Description
Claims (27)
- 第1のマイクロカプセルと、
酸素開始の架橋能を有する不飽和多官能性樹脂と、
水に不要であり、かつ沸点が225℃以上であり、かつ誘電率が5.0以上である極性非プロトン性溶媒と、
を含み、
前記不飽和多官能性樹脂および前記極性非プロトン性溶媒が第1のマイクロカプセル内に配置されることを特徴とする自己修復ポリマー材料。 - 前記不飽和多官能性樹脂はアルキド樹脂を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記アルキド樹脂は、脂肪酸と、三官能性アルコールと、酸または酸無水物とから形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自己修復材料。
- 前記アルキド樹脂はテレケリック末端基を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記テレケリック末端基は、エポキシ基、イソシアネート基、ポリオール基、シラノール基、ビニル末端シラン基、ビニル基、不飽和脂肪酸または不飽和官能基を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記三官能性アルコールは、グリセロールまたは三官能性シラノールを含むか、またはフッ素化官能基、エポキシ官能基、ビニル官能基もしくはイソシアネート官能基を含む三官能性アルコールを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記第1のマイクロカプセル内に配置された、誘電率が5.0未満である非極性溶媒をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記非極性溶媒は、キシレン、エチルベンゼン、または誘電率が5.0未満である低極性アセテートを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記極性溶媒は、
a.前記マイクロカプセル内の極性環境を維持し、
b.蒸気圧が20℃で0.5mmHg未満であり、
c.LD50(経口、ラット)値が3000mg/kg以上であり、あるいは
d.a〜cのいずれかの組み合わせを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。 - 前記極性非プロトン性溶媒は、エチルフェニルアセテート、フェニルエチルアセテートまたはフェニルエチルフェニルアセテートを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 請求項1に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料を含み、コーティング、樹脂、接着剤、熱硬化性複合材、熱可塑性複合材またはシーラントであることを特徴とする組成物。
- 前記組成物がコーティングであり、前記コーティングは、ポリ尿素を有するコーティング、ポリエチレンを有するコーティング、エポキシを有するコーティング、ポリウレタンを有するコーティング、エポキシビニルエステルを有するコーティング、アクリルを有するコーティング、アルキドを有するコーティング、またはシリコーンを有するコーティングを含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 前記コーティングはパウダーコーティングを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の組成物。
- 前記コーティングは、ドローダウンバー塗布技術、スプレー塗布技術、エアレススプレー塗布技術、または静電スプレー塗布技術によって塗布されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の組成物。
- 触媒または硬化剤を含む第2のマイクロカプセルをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記触媒は、コバルト錯体、マンガン錯体、鉄錯体、セリウム錯体、バナジウム錯体、ジルコニウム錯体、ビスマス錯体、バリウム錯体、アルミニウム錯体、カルシウム錯体、亜鉛錯体、リチウム錯体またはカリウム錯体を含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記マイクロカプセルは、尿素ホルムアルデヒド、ポリウレタン、メラミン−ホルムアルデヒド、ポリアクリレートまたはこれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 前記マイクロカプセルの平均径は、0.5μm〜100μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自己修復ポリマー材料。
- 酸素開始の架橋能を有する不飽和多官能性樹脂と、水に不要であり、かつ沸点が225℃以上であり、かつ誘電率が5.0以上である極性非プロトン性溶媒を準備するステップと、
前記不飽和多官能性樹脂および前記極性非プロトン性溶媒を共にマイクロカプセル化して自己修復ポリマー材料を作製するステップと
を備えることを特徴とする自己修復ポリマー材料の作製方法。 - 前記不飽和多官能性樹脂を準備するステップは、アルキド樹脂を準備するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記アルキド樹脂を準備するステップは、脂肪酸と、三官能性アルコールと、酸または酸無水物とから形成されたアルキド樹脂を準備するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記アルキド樹脂を準備するステップは、テレケリック末端基を含むアルキド樹脂を準備するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記アルキド樹脂を準備するステップは、エポキシ基、イソシアネート基、ポリオール基、シラノール基、ビニル末端シラン基、ビニル基、不飽和脂肪酸または不飽和官能基を含むテレケリック末端基を含むアルキド樹脂を準備するステップを備えることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。
- 誘電率が5.0未満である非極性溶媒を準備するステップと、
前記非極性溶媒を前記不飽和多官能性樹脂および前記極性非プロトン性溶媒と共にマイクロカプセル化するステップと
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。 - マイクロカプセル化された極性非プロトン性溶媒の濃度を高めることによって、前記不飽和多官能性樹脂の早期の酸素開始架橋を低減させ、マイクロカプセル化された極性非プロトン性溶媒の濃度を低減させることによって、前記不飽和多官能性樹脂の硬化時間を縮小させることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
- 別にマイクロカプセル化された触媒または硬化剤を準備するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- マイクロカプセル化された不飽和多官能性樹脂を、コーティング、重合された樹脂、接着剤、熱硬化性複合材、熱可塑性複合材またはシーラントに添加するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
