(3)前記切替機構は、前記ハイ側クラッチ及び前記ロー側クラッチが組み合わされた一体ものであることが好ましい。
本実施形態のトランスアクスル1(トランスアクスル装置)は、図1に示す車両10に適用される。この車両10は、エンジン2と走行用のモータ3(電動機,第一の回転電機)と発電用のジェネレータ4(発電機,第二の回転電機)とを装備したハイブリッド車両である。ジェネレータ4はエンジン2に連結され、モータ3の作動状態とは独立して作動可能とされる。また、車両10にはEVモード,シリーズモード,パラレルモードの三種類の走行モードが用意される。これらの走行モードは、図示しない電子制御装置によって、車両状態や走行状態,運転者の要求出力等に応じて択一的に選択され、その種類に応じてエンジン2,モータ3,ジェネレータ4が使い分けられる。なお、モータ3は発電機能(ジェネレータの機能)を有していてもよいし、また、ジェネレータ4は電動機能(モータの機能)を有していてもよい。
図3は、本実施形態のトランスアクスル1を動力伝達経路に沿って軸方向に切断した断面図であり、図4はこのトランスアクスル1を備えたパワートレイン7のスケルトン図である。なお、図4以降のスケルトン図では、ポンプ5とトランスアクスル1とを一体化させて(ポンプ5をケーシング1Cに内蔵させて)図示する。
入力軸11には、二つの固定ギヤ11H,11Lが設けられる。二つの固定ギヤ11H,11Lは、互いに異なる歯数を持ち、第一カウンタ軸15に設けられた互いに歯数の異なる二つの遊転ギヤ15H,15Lのそれぞれと常時噛合している。
また、第二カウンタ軸16には、二つの固定ギヤ16a,16bとパーキングギヤ19とが設けられる。ケーシング1Cの右側面寄りに配置された固定ギヤ16aは、モータ軸13に設けられた固定ギヤ13aと常時噛合している。一方、ケーシング1Cの左側面寄りに配置された固定ギヤ16bは、デフ18のリングギヤ18aと常時噛合している。すなわち、モータ3の動力は、固定ギヤ13a,16a,16b及びデフ18を介して出力軸12へと伝達される。
なお、デフ18は、図3に示すように、リングギヤ18aに伝達された動力を、デフケース18b,ピニオンシャフト18c,デフピニオン18d,サイドギヤ18eを介して出力軸12に伝達する。
(1)上述したトランスアクスル1には切替機構20が設けられ、パラレルモードでの走行時に、走行状態や要求出力等に応じてハイギヤ段とローギヤ段とが切り替えられる。つまり、パラレルモードにおいて、エンジン2の動力を二段階に切り替えて伝達(出力)することができるため、走行パターンを増やすことができ、ドライバビリティの向上や燃費改善といった効果が得られ、車両商品性を向上させることができる。
(3)また、上述したトランスアクスル1では、切替機構20がハイ側クラッチ及びロー側クラッチを組み合わせた一体ものとして設けられることから、トランスアクスル1のコンパクト化を図ることができる。
上述したトランスアクスル1は一例であって、その構成は上述したものに限られない。以下、トランスアクスル1の変形例について、図5〜図12を用いて説明する。図5〜図12は、第一変形例〜第八変形例に係るトランスアクスル1を備えたパワートレイン7を示すスケルトン図である。なお、上述した実施形態やそれまでに説明した変形例と同様の構成については、上述した実施形態や変形例の符号と同一の符号又は同様の符号(同一の数字に異なるアルファベット等)を付し、重複する説明は省略する。
図5に示すように、第一変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、遊転ギヤ11H′,11L′及び切替機構20′の配置が異なる点を除いて、上述した実施形態と同様に構成される。本変形例では、ハイ側の遊転ギヤ11H′及びロー側の遊転ギヤ11L′がいずれも入力軸11に設けられるとともに二重管構造をなし、さらに切替機構20′がこれらと同軸(入力軸11)上に介装される。
なお、断接機構は必須の構成ではなく、省略してもよい。また、本変形例ではパーキングギヤ19が第二カウンタ軸16に設けられているが、パーキングギヤ19の配置もこれに限られない。
図6に示すように、第二変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第一変形例(図5)のものと比較して、切替機構20′と遊転ギヤ11H′,11L′との位置関係が異なるとともに、ジェネレータ4へ動力を伝達するギヤが異なる。すなわち、本変形例においても、切替機構20′及び遊転ギヤ11H′,11L′は入力軸11に設けられるが、これらの位置関係が異なる。また、第一変形例の固定ギヤ11aの代わりにギヤ11bが設けられる。
図7に示すように、第三変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第一変形例(図5)のものと比較して、切替機構が互いに異なる軸に介装されたハイ側クラッチ30Hとロー側クラッチ30Lとを有する点が異なる。ハイ側クラッチ30Hは第一カウンタ軸15の左側面寄りに配置され、ロー側クラッチ30Lは入力軸11の右側面寄りであってデフ18のリングギヤ18aと幅方向において重なる位置に配置される。
なお、本変形例において、ロー側クラッチ30Lをデフ18のリングギヤ18a以外の要素(例えばデフケース18bやデフピニオン18d等)と幅方向において重なる位置に配置してもよい。
図8に示すように、第四変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第三変形例(図7)のものと比較して、切替機構が有する二つのクラッチ30H′,30L′の配置と遊転ギヤ11Ha,15Laの配置とが異なる。すなわち、本変形例では、入力軸11に、上記の固定ギヤ11a,11Lが設けられるとともに、ハイ側クラッチ30H′及び遊転ギヤ11Haが設けられる。また、第一カウンタ軸15に、上記の固定ギヤ15a,15H′が設けられるとともに、ロー側クラッチ30L′及び遊転ギヤ15Laが設けられる。
図9に示すように、第五変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第三変形例(図7),第四変形例(図8)のものと比較して、切替機構が有する二つのクラッチ30H′,30L及び遊転ギヤ11Ha,11Laがいずれも入力軸11に設けられる点で異なる。すなわち、本変形例では、入力軸11上であってケーシング1Cの右側面寄りに設けられた固定ギヤ11aの左側にローギヤ段(遊転ギヤ11La,固定ギヤ15L′)が配置され、遊転ギヤ11Laの左側にロー側クラッチ30Lが介装される。また、ローギヤ段の左側にハイギヤ段(遊転ギヤ11Ha,固定ギヤ15H′)が配置され、遊転ギヤ11Haの左側にハイ側クラッチ30H′が介装される。
図10に示すように、第六変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第五変形例(図9)のものと比較して、切替機構が有する二つのクラッチ30H,30L′及び遊転ギヤ15Ha,15Laがいずれも第一カウンタ軸15に設けられる点で異なる。すなわち、本変形例では、入力軸11上であってケーシング1Cの右側面寄りに設けられた固定ギヤ11aの左側にローギヤ段(固定ギヤ11L,遊転ギヤ15La)が配置され、ローギヤ段の左側にハイギヤ段(固定ギヤ11H,遊転ギヤ15Ha)が配置される。各クラッチ30H,30L′は、遊転ギヤ15Ha,15Laの左側に介装される。このような構成であっても、上述した実施形態の(1)の効果を得ることができる。
図11に示すように、第七変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第五変形例(図9)のものと比較して、遊転ギヤ11Hb,11Lbに対する各クラッチ40H,40Lの位置が異なる。本変形例では、遊転ギヤ11Hb,11Lbの内径が、上記の実施形態や第一〜第六変形例のものと比較して大きく形成されており、各遊転ギヤ11Hb,11Lbの径方向内側(以下「内側」という)にクラッチ40H,40Lがそれぞれ配置される。
図12に示すように、第八変形例に係るトランスアクスル1は、第七変形例(図11)のものと比較して、遊転ギヤ15Hb,15Lb及びクラッチ40H′,40L′の配置が異なる。本変形例では、遊転ギヤ15Hb,15Lbがいずれも第一カウンタ軸15に設けられるとともに、これらの遊転ギヤ15Hb,15Lbの内側にクラッチ40H′,40L′がそれぞれ配置される。
以上、本発明の実施形態及び変形例を説明したが、本発明は上述した実施形態等に限定されるものではなく、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々変形することが可能である。
例えば、上述した各変形例のトランスアクスル1には断接機構が設けられるが、上述した実施形態のように断接機構が設けられていなくてもよい。また、パーキングギヤ19の位置は特に限られず、適宜設定可能である。
また、トランスアクスル1に対するエンジン2,モータ3,ジェネレータ4,ポンプ5の相対位置は上述したものに限らない。これらの相対位置に応じて、トランスアクスル1内の六つの軸11〜16の配置を設定すればよい。また、トランスアクスル1内の各軸に設けられるギヤの配置も一例であって、上述したものに限られない。

Claims (4)
- エンジン,第一の回転電機及び第二の回転電機を装備し、前記エンジン及び前記第一の回転電機の動力を個別に駆動輪側の出力軸に伝達するとともに前記エンジンの動力を前記第二の回転電機にも伝達するハイブリッド車両のトランスアクスル装置であって、
前記出力軸に介装されたデファレンシャルギヤと、
前記エンジンから前記出力軸への動力伝達経路上に介装され、ハイギヤ段とローギヤ段とを切り替える切替機構と、
前記エンジンの回転軸と同軸上に接続された入力軸と、
前記第二の回転電機の回転軸と同軸上に接続された第二の回転電機軸と、を備え、
前記切替機構は、前記入力軸と一体回転する要素を有し、
前記要素には、前記第二の回転電機軸に固定された固定ギヤと常時噛合するギヤが固定されるとともに、当該ギヤは軸方向と直交方向において前記デファレンシャルギヤと重なる位置に配置され、
前記ハイギヤ段は、前記トランスアクスル装置のケーシング内において、前記ローギヤ段に対し前記デファレンシャルギヤの逆側に配置された
ことを特徴とする、トランスアクスル装置。 - 前記切替機構が、前記動力伝達経路に対して、前記ハイギヤ段を接続又は切断するハイ側クラッチと前記ローギヤ段を接続又は切断するロー側クラッチとを有する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1記載のトランスアクスル装置。 - 前記切替機構は、前記ハイ側クラッチ及び前記ロー側クラッチが組み合わされた一体ものである
ことを特徴とする、請求項2記載のトランスアクスル装置。 - 前記切替機構は、前記ハイ側クラッチ及び前記ロー側クラッチの少なくとも一方が前記入力軸上であって軸方向と直交方向において前記デファレンシャルギヤと重なる位置に介装された
ことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のトランスアクスル装置。
