Description
Bは、8〜17個の炭素原子をもつスチレンモノマー、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつアルキル(メタ)アクリレート、アシル基に1〜11個の炭素原子をもつビニルエステル、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつビニルエーテル、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつ(ジ)アルキルフマレート、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつ(ジ)アルキルマレエート及びこれらのモノマーの混合物からなる群から選択される低分子量モノマーから誘導される繰り返し単位の種類の数であり;
naは、櫛形ポリマー分子中のa型のポリオレフィンベースのマクロモノマーから誘導される繰り返し単位の数であり;
nbは、櫛形ポリマー分子中のb型の8〜17個の炭素原子をもつスチレンモノマー、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつアルキル(メタ)アクリレート、アシル基に1〜11個の炭素原子をもつビニルエステル、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつビニルエーテル、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつ(ジ)アルキルフマレート、アルコール基に1〜10個の炭素原子をもつ(ジ)アルキルマレエート及びそれらモノマーの混合物からなる群から選択される低分子量モノマーから誘導される繰り返し単位の数である}。
それぞれ最高0.5重量%、最高0.8重量%及び最高1.5重量%の硫酸灰分含有量(ASTM D874に準拠);
それぞれ最高0.05重量%、最高0.08重量%及び通常、最高0.1重量%のリン含有量(ASTM D5185に準拠);及び
それぞれ最高0.2重量%、最高0.3重量%及び通常、最高0.5重量%の硫黄含有量(ASTM D5185に準拠)を意味する。
それぞれ最高1重量%、最高1重量%及び最高2重量%の硫酸灰分含有量(ASTM D874に準拠);
それぞれ最高0.08重量%(低SAPS)及び、最高0.12重量%(中間SAPS)のリン含有量(ASTM D5185に準拠);及び
それぞれ最高0.3重量%(低SAPS)及び最高0.4重量%(中間SAPS)の硫黄含有量(ASTM D5185に準拠)を意味する。
クランク室エンジンで使用するための様々なエンジンオイルを配合した。
表2の結果は、本発明の潤滑組成物が、驚くほどに燃費が改善され、ピストン清浄性が改善され、高温付着物形成が低下し、及び煤煙分散性が改善されたことを明示する。GTLと櫛型ポリマーの両方の組み合わせがあるときのみに、ピストン清浄性と高温付着物形成の軽減と共に、燃費という利益が観察される。
Claims (2)
- 高温付着物形成の低下を達成し、且つ持続的な燃費特性を改善するための、エンジンのクランク室における改善されたピストン清浄特性を有する潤滑組成物の使用であって、前記潤滑組成物が、基油と一種以上の添加剤とを含み、前記基油はフィシャー-トロプシュ誘導基油を含み、且つ前記潤滑組成物は全組成物量に対して1〜8.5%の櫛形ポリマーViscoplex(登録商標)3−201を含む、前記潤滑組成物の使用。
- 前記フィッシャー−トロプシュ誘導基油が、100℃において、2mm2/s〜10mm2/sの範囲の動粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の潤滑組成物の使用。
