図4Aに係る多層可剥性封止フィルムを、従来のインフレーションフィルム共押出プロセスを用いて作製した。共押出多層可剥性フィルムの配合物が、表1に示される。
共押出多層可剥性フィルム
図4Aに係る多層可剥性封止フィルムを、従来のインフレーションフィルム共押出プロセスを用いて作製した。共押出多層可剥性フィルムの配合物が、表2に示される。
多層可剥性封止フィルムを、従来のインフレーションフィルム共押出プロセスを用いて作製した。スキン層を含む多層可剥性封止フィルムのシール強度を試験した。スキン層は、ポリエチレンおよび40%のポリブテン−1を含んでいた。さらに、スキン層は、フィルムの10%であり、フィルムは、厚さ3.5ミルであった。スキン層を、非被覆紙(Arjo Wiggins DS60)に結合した。「未処理の(green)」試料を封止し、シールが形成された直後に引っ張った。10秒間冷ましてから強度を測定した。「エージングされた(aged)」試料を封止し、14日間封止したままにしておいてから、引き剥がした。60psiおよび1秒間の滞留時間で、Enepayヒートシール試験機(Magma)を用いて、試験を行った。試験機がシールを形成し、フィルムを紙から引っ張り、次に、剥離力を測定する。データを収集し、表3に示す。
多層可剥性封止フィルムを、従来のインフレーションフィルム共押出プロセスを用いて作製した。異なるスキン層を有する多層可剥性封止フィルムを、様々な温度(°F)にわたるヒートシール強度(g/インチ)について試験した。多層可剥性封止フィルムを含むパッケージを、Multivac R145で製造した。パッケージを3〜5日間エージングした。次に、1インチ幅の試験片を各パッケージから取り、次に、剥離強度についてInstron引張試験機で試験した。
多層可剥性封止フィルムを、従来のインフレーションフィルム共押出プロセスを用いて作製した。異なるスキン層を有する多層可剥性封止フィルムを、様々な温度(°F)にわたるヒートシール強度(g/インチ)について試験した。多層可剥性封止フィルムを含むパッケージを、Multivac R145で製造した。パッケージを3〜5日間エージングした。次に、1インチ幅の試験片を各パッケージから取り、次に、剥離強度についてInstron引張試験機で試験した。
Claims (19)
- 紙繊維を含む非被覆の封止面を有する紙と、
可剥性スキン手段を提供するように構成されかつスキン層を含むフィルムと、
を備えたパッケージであって、
前記非被覆の封止面は、何らかの物質に被覆されることなく剥きだしとなっている封止面であり、
前記スキン層が、熱に曝されたときに、前記非被覆の封止面に前記フィルムを結合してそれらの間に物品受容空間を確立し、
前記紙繊維が前記非被覆の封止面から剥離せずかつ前記紙繊維が前記物品受容空間の中に排出されることなく、前記フィルムおよび前記紙のうちの一方への外部からの剥離力の付与に応じて前記フィルムが前記非被覆の封止面から剥離されて、前記非被覆の封止面が、前記非被覆の封止面から前記フィルムが剥離される間、実質的に損傷せず、
前記スキン層は57%の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)と、40%のポリ‐α‐オレフィンを含み、
前記スキン層の残りは滑り成分および粘着防止成分を含み、
前記スキン層と前記非被覆の封止面との間の剥離シール強度が2.23〜13.34N/25.4mmであるパッケージ。 - 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの5%〜20%を占める、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記LDPEが、3g/10分〜10g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記LDPEが、6g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項1又は3に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記ポリ−α−オレフィンがポリブテン−1である、請求項1、3または4に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記ポリ−α−オレフィンが、1g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの10%を占める、請求項1、3〜6のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 全フィルムが、厚さ3〜3.5ミルである、請求項1、3〜7のいずれか一項に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの10%を占める、請求項1、3〜8のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 非被覆の封止面を有しかつ紙繊維を含む紙、を有する基体と、
前記基体に連結されて間に配設されかつ物品をその中に受容するように構成される物品受容空間が形成される多層フィルムと、
を備え、
前記非被覆の封止面は、何らかの物質に被覆されることなく剥きだしとなっている封止面であり、
前記多層フィルムが、外層と、前記外層および前記基体に設けられた前記非被覆の封止面の間に挿入されるスキン層と、を含み、前記スキン層が、熱活性化シール手段を提供するように構成され、
前記スキン層が、所定の温度を超える熱に曝露される間に前記基体に設けられた前記非被覆の封止面に結合して、前記スキン層と前記非被覆の封止面との間の物品受容空間中に存在する物品を封止し、前記非被覆の封止面が前記スキン層に結合されて、封止されたチャンバの中に前記物品受容空間中に存在する物品を保持するように前記物品受容空間を囲む気密シールがそれらの間に確立され、
前記熱活性化シール手段が、前記紙への外部からの紙剥離力の付加に応じて前記基体に含まれる前記非被覆の封止面から脱離し、前記紙繊維が前記非被覆の封止面から剥離せずかつそれらの紙繊維が前記物品受容空間中に排出されることなく、前記非被覆の封止面と前記スキン層との間の結合が破断されて前記非被覆の封止面が前記スキン層から剥がれ、その結果、使用者が前記非被覆の封止面の少なくとも一部を前記多層フィルムの前記スキン層から剥がして前記物品受容空間の中の物品を利用するときに、前記物品受容空間および前記物品受容空間中の任意の物品が前記非被覆の封止面に関連する紙繊維によって汚染されず、
前記スキン層は57%の低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)と、40%のポリ‐α‐オレフィンを含み、
前記スキン層の残りは滑り成分および粘着防止成分を含み、
前記スキン層と前記非被覆の封止面との間の剥離シール強度が2.23〜13.34N/25.4mmであるパッケージ。 - 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの5%〜20%を占める、請求項10に記載のパッケージ。
- 外層と、少なくとも1つのコア層を含むコアと、スキン層とを含み、非被覆の紙基体から剥がれる多層可剥性フィルムであって、
前記スキン層が、全フィルムの5%〜20%を占め、
前記スキン層の20%〜80%がポリ−α−オレフィンであり、
前記スキン層は低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)、ポリ‐α‐オレフィン、滑り成分および粘着防止成分を含み、
前記スキン層と前記非被覆の封止面との間の剥離シール強度が2.23〜13.34N/25.4mmである多層可剥性フィルム。 - 前記LDPEが、3g/10分〜10g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項12に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 前記LDPEが、6g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項12に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 前記ポリ−α−オレフィンがポリブテン−1である、請求項12〜14のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 前記ポリ−α−オレフィンが、1g/10分のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項12〜15のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの10%を占める、請求項12〜16のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 全フィルムが、厚さ3〜3.5ミルである、請求項12〜17のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
- 前記スキン層が、全フィルムの10%を占める、請求項12〜18のいずれか一項に記載の多層可剥性フィルム。
