Claims (15)
- 1枚の金属鋼板からロール成形されるレインフォースメントビームであって、車両用バンパーレインフォースメントビームと溶接部とを備え、
前記車両用バンパーレインフォースメントビームは、1枚の金属鋼板が、共通の中央壁と、前記共通の中央壁の対向する両側から延在する側方部分とを含むように形成された、隣り合う筒状部を備え、
前記側方部分が内部容積を有し、
前記共通の中央壁と平行な、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの上壁部及び底壁部を画定し、
互いに同一平面上に位置合わせされるとともに前記共通の中央壁に対して垂直な、前壁部及び後壁部を画定し、
前記隣り合う筒状部は、それぞれ、チャネルリブを含み、
前記チャネルリブは、前記前壁部の各部を強化するために、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの長手方向に沿った、前記隣り合う筒状部の前記内部容積に窪んだ前壁部の一部によって画定され、
前記前壁部に沿って及び前記後壁部に沿って、前記隣り合う筒状部の間に、シームが画定され、前記シームはおよそ3〜9mmの曲げ半径で形成され、前記金属鋼板の前記側方部分の縁部にロール成形され、前記縁部のそれぞれの先端が前記共通の中央壁に当接し、連続的に接触し、
前記溶接部は、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの前記前壁部の前記シーム及び前記後壁部の前記シームのそれぞれにおいて、独立して形成され、
前記溶接部は、溶接ステーションの溶接機によって形成されるように構成され、
前記溶接ステーションは、前記溶接部を形成するときに前記シームを実質的に閉じるように、連続した矩形状断面を適切に保持し、かつ前記共通の中央壁に対して前記金属鋼板の側縁部を保持し、
前記縁部の一方の曲げ半径を有する後部割れ目リブが、前記後壁部の前記シームに沿った溶接によって画定され、
前記縁部の他方の曲げ半径を有する前部割れ目リブが、前記チャネルリブの間の前記前壁部の前記シームに沿った溶接によって画定され、
前記前部割れ目リブ及び前記後部割れ目リブは、前記共通の中央壁と概略一列に並び、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの曲げ強度及び捩り強度を向上させ、
前記溶接部は、前記レインフォースメントビームの前記前壁部及び前記後壁部の外面の内側にある取付け位置で、前記前部割れ目リブ及び前記後部割れ目リブのそれぞれの前記シームに形成される、1枚の金属鋼板から形成されるレインフォースメントビーム。 - 前記溶接部は、それぞれ、レーザー溶接により形成された、接合された材料の連続片を有する請求項1に記載のレインフォースメントビーム。
- 車両用バンパーの空気力学的形状と一致するために、前記隣り合う筒状部は、前記共通な中央壁と平行な面において、前記隣り合う筒状部の長さの、少なくとも一部に沿って長手方向に湾曲する請求項1に記載のレインフォースメントビーム。
- 前記チャネルリブは、前記それぞれの筒状部の前面の概ね中央に位置し、

前記共通の中央壁と平行な、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの上壁部及び底壁部を画定し、かつ互いに同一平面上に位置合わせされるとともに前記共通の中央壁に対して垂直な、前壁部及び後壁部を画定するように曲げられ、
前記前壁部に沿って及び前記後壁部に沿って、前記隣り合う筒状部の間に、シームが設けられ、
前記シームはおよそ3〜9mmの曲げ半径で形成され、前記金属鋼板の前記側方部分の縁部にロール成形され、前記縁部のそれぞれの先端が前記共通の中央壁に当接し、
前記溶接部は、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの前壁部及び後壁部の前記シームのそれぞれにおいて、形成され、
前記溶接部は、溶接ステーションの溶接機によって形成されるように構成され、
前記溶接ステーションは、前記溶接部を形成するときに前記シームを実質的に閉じるように、連続した矩形状断面を適切に保持し、かつ前記共通の中央壁に対して前記縁部を保持し、
前記縁部の一方の曲げ半径を有する後部割れ目リブが、前記後壁部の前記シームに沿った溶接によって与えられ、
前記縁部の他方の曲げ半径を有する前部割れ目リブが、前記それぞれの前壁部の一部に形成された前記チャネルリブの間にある、前記前壁部上の前記シームに沿った溶接によって与えられ、

前記溶接部は、前記レインフォースメントビームの前記前壁部及び前記後壁部の外面の内側にある取付け位置で、前記前部割れ目リブ及び前記後部割れ目リブのそれぞれの前記シームに形成される、1枚の金属鋼板からロール成形される車両用レインフォースメントビーム。 - 前記溶接部は、それぞれ、レーザー溶接により形成された、接合された材料の連続片を有する請求項9に記載の車両用レインフォースメントビーム。
- 前記隣り合う筒状部は前記チャネルリブの一つを含み、
前記チャネルリブは、前記前壁部を強化するために、前記それぞれの隣り合う筒状部の前記内部容積に突出し、前記バンパーレインフォースメントビームの長手方向に沿って延在する請求項9に記載の車両用レインフォースメントビーム。 - 前記チャネルリブは、前記それぞれの隣り合う筒状部の前面の概ね中央に位置し、
前記割れ目リブと平行に並んで形成される請求項11に記載の車両用レインフォースメントビーム。 - 前記チャネルリブは、前記側方部分を同時に屈曲させる間に、ロール成形され、
前記金属鋼板の厚さの少なくとも2倍の深さ、前記内部容積に突出する請求項12に記載の車両用レインフォースメントビーム。 - 丸みのある角部が前記共通の中央壁と側方部分との間で、前記縁部が前記共通な中央壁と当接して接触し、かつ前記丸みのある角部が、前記縁部で、実質的に対称となる曲げ半径となるように、前記共通の中央壁と前記側方部分との間に定められ、それによって前記縁部に対向して前記シームの側面が定められる請求項9に車両用レインフォースメントビーム。
- 前記金属鋼板は、1.2mmよりも小さい厚さを有し、
250ksiより大きい引張強度を有する請求項9に記載の車両用レインフォースメントビーム。
