Abstract

CONSTITUTION: An air control valve 1 to regulate the suction air amount of an automobile apark-ignition engine provided with a fuel injection unit is provided with an after-burning prevention mechanism to detect a suction pipe negative pressure at the sudden closing of a throttle valve 2 for supplying air by bypassing the throttle valve 2. It is also provided with a first idling mechanism to supply a fixed amount of air for the operation of a car cooler or a car air-conditioner by bypassing the throttle valve 2 even in the idling of the engine. Since both mechanisms of after- burning prevention and first idling are equipped to the air control valve 1, the whole structure can be simplified very compactly.
