Claims (6)
- 後輪(WR)に制動力を与えるリヤブレーキキャリパ(36)と、前記後輪(WR)を回転可能に軸支するスイングアーム(23)とを備える鞍乗型車両(1)に適用されるブレーキキャリパの冷却構造において、
前記スイングアーム(23)の下面(23a)に取り付けられる導風ダクト(60,160)を備え、
前記導風ダクト(60,160)に、車体側面視で、前記後輪(WR)の車体前方に位置する吸気口(62)と、前記リヤブレーキキャリパ(36)の近傍に配設される排気口(67,167)とが設けられることを特徴とするブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。 - 前記鞍乗型車両(1)が、前記後輪(WR)と前輪(WF)との間に配置されるエンジン(E)の側面を覆うカウリング(21)を有しており、
前記導風ダクト(60,160)の吸気口(62)は、車体正面視で、前記カウリング(21)の外側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。 - 前記導風ダクト(60,160)の車幅方向外側下部に、車体上方側より車体下方側の方が車幅方向内側に位置する傾斜面(63a)が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。
- 前記スイングアーム(23)の下面(23a)が、車体後方に向かって後上がりとなる形状とされることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。
- 前記導風ダクト(60)の排気口(67)が、前記スイングアーム(23)の車幅方向外側の側面(23b)より内側の位置で、前記リヤブレーキキャリパ(36)の前方に位置することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。
- 前記導風ダクト(160)の排気口(167)が、前記スイングアーム(23)の車幅方向外側の側面(23b)より内側の位置で、前記リヤブレーキキャリパ(36)の下方に位置することを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のブレーキキャリパの冷却構造。
