Abstract

Il pneumatico, con carcassa di tipo radiale, possiede una struttura di cintura che comprende due strati radialmente sovrapposti di tessuto metallico rinforzati con cordicelle disposte obliquamente rispetto alla direzione circonferenziale del pneumatico e fra loro incrociate, e su ciascuna estremità di detta coppia di strati un anello di rinforzo comprendente almeno una striscia di tessuto gommato rinforzata con cordicelle metalliche ad alto allungamento dirette circonferenzialmente.Nel pneumatico vulcanizzato, smontato dal veicolo e gonfiato alla pressione di esercizio, i suddetti anelli giacciono su una medesima superficie cilindrica, coassiale al pneumatico, mentre la porzione intermedia di cintura presenta, in sezione retta, un profilo bombato verso l'esterno.
