Claims (8)
- 面方向に延在する集電体と、
前記集電体の両面に、前記集電体の一部を露出させた露出部を残すように配置された一対の活物質層と、
前記集電体を挟んで対向して配置され、前記活物質層から前記露出部にかけて境界を覆うように配置された一対の絶縁部材と、を有する電極であって、
前記活物質層は、前記露出部に向かって厚さが薄くなるように傾斜する傾斜部を有し、
前記一対の絶縁部材に覆われた部位の電極厚みの最大値をL1、前記一対の絶縁部材に覆われていない前記活物質層部位の電極厚みの最大値をL2としたときに、1<L1/L2≦1.25を満たし、
前記絶縁部材の前記面方向の内側の内側端部は、前記傾斜部上に配置される電極。 - 前記傾斜部が前記集電体に対して傾斜する傾斜角をθとしたときに、0.033<tanθ<0.075を満たす請求項1に記載の電極。
- 前記絶縁部材の厚みは、15〜27μmである請求項1または2に記載の電極。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電極を積層し、外装体で封止した扁平形状の電池であって、
前記一対の絶縁部材に覆われた部位の電池厚みの最大値をL3、前記一対の絶縁部材に覆われていない前記活物質層部位の電池厚みの最小値をL4としたときに、1<L3/L4≦1.16を満たす電池。 - 定格容量に対する前記電池の面積(前記外装体まで含めた前記電池の投影面積)の比の値は、5cm2/Ah以上であり、かつ、前記定格容量は、3Ah以上である、請求項4に記載の電池。
- 矩形状の前記活物質層の縦横比として定義される前記電極のアスペクト比は、1〜3である、請求項4または5に記載の電池。
- 積層された前記電極間に配置されるセパレータをさらに有し、
前記セパレータは、前記絶縁部材よりも面方向外方に延在して設けられる、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電池。 - 前記絶縁部材は、当該絶縁部材が覆われる前記集電体および前記活物質層の極とは異なる極における前記集電体または前記活物質層の面方向の端部よりも面方向外方に延在して設けられる、請求項4〜7のいずれか1項に記載の電池。
