Description
図5はこの発明の実施形態における制御装置で実行可能な制御の参考例を説明するためのフローチャートであって、エンジン6の燃料噴射を止めるなどエンジン6の運転を止めて走行している場合に実行される。より具体的には、いずれかのモータ7,11でエネルギ回生を行いつつ走行している場合や、第2モータ11による駆動トルクもしくは第2モータ11および第1モータ7による駆動トルクによって走行するEVモードが設定されている場合に実行される。先ず、旋回走行とエンジン6の始動とが重畳するか否かが判断される。例えば、エンジン始動の要求が有るか否か(ステップS1)と、旋回走行中か否か(ステップS2)が判断される。これらの判断の順序は特に限定するものではなく、いずれが先であってもよい。
なお、上述したステップS3の制御、すなわち第1モータ7によってエンジン6をモータリングすることに伴うステア特性の変化を第2モータ11のトルクを変化させて防止もしくは抑制する制御は、ハイブリッド車両1がEVモードで走行している場合に実行するように構成することができる。その制御は、例えば前述したステップS3の制御を行う前に、EVモードが設定されているか否かの判断を行い、その判断の結果が肯定的である場合に、ステップS3の制御を行うように構成すればよい。その一例を図7に示してある。図7に示す制御例はこの発明の実施形態における制御装置で実行可能な制御の参考例であり、上記の図5に示すフローチャートにおけるステップS1に続けてEVモードが設定されているか否かを判断するステップS101を設け、そのステップS101で肯定的に判断された場合にステップS2以降の各ステップの制御を行うように構成した例である。したがって、ステップS101以外は、上記の図5に示す制御例と同じであるから、図7には図5と同様の符号を付してその説明を省略する。なお、ステップS101で否定的に判断された場合には、ステップS4に進んで直ちにエンジン6を始動する制御が実行される。
参考として、ハイブリッド車両1は、エンジン6で後輪3を駆動するように構成されていてもよく、またEVモードでは第2モータ11の出力トルクで走行し、あるいは二つのモータ7,11の出力トルクで走行してもよい。したがって、旋回走行時の前輪2および後輪3の車輪トルクの状態は、ハイブリッド車両1の駆動形式やその時点の各モータ7,11の動作状態に応じて様々である。したがって、制御装置は、ハイブリッド車両1の駆動形式やその時点の各モータ7,11の動作状態に応じた制御を行うように構成されている。以下、その参考例を説明する。なお、以下に説明する各制御は、一連の制御ルーチンとして実行してもよいが、説明を簡単にするために個別の制御ルーチンとして説明する。
つぎに各モータ7,11によって走行するEVモードでの制御例を説明する。図9はその制御の一例を説明するためのフローチャートであって、先ず、エンジン6を始動する要求があるか否かが判断される(ステップS21)。この判断は、前述した図5に示すステップS1の判断と同様にして行うことができる。ステップS21で否定的に判断された場合には、特に制御を行うことなくリターンする。これに対してステップS21で肯定的に判断された場合には、その時点のEVモードが各モータ7,11を駆動して走行するモード(いわゆる両駆動モード)か否かが判断される(ステップS22)。この判断は、各モータ7,11に対する制御指令信号の出力状態に基づいて行うことができる。
図10に示す制御例は、図9に示す制御例とは反対に、前輪2の駆動トルク分担率ΔTdfが小さい場合の例である。図10に示す制御例で前輪2の駆動トルク分担率ΔTdfの大小を判定するための所定値は前述した基準値αとは異なる値であってもよいが、その基準値αを採用することもできる。以下の説明では、前記基準値αによって前輪2の駆動トルク分担率ΔTdfの大小を判断する例を説明する。
前述したように、前輪2の車輪トルクが低下すると横力が増大して、オーバーステア側にステア特性が変化する。また、後輪3の車輪トルクが低下すると横力が増大して、アンダーステア側にステア特性が変化する。したがって、エンジン6をモータリングすることに伴って車輪トルクが低下する車輪が前輪2の場合と、後輪3の場合とでは、制御の内容が異なる場合がある。エンジン6のモータリングに伴って車輪トルクが低下する車輪が前輪2である例は、上記の第2〜5制御例に示したとおりである。これとは異なり、エンジン6および第1モータ7が後輪3に連結され、かつ第2モータ11が前輪2に連結されている場合には、以下に説明するように制御する。
前輪2と後輪3とを入れ替えた参考例を説明する。前述した図9に示す制御例において、前輪2と後輪3とを入れ替えて、第2モータ11によって前輪2を駆動し、第1モータ7およびエンジン6を後輪3に連結した場合、エンジン6をモータリングすることに伴って後輪3の駆動トルクが低下してその横力が増大することになる。その場合、後輪3の駆動トルク分担率が小さくなっていて後輪3の横力が大きく、したがってアンダーステア側のステア特性になっている。この状態で、エンジン6をモータリングすることにより後輪3に反力トルクが作用すると、その反力トルクがエンジン6の始動制御前のトルクより大きくなって制動方向に作用する場合がある。その場合、後輪3の横力が低下し、ステア特性をオーバーステア側に変化させる作用が生じる。このようなステア特性の変化を抑制するためには、駆動トルク分担率が大きい前輪2の横力を低下させることになるから、前輪2に連結されている第2モータ11の出力トルクを増大させる。すなわち、図9に示すステップS25での第2モータ11のトルクの制御とは、トルクの変化の方向が反対の制御を行うことになる。
前輪2と後輪3とを入れ替えた他の参考例を説明する。図10の制御例において、前輪2と後輪3とを入れ替えて、第2モータ11によって前輪2を駆動し、第1モータ7およびエンジン6を後輪3に連結した場合、エンジン6をモータリングすることに伴って後輪3の駆動トルクが低下してその横力が増大することになる。その場合、後輪3の駆動トルク分担率が大きくなっていて後輪3の横力が小さく、したがってオーバーステア側のステア特性になっている。この状態で、エンジン6をモータリングすることにより後輪3に反力トルクが作用すると、後輪3の駆動トルクが低下してその横力が増大し、ステア特性をアンダーステア側に変化させる作用が生じる。このようなステア特性の変化を抑制するためには、駆動トルク分担率が小さい前輪2の横力を増大させることになるから、前輪2に連結されている第2モータ11の出力トルクを低下させる。すなわち、図10に示すステップS35での第2モータ11のトルクの制御とは、トルクの変化の方向が反対の制御を行うことになる。
この発明の実施形態における制御装置は、旋回走行時の横力をモータ7,11の出力トルクによって制御するように構成されている。この旋回走行の判定もしくは検出は、前述したように各種のセンサによって行うことができる。これに替えて、旋回走行を予測し、その予測結果に基づいてモータ7,11の出力トルクを前述したように制御してもよい。旋回走行の予測は、ナビゲーションシステムの地図データとGPSシステムで得られる自車両の位置データとを利用して行うことができる。あるいは自動運転システムで得られる数秒先の走行計画のデータを利用して行うことができる。また、旋回走行の予測には、旋回方向、旋回半径、車速、旋回走行距離、旋回走行路面の勾配などの予測が含まれていてよく、これらのデータに基づいて旋回走行の判断を事前に行い、また旋回走行時の駆動力制御を行うこととしてもよい。このようないわゆる予測制御を行えば、旋回走行時にエンジン6を始動する場合のステア特性の変化をより確実に防止もしくは抑制して走行安定性を向上させることができる。

- 前輪に対して駆動トルクを出力できるエンジンおよび第1モータと、前記エンジンのトルクが入力される第1回転要素と前記第1モータのトルクが入力される第2回転要素と前記前輪に向けてトルクを出力する第3回転要素との少なくとも三つの回転要素とを有する差動機構とを備えた第1駆動系統と、後輪に対して駆動トルクを出力できる第2モータを有する第2駆動系統とを備え、かつ前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングして前記エンジンを始動することのできるハイブリッド車の制御装置において、
前記第1モータおよび前記第2モータを制御するコントローラを備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記前輪が操舵されかつ前記エンジンの運転が停止されるとともに前記ハイブリッド車両が旋回走行する状態で、前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングして前記エンジンを始動する場合に、
前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングすることに伴う前記前輪の駆動トルクの変化による前記ハイブリッド車両のステア特性の変化を抑制する方向に前記第2モータの出力トルクを制御し、
前記第1モータの出力トルクおよび前記第2モータの出力トルクによって前記旋回走行を行う場合の前記ハイブリッド車両の全駆動トルクに対する前記前輪の駆動トルクの割合である前輪駆動トルク分担率が予め定めた基準値以上であることを判定し、
前記前輪駆動トルク分担率が前記基準値以上である状態で、かつ前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングする場合に、前記ステア特性の変化を抑制する方向の前記第2モータの出力トルクの制御を、前記第2モータの出力トルクを低下させる制御とするように構成されている
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前輪に対して駆動トルクを出力できるエンジンおよび第1モータと、前記エンジンのトルクが入力される第1回転要素と前記第1モータのトルクが入力される第2回転要素と前記前輪に向けてトルクを出力する第3回転要素との少なくとも三つの回転要素とを有する差動機構とを備えた第1駆動系統と、後輪に対して駆動トルクを出力できる第2モータを有する第2駆動系統とを備え、かつ前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングして前記エンジンを始動することのできるハイブリッド車の制御装置において、
前記第1モータおよび前記第2モータを制御するコントローラを備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記前輪が操舵されかつ前記エンジンの運転が停止されるとともに前記ハイブリッド車両が旋回走行する状態で、前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングして前記エンジンを始動する場合に、
前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングすることに伴う前記前輪の駆動トルクの変化による前記ハイブリッド車両のステア特性の変化を抑制する方向に前記第2モータの出力トルクを制御し、
前記第1モータの出力トルクおよび前記第2モータの出力トルクによって前記旋回走行を行う場合の前記ハイブリッド車両の全駆動トルクに対する前記前輪の駆動トルクの割合である前輪駆動トルク分担率が予め定めた基準値未満であることを判定し、
前記前輪駆動トルク分担率が前記基準値未満である状態で、かつ前記第1モータによって前記エンジンをモータリングする場合に、前記ステア特性の変化を抑制する方向の前記第2モータの出力トルクの制御を、前記第2モータの出力トルクを増大させる制御とするように構成されている
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両用駆動装置において、
前記コントローラは、前記ステア特性の変化を抑制する方向に前記第2モータの出力トルクを変化させる場合に、前記第2モータの出力トルクを予め定めた変化率で徐々に変化させるように構成されていることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両用駆動装置において、
前記コントローラは、前記ステア特性の変化を抑制する方向に前記第2モータの出力トルクを制御した後の前記前輪および前記後輪でのトルクを合算した合計トルクの方向が前記ハイブリッド車両を加速させる方向のトルクとなるように前記第1モータおよび第2モータの出力トルクを更に制御するように構成されていることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。
