Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態である製袋包装機1の斜視図である。製袋包装機1は、食品等の被包装物を袋詰めするための機械である。製袋包装機1は、主として、組合せ計量ユニット92と、製袋包装ユニット93と、フィルム供給ユニット94とから構成される。
図2は、製袋包装ユニット93の概略的な構成を示す斜視図である。以下の説明において、「前(正面)」、「後(背面)」、「上」、「下」、「左」および「右」からなる6つの方向を、図2に示されるように定義する。
成形機構73は、チューブ2とフォーマ2aとを有する。チューブ2は、上端および下端が開口している、円筒形状の部材である。チューブ2の上端の開口には、組合せ計量ユニット92から供給される被包装物Cが投入される。フォーマ2aは、チューブ2を取り囲むように配置されている。フィルム供給ユニット94のフィルムロールから繰り出されてきたフィルムFaは、チューブ2とフォーマ2aとの間の隙間を通過する際に、チューブ2に巻き付いて筒状に成形される。チューブ2およびフォーマ2aは、製造する袋Xの大きさに応じて取り替えることができる。
プルダウンベルト機構74は、チューブ2に巻き付いたフィルムFaを吸着しながら下方に搬送する。プルダウンベルト機構74は、主として、プーリ3a,3aおよび一対のプルダウンベルト3,3を有する。一対のプルダウンベルト3,3は、図2に示されるように、チューブ2の左右両側においてチューブ2を挟むように配置され、筒状に成形されたフィルムFaを吸着する機構を有する。プルダウンベルト機構74は、プーリ3a,3aによって一対のプルダウンベルト3,3が回転駆動することで、筒状に成形されたフィルムFaを下方に搬送する。
縦シール機構4は、筒状に成形されたフィルムFaを縦方向(図2では、上下方向)にシールする。縦シール機構4は、チューブ2の正面側に配置される。縦シール機構4は、駆動機構(図示せず)によって、チューブ2に近づくように、あるいは、チューブ2から遠ざかるように前後方向に移動する。
(2−4−1)全体構成
図3は、横シール機構5を右側から見た側面図である。筒状フィルムFはチューブ2の左右側方に配設された1対のプルダウンベルト3,3(図3には左側のもののみ図示)の走行により下方に引き降ろされつつ、チューブ2の正面側に配設された縦シール機構4により重なり合った両側縁部が縦シールされ、且つ、チューブ2の下方に配設された横シール機構5により幅方向に横シールされて袋Xとなる。その間、横シールと横シールとの間にチューブ2の上方から投入された物品(被包装物C)が袋Xに充填される。袋Xは横シール機構5に内蔵された図示しないカッターにより1つずつ切り離され、さらに生産ラインの下流に運ばれる。
次に、本実施形態におけるシールジョー11a,11bの軌跡について説明する。以下、必要に応じて、一対のシールジョー11a,11bを、それぞれ、第1シールジョー11aおよび第2シールジョー11bと呼ぶ。図9は、横シール機構5を右側から見た場合における、第1シールジョー11a、および、第2シールジョー11bの軌跡を表す図である。図9において、一対のシールジョー11a,11bの基準点の軌跡は、点線で示されている。
(3−1)全体的な動作
最初に、製袋包装機1が被包装物Cを袋Xに充填する動作の概略について説明する。フィルム供給ユニット94から成形機構73に供給されたフィルムFaは、チューブ2に巻き付けられて筒状に成形され、プルダウンベルト機構74によって下方に搬送される。チューブ2に巻き付けられた筒状のフィルムFaは、上下方向に延びる両端部が重ね合わせられている。筒状に成形されたフィルムFaの重なり部分は、縦シール機構4によって縦方向にシールされ、筒状フィルムFが形成される。
次に、製袋包装機1の横シール機構5の詳細な動作について、図10〜16を参照しながら説明する。図10〜16は、それぞれ、図9に示される軌跡上の点I〜VIIにおける横シール機構5を右側から見た状態を表す。図10〜16では、横シール機構5の動作を理解しやすくするために、横シール機構5の構成要素として、一対のシールジョー11a,11b、一対のしごき部材55,75および一対のシャッタ58,78のみが示されている。横シール機構5は、図10〜16に示される順番で駆動することで、袋Xの上端部と、後続の袋の下端部とを同時に横シールする。一対のしごき部材55,75および一対のシャッタ58,78は、同じタイミングで開閉する。

製袋包装機1は、筒状フィルムFの搬送が停止している状態で、横シール機構5の一対のシールジョー11a,11bを上昇させながら、シールジョー11a,11bによって筒状フィルムFを横シールする。これにより、シールジョー11a,11bは、筒状フィルムFを横シールしている間に、基準位置に近付く。すなわち、シールジョー11a,11bが横シールをしている間に、シールジョー11a,11bは、図9に示される軌跡上の点Vから点VIに移動して、基準位置である点Iにより近付くことができる。
製袋包装機1は、シールジョー11a,11bが筒状フィルムFを横シールしている間に、シールジョー11a,11bを上昇させる。これにより、図15に示されるように、シールジョー11a,11bより上方の筒状フィルムFが、シールジョー11a,11bによって持ち上げられることによって水平方向に膨らむ。そのため、シールジョー11a,11bより上方において、筒状フィルムF内の空間の容積が増加するので、被包装物Cが筒状フィルムF内に効率的に収容される。また、シールジョー11a,11bより上方において、筒状フィルムF内に収容されている被包装物Cの最大高さ位置が低くなるので、次回の横シール時において、シールジョー11a,11bが被包装物Cを噛み込むことが回避される。従って、製袋包装機1は、シールジョー11a,11bによるシール不良の発生を抑制することができる。
製袋包装機1では、しごき部材55,75が筒状フィルムFをしごいている間に、シールジョー11a,11bは下降し、その後、シールジョー11a,11bが筒状フィルムFを横シールしている間に、シールジョー11a,11bは上昇する。このように、製袋包装機1は、必要に応じて、シールジョー11a,11bを上昇または下降させる。製袋包装機1は、横シール機構5の上下移動用サーボモータ31の正転および逆転を適宜に切り替えることによって、シールジョー11a,11bの上昇および下降を容易に切り替えることができる。
製袋包装機1は、シールジョー11a,11bが筒状フィルムFを横シールしている間に、筒状フィルムFの搬送を停止させる。そのため、製袋包装機1は、筒状フィルムFの搬送が停止している間に、筒状フィルムFにラベル等を安定的に印字することができる。従って、製袋包装機1は、筒状フィルムFに印字する際のトラブルを抑制することができる。
製袋包装機1では、しごき部材55,75は、筒状フィルムFの内側の被包装物Cを強制的に落下させることができる。そのため、製袋包装機1は、筒状フィルムFの横シールされる部分において、被包装物C等の異物がシールジョー11a,11bに噛み込まれることを回避することができる。従って、製袋包装機1は、シールジョー11a,11bによるシール不良の発生を抑制することができる。
以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。
実施形態の製袋包装機1は、気体吹き込み機構をさらに備えてもよい。気体吹き込み機構は、横シール機構5によって横シールされる筒状フィルムFの内部に気体を吹き込む機構である。気体吹き込み機構は、例えば、成形機構73のチューブ2の内部において上方から下方に向かって気体を流し込むことができる部材である。気体吹き込み機構は、筒状フィルムFの内部に気体を吹き込むことで、筒状フィルムFの内部の気体の量を増加させて、筒状フィルムFを膨らませることができる。すなわち、気体吹き込み機構は、筒状フィルムFから成形された袋Xの厚みを調節することができる。
実施形態の製袋包装機1は、製袋後の袋Xの厚みを計測する厚み計測機構に接続されてもよい。製袋包装機1および厚み計測機構からなる製袋包装システムは、製袋包装機1によって製造された袋Xの厚みを、厚み計測機構によって計測する。

Claims (8)
- チューブ状の包材をシールして袋を形成しながら、前記袋の中に被包装物を充填する製袋包装機であって、
前記包材を下方に搬送する搬送部と、
前記包材を挟み込んで前記包材を横方向にシールする第1部材と、前記包材を所定の隙間を空けて挟み込む第2部材とを有する横シール部と、
前記横シール部の位置を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記第2部材で前記包材を挟み込みながら、基準位置にある前記横シール部を、前記搬送部によって下方に搬送される前記包材よりも速く下降させる第1制御工程と、
前記第1制御工程の後、前記第1部材に前記包材をシールさせながら前記横シール部を上昇させる第2制御工程と、
前記第2制御工程の後、前記第1部材が前記包材から離れるように前記横シール部を移動させ、その後、前記横シール部を前記基準位置に戻す第3制御工程と
を行う、
製袋包装機。 - 前記制御部は、前記第2制御工程において、前記横シール部の上昇が始まる時点から、前記横シール部の上昇が終わる時点までの間に、前記袋の中に気体を吹き込む、
請求項1に記載の製袋包装機。 - 前記制御部は、前記第3制御工程において、前記横シール部の上昇が終わる時点から、前記第1部材が前記包材から離れる時点までの間に、前記袋の中に気体を吹き込む、
請求項1または2に記載の製袋包装機。 - 前記制御部は、前記横シール部を移動させるためのモータの正転および逆転を切り替えることで、前記横シール部の位置を制御する、
