0.8重量%のジビニルベンゼン(DVB)
80重量%のスチレン(STY)
(水性分散液中に安定化剤として存在する5重量%のPVOHを更に伴う)
3.Rhoplex P−308結合剤 005861575 49.5
1.32%の固形分の50グラムの配合物を、列挙された通りに調製し、使用前にGRINポリマー粒子の分散液のpHが9.5に調整されていることを確認した。
2.これらを透明なマイラフィルム上に所望の被覆重量でコーティングした。
3.コーティングされたマイラフィルムに熱(120℃、10分間)を加える前後に、Technidyne Corporation(New Albany,Indiana,USA)が市販しているOpacity Tester(Model 425)を使用して不透明度を測定した。
4.熱(120℃、10分間)をコーティングされたマイラフィルムに印加する前後に、Technidyne Corporationがまた市販しているBrightness Tester(Model S4−M)を使用して、輝度を測定した。これら測定で使用される標準は、輝度について84.4と評価された。
Claims (6)
- 単相ディフューザーポリマー粒子を含む感熱層を有する感熱記録材料であって、前記単相ディフューザーポリマー粒子のそれぞれが、その表面における屈折率(RIsurface)とその中心における屈折率(RIcenter)が異なり、その中心からその表面まで連続的な屈折率勾配を有し、前記感熱層が熱変形可能な粒子及び結合剤を更に含む、感熱記録材料。
- 前記感熱層が、該感熱層の前記総乾燥重量を基準として、10〜70重量%のディフューザーポリマー粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記ディフューザーポリマー粒子が、C1−C8アルキル(メタ)アクリレート及びスチレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記ディフューザーポリマー粒子が、1.46〜1.61のRIcenterを有する、請求項1に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記ディフューザーポリマー粒子が、0.85〜15ミクロンの粒径を有する、請求項1に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 画像を提供するための方法であって、
請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の記録材料の選択された部分を、前記選択された部分の前記不透明度を低減するのに十分な、熱又は熱及び圧力の組み合わせに曝す工程を含む、方法。
