Description
本実施形態に係る燃料ポンプは車両に搭載されている。燃料ポンプによる圧送対象の流体は、内燃機関の燃焼に用いる液体燃料である。具体的には、自着火圧縮式の内燃機関の燃焼に用いられる軽油を圧送対象としており、燃料ポンプは燃料タンク内に配置されている。
上記第1実施形態に係る凹部116rは、図13に示すように、軸方向に対して垂直な断面の形状が矩形である。これに対し、本実施形態に係る凹部116raは、図14に示すように、断面三角形の形状に形成されている。
図15に示すように、本実施形態に係る凹部116rbの、軸方向に対して垂直な断面の形状は、矩形の角部を湾曲させた形状である。
上述した各凹部116r、116ra、116rbは、左右対称の断面形状に形成されている。これに対し本実施形態では、図16に示すように、左右非対称の形状に凹部116rcを形成している。具体的には、凹部116rcのうち回転方向Ri,Roの反対側に位置する壁面の傾斜を、回転方向Ri,Roの反対側に位置する壁面に比べて大きくする。より具体的には、回転方向Ri,Roの反対側に位置する壁面を、回転中心に向かって延びる形状にする。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、当該実施形態に限定して解釈されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内において種々の実施形態に適用することができる。
Claims (3)
- 外歯(122)を有するインナロータ(120)と、
前記外歯と噛み合う内歯(132a)を有するアウタロータ(130)と、
前記アウタロータおよび前記インナロータを収容するとともに、前記内歯と前記外歯の間で容積変化するポンプ室(140)を形成するケーシング(116)と、
円筒形状に形成され、前記ケーシングが円筒内部に圧入されるハウジング(102)と、
を備え、
前記ケーシングの外周面(116g)の周方向の所定部位には、前記外周面の径方向中心側に凹む凹部(116r、116ra、116rb、116rc)が形成されており、
前記凹部は、前記ケーシングの軸方向の所定範囲(Wr)に部分的に形成されていることを特徴とする燃料ポンプ。 - 前記ケーシングは、前記ハウジングに圧入される圧入部(116p)と、前記圧入部に対して軸方向に隣接配置され、圧入作業時に前記圧入部へ前記ハウジングをガイドするガイド部(116q)と、を有し、
前記所定範囲には、前記圧入部の全域(Wp)が含まれていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料ポンプ。 - 回転駆動する回転軸(104a)と、
前記インナロータに対して軸方向に並べて配置され、前記回転軸の回転トルクを前記インナロータへ伝達するよう前記インナロータと前記回転軸を連結するジョイント部材(160)と、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料ポンプ。
