アノードセパレーターを、この場合にはFAP-0タイプのアニオン交換膜320のみから構成し、ポリマー隔膜321を配置しなかった他は、上記の実施例と同様に電解セルを組み立てた。同じ電流密度において、0.6L/分のアノード液210、1L/分のカソード液、及び0.7L/分のブライン510の流速を用いて試験を行った。かかる条件において、約6のpHの80ppmの遊離活性塩素を含む酸化性溶液220を連続的に生成させることができた。この試験中においては、再循環しているブライン510中において約2ppm/時の活性塩素の蓄積が観察された。試験は、約50時間後に、生成物溶液220のナトリウムイオンによる汚染によって検出されたアニオン膜の突然の腐食のために強制的に停止した。異なるアニオン膜(Selemion(登録商標)、Asahi Glassによって製造)を用いて試験を繰り返し、実質的に同様の結果が得られた。
Claims (8)
- アノードを含むアノード区画及びカソードを含むカソード区画を含み、アノードセパレーターとカソードセパレーターによって区切られている中間区画がその間に配置されており、カソードセパレーターはカソード区画と中間区画との間に配置されていて、カチオン交換膜を含んでおり、アノードセパレーターはアノード区画と中間区画との間に配置されていて、セラミック材料粒子に機械的に結合している有機ポリマー繊維のネットワークによって形成されている隔膜を含んでおり、隔膜は1以上の層でアニオン交換膜と密に接触して配置されており、アノードセパレーターは、隔膜から構成される主要面がアノードに面するように配向されている、酸化性溶液を製造するための電解セル。
- アノードセパレーターの隔膜が、ペルフッ素化ポリマー及び酸化ジルコニウムの厚さ0.1〜1mmの複合体テープで形成されている、請求項1に記載のセル。
- アノード区画に、水を供給する手段及び酸化性溶液を引き抜く手段が与えられており、カソード区画に、水を供給する手段及びアルカリ性カソード液を引き抜く手段が与えられており、中間区画に、アルカリ塩化物ブラインを再循環する手段が与えられている、請求項1又は2に記載のセル。
- 次の同時又は連続的工程:
・アノード区画に、及び任意にカソード区画に、水を供給し;
・中間区画を通してアルカリ塩化物ブラインを再循環し;
・アノードとカソードの間に直流電流を供給し;
・アノード区画から生成物の酸化性溶液を引き抜く;
工程を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のセル中において活性塩素を含む酸化性溶液を製造する方法。 - アノード及びカソード区画に供給する水が7°f以下の硬度を有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- アルカリ塩化物ブラインの再循環を、再循環されるアルカリ塩化物ブライン中の遊離塩素のレベルを減少させることができる分解触媒(たとえばRuO2又はCo3O4ベースの分解触媒)を含む外部容器を通して行う、請求項4又は5に記載の方法。
- アノード区画から引き抜かれる酸化性溶液が4〜6.9のpHを有する、請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- アルカリ塩化物ブラインが飽和塩化ナトリウムブラインである、請求項4〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
