Abstract

PURPOSE:To rapidly heat a flow control valve and release its freeze in a short time, by providing the flow control valve in a blow-by gas passage, recirculating exhaust gas partially to an intake passage through an exhaust gas recirculating passage and providing said flow control valve neighboring partially to said exhaust gas recirculating passage. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas recirculating passages 23 are integrally formed to the external wall of an intake manifold 6, and said passage 23 is connected to an exhaust manifold 12 by a tube 25 in a take out port 24. While a blow-by gas passage 21, consisting of a rubber hose connected with one end to an oil separator 20 at a machine main unit side, is connected to an intake manifold 6 through a flow control valve 22 in the other end. At this time, a mounting seat 33 of the flow control valve 22 provided in the intake manifold 6 is used with partially in common a passage wall 34 of said recirculating passage 23. In this way, even if immediately after starting at cold time, the flow control valve 22 can be heated by exhaust gas heat in a short time, and a freeze of the valve 22 can be released in a short time.
