Description
(a)グループIII基油、グループIVポリアルファオレフィンから選択される基油、またはこれらの組み合わせと、
(b)30重量%以下の溶解力増進剤と、
(c)アミン系酸化防止剤、フェノール系酸化防止剤、およびこれらの混合物から選択される酸化防止剤と、
(d)(i)TBN(全塩基価当量、ASTM D2896によって測定)が50から150の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレート;(ii)TBNが150から250の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレート;および(iii)TBNが250から400の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレートを含む清浄剤と
を含む、潤滑油組成物。
添加剤、基油および溶解力増進剤を様々な組み合わせで配合した。表1に、基油の特性を示す。表2に、それぞれの配合物に包含させた添加剤、基油および溶解力増進剤の量を示す。これらの量は、潤滑組成物の合計重量に基づく重量%で表示する。
表2に列挙した様々な潤滑組成物の酸化安定性を計測するため、ASTM D6186−08に従い、温度200℃、酸素200psigにて)潤滑組成物に対してHPDSC−OIT(高圧示差走査熱量測定)試験を行った。
表2に列挙した様々な潤滑組成物の酸化安定性を計測するため、ASTM D7097−09に従い、潤滑組成物に対してTEOST試験(熱酸化エンジンオイルシミュレーション試験)を行った。デポジットの重量が減少したことから、デポジットコントロール性が改善されていることが証明された。
表2に列挙した様々な潤滑組成物のデポジット抑制性を計測するため、JPI−5S−55−99に従い、潤滑組成物に対してKHTT試験(コマツホットチューブ試験)を280℃にて行った。メリット評点平均が高く、また、デポジットの秤量平均が低かったことから、デポジット抑制性が改善されていることが証明された。

3.チバスペシャリティケミカルズ、バーゼル、スイス(CIBA Speciality Chemicals,Basel,Switzerland)から市販されているオクチル化/ブチル化(DPA)
4.チバスペシャリティケミカルズ、バーゼル、スイス(CIBA Speciality Chemicals,Basel,Switzerland)から市販されている液体高分子量フェノール系酸化防止剤
5.インフィニュームインターナショナルリミテッド(Infineum International Ltd)(アビンドン、イギリス)から市販されている複核モリブデン−硫黄化合物
6.インフィニュームインターナショナルリミテッド(Infineum International Ltd)(アビンドン、イギリス)から市販されている低BI(塩基度指標)サリチレート清浄剤(Caベース)
7.インフィニュームインターナショナルリミテッド(Infineum International Ltd)アビンドン、イギリスから市販されている中BIサリチレート清浄剤(Caベース)
8.インフィニュームインターナショナルリミテッド(Infineum International Ltd)アビンドン、イギリスから市販されている高BIサリチレート清浄剤(Caベース)
9.商品名Priolube 3970でクローダインターナショナル社(Croda International PLC)から市販されているポリオールエステル
10.商品名KN 4006で中国石油天然気集団公司(China National Petroleum Corporation)から市販されているナフテン系基油
考察
表2の結果から分かるように、全体的な傾向として、本発明に係る潤滑組成物は、本発明の範囲外の潤滑組成物と比して、酸化安定性およびデポジットコントロール性が改善されている。
Claims (6)
- 潤滑油組成物であって、
(a)潤滑油組成物の合計重量に対して60重量%以上の基油と、ここで当該基油は、該基油の全量に基づいて80重量%より多い量のフィッシャー−トロプシュ由来基油を含有し、
(b)潤滑油組成物の全量に基づいて1重量%以上30重量%以下の溶解力増進剤と、ここで当該溶解力増進剤は、アルキル化ナフタレン、アルキルベンゼン、エステル、およびこれらの混合物から選択される1つ以上のものであり、
(c)アルキル化ジフェニルアミン酸化防止剤、フェノール系酸化防止剤、およびこれらの混合物から選択される酸化防止剤と、
(d)(i)TBN(全塩基価当量、ASTM D2896によって測定)が50から64の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレート;(ii)TBNが225から250の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレート;および(iii)TBNが250から400の範囲であるアルカリ土類金属サリチレートを含む清浄剤と、ここで潤滑油組成物の全量に基づいて(i)の含有量は1〜4重量%の範囲であり、(ii)の含有量は2〜3重量%の範囲であり、(iii)の含有量は0.01〜3重量%の範囲である、
を含む、潤滑油組成物。 - 前記基油が、フィッシャー−トロプシュ由来基油である、請求項1に記載の潤滑油組成物。
- アルカリ土類金属サリチレートが、カルシウムサリチレートである、請求項1または2に記載の潤滑油組成物。
- フィッシャー−トロプシュ由来基油の100℃での動粘度が、1mm2/sから35mm2/sである、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物。
- 酸化防止性、特にASTM D6186−08によって測定される酸化防止性の改善をもたらすための、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物の使用。
- デポジット抑制性、特にASTM D7097−09またはJPI−5S−55−99に従って測定されるデポジット抑制性の改善をもたらすための、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の潤滑油組成物の使用。
