Claims (3)
- 陽極と陰極との間に2枚以上の複極を有し、陽極から陰極へ向けて各極のレベルが段階的に低くなることにより、電解操業中に前記複極を乗り越えて陽極側から陰極側へ溶融塩が流動する溶融塩電解槽であって、陰極に隣接する最外側複極の厚さを陰極側複極厚Tc、陽極に隣接する最内側複極の厚さを陽極側複極厚Taとし、陰極側複極厚Tc/陽極側複極厚Ta=複極厚係数Kとするとき、複極厚係数Kが1超である溶融塩電解槽。
- 請求項1に記載の溶融塩電解槽において、複極厚係数Kが1.05以上、4以下である溶融塩電解槽。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の溶融塩電解槽において、陰極に隣接する最外側複極における単位幅当たりの電流量×複極数=通電係数Aとするとき、A≧40kA/m以上の電解操業に使用される溶融塩電解槽。
