Description
a.一種又は二種以上のゼオタイプ材料、又はメソ多孔質のアモルファスシリケート材料を提供する工程;
b.工程aの材料を脱アルミネート化するか又は脱ボロネート化する工程;
c.工程bの生成物に、活性金属を含浸させるか、又は該生成物と活性金属とを混合する工程;
d.任意に、金属イオンを工程cに添加する工程;
e.任意に、工程c又はdの生成物を乾燥させる工程;
f.工程c、d及びeの生成物をか焼する工程。
ステンレス鋼の圧力容器(40cc、Swagelok)に、メタノール(15.0g;Sigma−Aldrich、>99.8%)の金属塩溶液(金属イオン源)、ショ糖(0.450g;Fluka、>99.0%)及び触媒(0.150g)を仕込む。反応装置を閉じて、撹拌しながら(700rpm)160℃に加熱する。160℃において反応を16時間継続させ、そしてこの期間の後、容器を冷水中に沈めることによって反応を急冷させる。その反応容器からの試料をろ過し、そしてHPLC(Agilent 1200、Biorad Aminex HPX−87Hカラム、65℃、0.05MのH2SO4, 0.6 ml min−1)により分析し、未転化のヘキソース、及びジヒドロキシアセトン(DHA)、グリセルアルデヒド(GLA)を定量し、そしてGC(Phenomenex Solgelwaxカラムを備えたAgilent 7890)を用いて、乳酸メチル(ML)、ビニルグリコール酸メチル(MVG、2−ヒドロキシ−3−ブテン酸メチル)及びグリコールアルデヒド酢酸ジメチル(GADMA)を定量した。
方法Aで説明したように、ショ糖から乳酸メチルを製造する方法であるが、反応時間は4時間である。
触媒A[Sn−BEA(Si/Sn=125)]:
市販のゼオライトベータ(Zeolyst、Si/Al 12.5、アンモニウム形態)をか焼(550℃で6時間)して、ゼオライトベータH形態(脱アルミネート化形態)を得、そして、ゼオライトベータ粉末1g当たり10グラムの濃硝酸(Sigma−Aldrich、65%)で80℃において12時間処理する。得られた固形物をろ過し、十分な水で洗浄し、そしてか焼(550℃で6時間)して、脱アルミネート化されたベータ固形物を得る。
金属イオンを含むSn−BEA(Si/Sn=125)を、前述の手順(触媒Aの調製)を変更して調製する。市販のゼオライトベータ(Zeolyst、Si/Al 12.5、アンモニウム形態)をか焼(550℃で6時間)して、ゼオライトベータH形態(脱アルミネート化形態)を得、そして、ゼオライトベータ粉末1g当たり10グラムの濃厚化硝酸(Sigma−Aldrich、65%)で80℃において12時間処理する。得られた固形物をろ過し、十分な水で洗浄し、そしてか焼(550℃で6時間)して、脱アルミネート化されたベータ固形物を得る。
米国特許第6,306,364 B1号明細書(特許文献3)に記載されている経路を変更して、Sn−BEA(Si/Sn=200)を調製する。TEOS(30.6g;Aldrich、98%)をTEAOH(33.1g;Sigma−Aldrich、水中の35%)に撹拌しながら添加し、二相系を形成させる。60〜90分後、一つの相が得られる。
市販のゼオライトY(Zeolyst、Si/Al 50、水素形態)を、ゼオライトベータ粉末1g当たり10グラムの濃厚化硝酸(Sigma−Aldrich、65%)で80℃において12時間処理する。得られた固形物をろ過し、十分な水で洗浄し、そしてか焼(550℃で6時間)して、脱アルミネート化されたYを得る。
Li, L. 等の[Green Chem. 2011, 13, 1175−1181](非特許文献10)に記載されている方法に従って、Sn−MCM−41を調製する。典型的な合成において、ヘキサデシルトリメチルアンモニウムブロミド(13.0g;CTABr、Sigma、>98%)を、水(38.0g)に溶解させる。テトラメチルアンモニウムシリケート(26.4g;TMAS、Aldrich、水中の15〜20重量%)をゆっくり添加する。その混合物を50分間撹拌する。
触媒A及び金属塩(金属イオン源)を用いて方法A(16時間反応)を行った。結果を表1に示す。

金属イオンの濃度を変えて、方法B(4時間反応)を行った。金属イオン源として使用した金属塩はK2CO3である。触媒Bを用いる。結果を表6に示す。

Claims (14)
- メタロシリケート材料、金属イオン及び溶媒の存在下で、糖から乳酸及び2−ヒドロキシ−3−ブテン酸又はそれらのエステルを製造する方法において、該方法が、該糖をメタロシリケート材料に接触させることを含み、その際、該金属イオンが、カリウムイオン、ナトリウムイオン、リチウムイオン、ルビジウムイオン及びセシウムイオンからなる群の一種又は二種以上から選択される、上記の方法。
- 前記金属イオンが、K2CO3、KNO3、KCl、酢酸カリウム(CH3CO2K)、乳酸カリウム(CH3CH(OH)CO2K)、Na2CO3、Li2CO3及びRb2CO3からなる群から選択される一種又は二種以上の化合物を上記の方法に添加することによって得ることができる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、BEA、MFI、FAU、MOR、FER、MCM及びSBAからなる群から選択されるフレームワーク構造物を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、BEA、MFI、FAU、MOR、FER、MCM及びSBAからなる群から選択されるフレームワーク構造物を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、Sn、Ti、Pb、Zr、Ge及びHfからなる群の一種又は二種以上から選択される活性金属を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、Sn−BEA、Sn−MFI、Sn−FAU、Sn−MCM−41及びSn−SBA−15からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記糖が、グルコース、フルクトース、マンノース、ショ糖、キシロース、エリトロース、エリトルロース、トレオース及びグリコールアルデヒドからなる群の一種又は二種以上から選択される、請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒が、メタノール、エタノール、1−プロパノール、1−ブタノール及び水からなる群の一種又は二種以上から選択される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記乳酸のエステルが、乳酸メチル又は乳酸エチルである、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記乳酸メチルの収率が69%以上である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、合成後プロセスを用いて製造される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、脱アルミネート化又は脱ボロネート化されたゼオタイプ材料、又はメソ多孔質アモルファスシリケート材料に、Sn、Ti、Pb、Zr、Ge及びHfからなる群から選択される一種または二種以上の金属である活性金属を含浸させることによって製造される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記メタロシリケート材料が、脱アルミネート化又は脱ボロネート化されたゼオタイプ材料、又はメソ多孔質アモルファスシリケート材料に、Sn、Ti、Pb、Zr、Ge及びHfからなる群から選択される一種または二種以上の金属である活性金属及び、カリウムイオン、ナトリウムイオン、リチウムイオン、ルビジウムイオン及びセシウムイオンからなる群の一種又は二種以上から選択される金属イオンを含浸させることによって製造される、請求項1〜12のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、連続法として行われる、請求項1〜13のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
