Claims (10)
- 弾力的伸縮性をもつ筒状の内層(24)及び外層(26)を有し、内圧の変化によって拡張及び収縮が可能なバルーン(14)と、
前記内層(24)と前記外層(26)との間に、前記内層(24)及び前記外層(26)に対して少なくとも一部が直接固定されていない筒網状の補強部材(28、28a)と、を備え、
前記補強部材(28、28a)は、引張破断強度が2GPa以上で弾性率が50GPa以上の繊維である高強度繊維からなる第1線状部材(29)を有し、
前記補強部材(28、28a)の軸方向の両端部には、前記第1線状部材(29)に融着したリング状の拡張規制部(36)がそれぞれ設けられており、前記拡張規制部(36)により前記両端部の周方向の拡張が規制されている、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル(10)。 - 請求項1記載のカテーテル(10)において、
前記補強部材(28、28a)は、所定温度以上に加熱することで軟化及び溶融することが可能な可溶融性材料からなる第2線状部材(30)を有し、
前記第2線状部材(30)は、前記拡張規制部(36)と同じ材料である、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル(10)。 - 請求項2記載のカテーテル(10)において、
前記第1線状部材(29)により筒網状体(37)が形成され、
複数の前記第2線状部材(30)が前記筒網状体(37)の周方向に間隔をおいて配置されており、前記第2線状部材(30)の各々は、前記筒網状体(37)に沿って、前記筒網状体(37)の一端部から他端部まで延在し、前記両端部において前記拡張規制部(36)に連結されている、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル(10)。 - 請求項2記載のカテーテル(10)において、
前記第1線状部材(29)と前記第2線状部材(30)とにより筒網状体(37a)が形成されている、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル(10)。 - 請求項4記載のカテーテル(10)において、
軸方向に垂直な断面における前記第1線状部材(29)の総断面積は、前記第2線状部材(30)の総断面積よりも大きい、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル(10)。 - 弾力的伸縮性をもつ筒状の内層(24)及び外層(26)を有し、内圧の変化によって拡張及び収縮が可能なバルーン(14)と、前記内層(24)と前記外層(26)との間に配置された筒網状の補強部材(28、28a)と、を備えたカテーテル(10)を製造するためのカテーテル製造方法であって、
引張破断強度が2GPa以上で弾性率が50GPa以上の繊維である高強度繊維からなる第1線状部材(29)と、所定温度以上に加熱することで軟化及び溶融することが可能な可溶融性材料からなる第2線状部材(30)とを含む素材スリーブ(50)を作製する素材スリーブ作製工程と、
前記素材スリーブ(50)の軸方向の複数個所を加熱及び切断することにより、前記可溶融性材料からなり且つ前記第1線状部材(29)に融着したリング状の拡張規制部(36)が軸方向の両端部に形成された前記補強部材(28、28a)を作製する加熱及び切断工程と、を含む、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル製造方法。 - 請求項6記載のカテーテル製造方法において、
前記素材スリーブ作製工程では、第1線状部材(29)により形成された筒網状体(37)に沿って複数の前記第2線状部材(30)が前記筒網状体(37)の周方向に間隔をおいて配置された状態を構築する、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル製造方法。 - 請求項7記載のカテーテル製造方法において、
前記素材スリーブ作製工程では、芯棒の外面に沿って配置された前記複数の第2線状部材(30)の外側に、前記筒網状体(37)を被せる、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル製造方法。 - 請求項6記載のカテーテル製造方法において、
前記素材スリーブ作製工程では、前記第1線状部材(29)と前記第2線状部材(30)とにより筒網状の前記素材スリーブ(50)を形成する、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル製造方法。 - 請求項9記載のカテーテル製造方法において、
前記素材スリーブ作製工程では、前記素材スリーブ(50)の軸方向に垂直な断面における前記第1線状部材(29)の総断面積が前記第2線状部材(30)の総断面積よりも大きくなるように、前記素材スリーブ(50)を形成する、
ことを特徴とするカテーテル製造方法。
