Claims (6)
- ガス生成電気化学プロセス用の電気分解セルの電極において、前記電極が三次元的に成形された複数の水平板状素子から構成され、かつ、前記水平板状素子は平らな部分を含むC字形の断面形状であり、平らな胴部と、1つまたは複数の側面部と、前記平らな胴部と前記1つまたは複数の側面部との間に配置される1つまたは複数のランダム形状移行部とから構成され、前記水平板状素子が複数の貫通穴を備える電極であって、
前記水平板状素子は、その全体が、構造的な隆起および沈下を伴わない平面領域に覆われ、かつ
前記平らな胴部は、数列にわたり並べられて相互に対角線状に配置されている複数の貫通穴を備える、
ことを特徴とする、ガス生成電気化学プロセス用の電気分解セルの電極。 - 請求項1に記載の電極において、前記貫通穴がパンチ穴であることを特徴とする電極。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の電極において、前記側面部に貫通穴が設けられていることを特徴とする電極。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の電極において、各前記水平板状素子の相互の間隔は0〜5mm、または0〜2mm、または0mmであることを特徴とする電極。
- アルカリ・ハライド水溶液からハロゲン・ガスを発生させる電気分解方法において、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の電極を使用することを特徴とする電気分解方法。
- 請求項5に記載の電気分解方法において、ハロゲン・ガス生成のために単一セル型またはフィルタプレス設計の電気分解槽を使用することを特徴とする電気分解方法。
