Claims (4)
- エンジンの一側面側に取り付けられかつ、燃焼室内に吸気を導入するよう構成されたインテークマニホールドと、
前記エンジンの一側面側のシリンダブロック側面に設けられかつ、ブローバイガスの気液分離を行うよう構成されたオイルセパレータと、
前記オイルセパレータのブローバイガス取出口と、前記インテークマニホールドとを連通させるよう構成された連通部と、
前記連通部を通じて前記インテークマニホールドに導入する前記ブローバイガスの流量を調整するよう構成されたPCVバルブと、を備えたブローバイガス還流装置であって、
前記インテークマニホールドの独立通路は、前記エンジンの一側面側のシリンダヘッド側面に接続され、
前記ブローバイガス取出口は、前記独立通路の、前記シリンダヘッド側面の接続位置よりも下方において、前記オイルセパレータの上端部に設けられ、
前記PCVバルブは、前記インテークマニホールドに取り付けられ、
前記連通部は、前記PCVバルブに接続され、
前記PCVバルブの前記インテークマニホールドに対する取り付け位置は、前記エンジンの車両搭載状態において、前記独立通路の、前記シリンダヘッド側面の接続位置よりも下方かつ、前記オイルセパレータの前記ブローバイガス取出口よりも上方であって、前記エンジンと前記インテークマニホールドとの間に位置しているブローバイガス還流装置。 - 請求項1に記載のブローバイガス還流装置において、
前記PCVバルブは、前記インテークマニホールドのサージタンクに取り付けられると共に、前記サージタンク内における、吸気流れ方向の上流部に前記ブローバイガスを導入するよう構成されているブローバイガス還流装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のブローバイガス還流装置において、
前記PCVバルブは、制御信号によってその開度が調整されるよう構成された電気制御式のPCVバルブであるブローバイガス還流装置。 - 請求項3に記載のブローバイガス還流装置において、
前記電気制御式のPCVバルブは、ブローバイガス中の燃料成分濃度推定値に基づき、前記燃料成分濃度推定値が高いほど、開度を大きくするブローバイガス還流装置。
