次に、別の容器に30重量%シリカゾルと蒸留水を入れて軽く攪拌した後、これを広口瓶に加え、1時間攪拌して膜形成用ゾルを調製した。得られた膜形成用ゾルをステンレス製耐圧容器のフッ素樹脂製内筒に入れ、DDR型ゼオライト種結晶を付着させた多孔質支持体を浸漬した後、160℃の熱風乾燥機中で24時間反応させることによってDDR型ゼオライト膜を形成した。
サンプルNo.3〜8では、ガス分離膜として炭素膜を形成した。
サンプルNo.9〜11では、ガス分離膜としてシリカ膜を形成した。
ガス分離膜構造体を組み込んだガス分離モジュール(図2参照)を用いて、表1に示す条件にてガス分離試験を行った。なお、上述の通り、サンプルNo.1,2のガス分離膜構造体は互いに等価であり、サンプルNo.3〜6のガス分離膜構造体は互いに等価であり、サンプルNo.9〜11のガス分離膜構造体は互いに等価である。

Claims (3)
- 互いに種類の異なる第1ガス及び第2ガスを少なくとも含む供給ガスにおける前記第1ガスの分圧が、ガス分離膜の透過側空間の全圧以下となる条件下で実施されるガス分離方法であって、
前記ガス分離膜の供給側空間に前記供給ガスを供給しながら、前記ガス分離膜の透過側空間に前記第1ガス及び前記第2ガスとは異なる種類の第3ガスを少なくとも含むスイープガスを前記透過側空間に流す工程を備え、
前記ガス分離膜は、ゼオライト膜又は炭素膜であり、
前記ガス分離膜において、前記第1ガスの透過速度は前記第2ガス及び前記第3ガスそれぞれの透過速度よりも大きく、
前記第1ガスの透過速度の前記第2ガスの透過速度に対する透過速度比は100以上であり、
前記第1ガスの透過速度の前記第3ガスの透過速度に対する透過速度比は100以上であり、
前記第1ガスは、ヘリウム及び窒素のいずれかである、
ガス分離方法。 - 前記供給ガスにおける前記第1ガスの濃度は、0.1%以上5.0%以下である、
請求項1に記載のガス分離方法。 - 前記第1ガスの分子径は、前記第2ガス及び前記第3ガスそれぞれの分子径よりも小さい、
請求項1又は2に記載のガス分離方法。
