状プライとタイヤ半径方向で重ねられ、
前記プライ補強部は、前記螺旋状部のタイヤ軸方向の両側に、前記帯状プライが、前記第2部分での前記帯状プライのタイヤ周方向に対する角度よりも大きい角度で傾斜する側方部を含み、
前記側方部と前記螺旋状部との間には、前記帯状プライの幅以下の隙間が設けられている、
タイヤ。 - 前記第1端部分は、タイヤ回転軸の周りを45〜360度の範囲で延びている、請求項1記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2部分では、前記帯状プライの側縁が互いに重なるように螺旋状に延びている、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記第2部分では、前記帯状プライの側縁が互いに接するように螺旋状に延びている、請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド補強層は、前記第2部分に続く第2端部分をさらに含み、
前記第2端部分では、前記帯状プライが前記第2部分の前記帯状プライのタイヤ周方向に対する角度よりも小さい角度でタイヤ周方向に延び、かつ、前記第2部分の前記帯状プライとタイヤ半径方向で重ねられている、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のタイヤ。
